I'm sorry but way, way too expensive, 5 practice games then wham have to pay lots to continue, no free replays to try things out. A real shame. uninstalled after 5 mins no lives left. Great graphics, nice layout, Good controls. Beware the accidental click on shop, hit the back button not the confirm that pops, just in case.

Appalling rip-off with coins/gems and similar tokens that need to be bought repeatedly in order to be able to continue playing or use some other program features. There are superior competitor products available in the Play Store that you can purchase once and for all and be done with it, so why would you allow yourself to be subjected to be constantly milked by the monetizing scheme here? Replaced with better alternatives from honest developers and consequently, this s..t is being uninstalled.

The home screen looks great, the options look wonderful, the various ways to play and learn look exactly like what I am looking for. Unfortunately the game crashes a few seconds after selecting any kind of game, which makes the aesthetics null and void.

Pretty cool app that teaches you how to play Go at a very methodical and slow pace. There are some English language translation issues. Low ranking because they hit you with a 'you must purchase membership to continue' mandate, which is pretty terrible. I was excited to learn about Go but now I'm going to uninstall the app.

Two stars simply because it requires a membership to acess any of the content. If the academy portion was continuously free I would give it a better rating. What I did play of it was wonderful and worth the time. That being said there should be a notification letting people know it is a trial and how long the trial is. Or put in the description that it is a trial.

Don't waste your time. Greediest developer yet. This game is not free to play. It requires you to subscribe just to play the training. There is nothing in the game that states it has a monthly fee nor are the prices shown until all of a sudden you can not play and a pop up keeps telling you to go purchase a membership. Deceptive,shamefull game. This should not be an editor choice Google is just as much at fault for this garbage

The best go tutorial I have ever seen, especially for complete beginners. Sadly the 'free' part is only for two days, after which the app locks itself until you pay for a membership.

try this game, and at second times its in charge.. but I like multiplayer when you play with other people.. but, the chat bar have limit line chat to choice. make it can typing by user. or make more lines choice to chat..

seems like a decent intro to go but this app doesn't mention that it will soon require you to pay membership or it stops working. I imagine by that point most people would have already rated it positively. very deceptive!

Annoying pay wall, I couldn't stand 5 minutes of this app. Either make it a premium app with no microtransactions, or completely free. I'm not going to play a game with such a terrible monotization strategy. Please re-think it.

After a certain point it makes you have to pay a monthly membership to advance in the puzzles & it doesn't actually let you message your opponent like chess; instead it just gives 6 options of pre-made text you can send.

Every time i tried to start even just one of the puzzles, the app suddenly closed, so i have no idea if this was even accurate to the real game or not. Uninstalled.

Not very beginner friendly. Lives system also just creates frustration and lack of motivation to learn.

Good, but in their puzzle mode, if you lose, the game will end and theres no way to go back and see where you went wrong.

Trying to learn as beginner, used up free plays rather immediately using the training (for beginners) mode. You have to buy stones to keep playing.

Had to make a lot of purchases to use anything, hard to understand what is what. Bad user interface not very friendly.

good when I could play it, but then it wants me to pay for a reoccurring membership. HA that's not going to happen. I'm sure they could find a better way to make money off this...

It seems designed to teach kids, annoying for someone who knows how to play. You are also limit how much you can play without paying.

Screenshots are completely misleading, this game's appearance is like some grotesque abomination of Candy Crush. Deleted within seconds.

I would love to buy this.The academy is really cool, but I don't understand some of the terms of the app. I don't know what charging hearts means or what the calculator icon is for. Why do I have to buy gems. I don't understand what I'm getting for 50 gems. Is this a monthly subscription or a one time payment. I'd pay for this, but I'm not paying money when I'm not sure what I'm getting. I just want to use the academy for my 6 year old. For 50 gems how long can I use the academy for? Thanks.
