Gnutella 2 client for android
The core is a C++ implemented gnutella2 application called sharelin, which is known at the only existing workable good Gnutella2 client on Linux, if you have tried it on Linux, why not give DroidG2 a try on your android phone. It is a great app to lookup whatever popular files.

Technique information: 1. Some unpleasent features related to sharelin 0.2 are not removed. For example, corrupted download which lead to corrupted and uninterpretable filename.
2. It required android phone running litte endian to get the checksum correct and successful download. If you are having problem in downloading, you may be using a phone which is not supported.

I have zero issues as others mention. Works fluently. Searches OK and downloads fine. IMO user error is to blame. Only ever had one download stick at 99% but a day later it finished downloading. Using cm12.1 unnoficial. I admit the ui and the core could be updated but on the whole a great app. Good job devs. An update to the app would be nice though. BTW I only ever use it on WiFi as 3g is a tad slow at downloads. Peace.
No new updates for almost 6 years so definitely no longer supported and it definitely needs work. But it is a shame it's getting criticism for problems that are native to peer-to-peer and nothing to do with the app itself. If you don't get connected or don't find your stuff, DON'T BLAME THE APP! That's just a characteristic of peer to peer.
What a useless app. It said connected to 0 servers. Search results were 0 too wtf.
I won't connect to the server orfind anythin a try several times but no luck zte x500
Saw this and thought back to the old days of KaZaA and Ares. This is not that. This app does not work at all in any way on an HTC One M8. Don't waste your time!
Connected, searched but no incoming files. Download doesn't work
Lack of conections is a gnutella problem. Even the desktop clients fail. I was able to downlod a song but unfortunately it was "feat. DMC" crap vers.
It connects to 15 servers, searches are fast and gets hundreds of results. But downloading works rarely, the speed is between 2-10kbps and Theres frequent interruption in download.
downloads are slow, some stop at 99% and never finish. filenames get replaced by gibberish half the time.
I couldn't get 1 song to come up & it said I was connected etc... I kept on searching different songs and nothing. This is useless

Useless. Been connected all night and hasn't downloaded a single KB uninstalled.

Hasn't been updated since 2011, is inefficient at downloading, and has an outdated core (Sharelin). Would be nice if there was at least an update with the latest core compiled...

Waste of time one of the downloads reached 213 out of 219 then stuck for two weeks the rest are stuck either at 1mb or 0mb
