GO 4 Schools

Slow, doesn't load, seems to be getting worse. This used to be a great app, but since schools have come back I get an alert, but then more often than not the app doesn't open, timeout or gives an error message. It's really frustrating, please sort this out. I know you can load in a browser, but it appears that your site isn't them optimised for mobile so it's all over the place.

Does what it says on the tin. i dont have the freezing issues mentioned by others and i have a huwei p30 pro. However, if i use my back button gesture, it closes the app. This does need the ability to communicate with the teachers etc. for things logged into the system. for example, my son has a negative point which doesnt belong to him as he was off sick. much more efficient if i could click the negative note and send it back with a note. In short, this would be brilliant if it had the interactivity with the school. 1 star loss for no interactivity and back button issue

This used to be a brilliant app, however since trying to use it from the start of term (September) I can't use it. Constantly crashing, says 'timed out'..... can't use it at all. Have tried in different rooms, uninstalling and then re-installing and switching phone off and on again. No result! I know it's not the internet as we have fibre to the door and all other apps etc are fine. They need to sort it out!!!

Horrible absolutely horrible it barely works. It is a waste of storage space and is unnecessary. You can use the calendar app built in on your phone to tell you when you have homework and write down your time table. Show my homework is much better. Inform someone at your school about show my homework it is much easier to use and works 100% of the time the only reason to use this is if you want to use it on multiple devices because it is easier to do that on this

It doesn't seem going on it should be. At starting was amazing and then became adding extra nagative points to the final result, which I'm sure is caused by the app program. I have send email (as contact them) about my issue but no immediately response which is unoptimistic if the school consider the app result with out review. One final P. S NO ICONS TO REPORT ISSUE LIKE THIS CONSIDERING THE APP ITSELF.

Given up with the app. When 1st started using it, it was at least 2-3 hours behind the website (homework didn't appear until hours after it appeared on the website). This week there is a 2-3 day delay!!!!! I have refreshed, rebooted and still there are items on the website that don't show on the app. Very frustrating. After the update this was fixed for a few days. Now even worse, app now more than 12hours behind the website!!!!!

This app worked initially but as all the other reviews rightly pointed out it freezes everytime and wont ever load, no matter what time of day or night I attempt to use it. My signal strength is 100% and all other apps work fine every time. Disappointing because I'm trying to use it to help my daughter with her school work . Please fix it so we can use it.

My daughter has used this for the last 2 years and has never had a problem, however it seems that since the start of this term there are major issues, it freezes straight away on the load screen and then says timed out. Serious bugs need to be sorted I think!

Sorry to say Rubbish App! Installed then went to log in but there were no boxes for username or password no matter how many times we trapped the screen. Rang the support line through app website who said the school has to raise the issue with support. Seems a waste of time when it isn't the school who created, manages or updated the app. Uninstall but same issue still there after reinstalling! 😔 Off to a bad start!

The actual app content is great. But since downloading it today I have had 61 emails from go4 schools. I have gone online and changed all settings to disable emails and uninstalled the app and I am still getting the emails every 5mins. I have now had to add go4 school emails to spam. Wish I had never downloaded the app!!!!

Terrible...... Its completely unreliable sometimes it will work but other times it just won't load so I can't see my work. I have friends who also use the app and they have experienced the same problem. There are other problems but I won't go into detail.

Same problem again. No longer working. unable to load any information in the app. reinstalled across several devices including ios. still not working. Developers obviously don't care as several months later nothing has changed. Schools insist on using this, someone get it working please.

I was happy with the basic information provided with the app, Homework etc but now it says that my log in has expired and there's no way to logout and log back in. I can see others have listed the same issues which has supposedly been rectified but clearly not.

Needs improvement. The attainment record scoring doesn't match what's on the website such that if your child is slightly below or above their pathway they are shown as well above/below. Your able to see your preferences for notifications but can only change them on the website. Having said that the information is clearly presented and easier to read on a phone than trying to use the website.

My experience to begin with was amazing and so good to be able to see my attendance and a quick timetable, since my new phone I can't seem to even log into the account. I've had my passwords saved so im disappointed I can no longer use this for homework e.g.

App is no better than website (which looks to be from 15 years ago). Often unclear. My school would've been better sticking to the old system which was far more simple and easy to use. Even several teachers have expressed dislike for Go4Schools and wish the school had kept the old system.

Rubbish app. As others have said once it logged you out there was no way to log back in. But more concerning was the fact that there was no security on the App. Rather than asking you to log in each time as soon as you went in to the app you could view your child's personal information so if someone else got hold of your phone they could view all the information. I'd rather log in via website and know the information is more secure than the convenience of an app. Won't be using again.

This app is so bad that it's impossible to describe my frustration with it and also what is up with that logo. I mean if you're going to make a logo don't have 2 different light sources on it it's common sense. If this was a country, it would have been destroyed by the rest of the world because they would have unanimously decided it had to go. After using this horrible excuse for an app, I felt like a run down building about to collapse. Kind regards bojo. 😁👍🇬🇧

Crashes regularly 202 error code. It make little difference reinstalling it. Quite happy to BETA test so you can see how often it crashes! If it worked properly it would be a great app for school, pupils & parents to use

It would be useful if you could log in through the app as a member of staff. The website is long winded and useless at times as it is, this app appears to not benefit those that actually have to access it quickly, remotely and input a lot of data. My personal opinion is Go4schools in general is a waste of time and not worth the money schools invest in it at the moment. It needs to seriously sort itself out.

This app worked ok the first time we used it but since then it won't let is log on saying that our login had expired. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app but having same issue. Very frustrating!!!

I read the reviews and was wary, but school have switched everything over to this abomination. As a parent it is just awful, doesnt load, or stalls. Wont allow me to tick off completed tasks. It either keeps refusing my password or needs to be left logged in which leaves my child data vulnerable if I lose my phone. Seriously, if your school is considering using this dreadful software, take the head to the library and throw books at them til they agree not to. One star is too many. AVOID

I like that app but the new logo it is not original

Worked fine when I first logged in as a parent. Subsequent attempts to open the app just leads to it freezing on the load screen followed by it crashing. Really poor and probably not helped by a lack of investment in updates since February 2020. My kids school have invested in this platform and currently it is not fit for purpose.

I've been trying to use the app for 1-2 hours and gotten nowhere due to either error 202 or 102. I need this app badly for my school since we have no computer/laptop at home and I can't see what homework I need to complete. This needs to be fixed pronto. I am putting the failure of my classes on the app.

Worked alright to start with but now it's telling me my login has expired and there is no way to log back in. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it but the same message keeps appearing. Wouldn't recommend Go 4 schools the best app was School Gateway!!

Absolutel rubbish! Since Christmas the app is NEVER up to date. At one point it said my child has 32 outstanding tasks when infact there was only 11 outstanding! Extremely frustrating not getting up to date information.

The app was really good at first, but after less than a day, it just froze on a loading screen and then crashes. I really wish it would work and then i would give it five stars.

Bad! Don't download it, it has loads of adverts and it takes ages load your progress on things. Sometimes it doesn't even let you log in!
