GNURoot WheezyX (xterms)
You can connect to this simple graphical desktop via your favorite vncviewer on your android device or another device on your network (like a PC). The default password is "password".
There seems to be an issue with most android vnc viewers. If you zoom too far out, your device may no longer respond to touches. I need to figure this out, but for now, don't zoom out bigger than the desktop. Stay zoomed in. Don't beat me up about this, but do be warned and please do file bugs and feature requests.
Allows you to create and launch a Debian Wheezy rootfs without rooting your device when used along with GNURoot (champion.gnuroot).

Hi, I'm not all that familiar with the distro this is based off but have some Linux experience. I installed libre office and cherry tree (supposedly), I can't find any directories for cherry tree so something may have gone wrong. When I try to launch libre I get a failed to open display error. Using lowriter gives the error ./lowriter gives some directory error so I'm assuming it's not the same Colman in used to. In the libre office directory the components are listed as s* (swriter, scalc,etc)
Hi, I like this one too like your Octave distribution. The VNC connection is also simple, however the problem lots of android devices have very little phone storage and large sd cards (as in my case). So I would like to know, while launching Rootfs, can it not be copied to sdcard instead? cheers
/usr/bin/xterm: unable to reset uid. Meaning, I am unable to launch terminal making it pretty impossible to use this app. Any ideas? Edit: my kernel is the problem (works on other kernels fine) sadly I'm I have to remain with incompatible kernel.

I installed gnuroot and and Debian wheezy, okey, it does not open any terminal windows. So I installed a terminal emulator. It still does not open a terminal when I install rootfs. Anything I am doing wrong? I do tick "launch as fakeroot" because I do not have a rooted device.

it can not provide a simple 1 line shell scripting output to print "hello world".
Loving the app so far, but I"m having trouble getting xfce4 running and trying to add a new user gives me cannot determine your user name. prompt shows "I have no name!@localhost:/$"
great job. was really easy to get it to work. required only minimall googleing and the end result is pretty amazing.
Can't launch xterm (setuid error), can't launch any other term prog (/dev/pts permission errors) and can not sudo (sudo uid needs to be root=0). All because of silly "proot" workaround. Some of us do have rooted phones u know?!
