1/I once paid for this app to get rid of the ads. Everybody knows what happened. It used to be, as far as I am concerned, the best messenger ever. I kept using it because it was still good, in spite of the features becoming less and less. 2/Now, even the possibility of toggling between SIM cards is gone. I'll reinstall this app if the dev wakes up.

I love this texting app, but I just got a new phone and it won't install!! Seems others are having the same issue after the app is updated or deleted to reinstall. I can install themes all day long but without the app to run them, they're useless. Please fix this!!!

As with so many, I've used this app for years. However, the update option apparently has been disabled. I get the notification, but the update won't stick. After reading the latest comments, it sounds like I should be grateful. Currently my app still works, without the buggy update ! Woohoo ! Go me !!

This app is not displaying as a default option. It is grayed out in app info so cannot make it my default nor select it from default list for messages. I added it as an SMS option. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The best keyboard out there and I refuse to use another. March 21, 2022 been missing texts and after uninstalling and reinstalling the app no-longer can set as default SMS. Now I'm forced to use a different app. Shame; I used to love this app. 😭

I loved this app but it suddenly stopped working. It'll freeze my phone up and it just turns itself on and off without anyone being near it... Please fix this app I don't want to use a different one.

App will not install on my phone. I was having trouble sending and receiving messages, so I tried updating the app, and it would not update. So I deleted the app and tried reinstalling it, only to get an error message that says, "Can't install go sms pro". I really liked using this app. But, I have been having a lot of problems with it since my phone did an update. I have an Android Note 10+. I have tried sending an email to the developer, but the email returned saying the mailbox is full.

UPDATE: I'm tired of coming by and reading more obituary notices for what was once the best text app I ever had. It seems this one has been abandoned and life support won't help. Loved this app ever since I got my first smart phone. But recently I had to uninstall the app because it wasn't allowing me to receive certain text messages and even when I tried to delete messages it would lock up. I hope you can fix this. I miss my Betty Boop text theme but missing my boss's texts is unacceptable. 😠

It's so frustrating because it takes a minute before it opens again. When I was going to use this app, it doesn't work anymore. It doesn't functioning well. So, I decided to uninstall it but when I installed it again, the messages I set privately, it's all gone.🤧

I really liked this ap, but some time in the last 2 weeks the notification audio has suddenly stopped working. My guess is that it is something to do with any recent updates. Have tried everything I can think of to fix it and nothing has worked. Would love some advice on how to fix this or for the developers to fix the issue and give us another update!! Edit: Here we are 2 years later and I have a brand new Xiaomi 12 Pro and the ap won't install on it. So guess I won't be changing my rating!!

It's ok. It's buggy as hell, little to poor documentation, very slow if you keep a lot of messages and you won't get much support on it. First off, if you keep a lot of messages and don't delete them, the application can become almost unusable. It constantly is scanning the message folder and doesn't seem to do so efficiently. You can see the notifications when it's scanning, and will scan even if there are no new messages. You have to keep a very small set of messages and delete frequently or it's unusable. The secret box pin will work about 1/4 of the time. Don't enter the pin too fast or it will say it's not valid. Don't enter it too slow. I can't figure out for the life of me why it doesn't work sometimes. You eventually do get in though. Attaching photos via MMS is problematic on my phone. The picture never shows that it's sent. It just always shows that it's sending(assuming that I'm understanding the blinking green arrow correctly as there is no documentation that I can find). People get the image, but it doesn't show as sent. In some instances, the image will just keep being sent over and over and over. I think this happens when you attach an image and try to put text in the same message. I'm not 100% certain though. Your best bet not to annoy your friends is to send the image, wait a few minutes and then delete the image. Otherwise it will endlessly show that it's trying to send and possibly send it many, many times to them. Lastly, the documentation and support seems non-existent. If you do need help you're going to have to scour google and maybe get some on the android forums. All that being said, if you're looking for a sms tool with a secret box, it's probably one of the best ones. Just needs a LOT of work.

I've been using this app for years and loved it. But it seems like now after the latest update the One UI 4.0 or whatever the most recent update was last week, I'm not able to receive text messages. I've missed some important texts and also text that were not as important. After reading a few reviews it appears that I'm not the only one being affected. PLEASE FIX ASAP!😢

For some reason, I'm not able to install the lastest upgrade. It keeps stating "Couldn't Update". And NO, I'm not willing to uninstall to reinstall the app. I've lost my themes once doing that, and I don't intend to lose my favorite one. Especially since that specific theme is no longer available and I went through alot of hurdles just to get it activated on my new device.

Unreliable. Nothing but problems. Always getting automated messages saying "your messages are being processed" but it never stops. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesnt fix it. When you restart your phone you get 100s of notifications as if it is indexing all of them. I have not received all of my messages as i have text to my phone using a different phone and it never came through. You email support and you get an automated message saying there inbox is full. Poor customer service. No reply

So I'm not the only one having problems I see all of a sudden I can't send MMS keeps failing. I've used this app for years with no problem now all of a sudden everything is wrong can't reply to group messages anymore, have to open the app multiple times or a certain way to type a message. Not getting my messages or they are coming days later mostly not receiving them especially in a group message. Please do something about this.

The latest update is a mess. After using this app for years, I continued to use even with the evolution of phones. This is the last time I'm going to accept the bad updates without exploring options. I've used paid options for years, since i was buying themes🙄 The mistakes with paid products have been an issue numerous times, and hope to find a better product on the market. I won't say there are not better products. 1/30/2022 update: I'm not able to send or receive messages properly.

I mostly enjoy this app, however there is one aspect that is extremely frustrating: if I open a message thread from the push notifications I am unable to send a response. I can type a response, but the send button is grayed-out and doesn't work. So I CONSTANTLY have to close the app and reopen it to be able to respond to messages. Please fix this! 🙏

Every time I go to send a message this app takes forever to load, and I'm sure it's in settings somewhere but the popup boxes from a second person while I'm typing text to someone is ANNOYING. It completely freezes the app and you can't finish your text til you take care of the popup one. What the hell??? This app has gotten WORSE since last time I tried it!

So this app, that many of us paid for several years ago with a one time permanent membership, has now changed to a monthly or yearly membership payment. So they've restricted those of us that bought a lifetime membership with a one time payment, since they now bill monthly or yearly. THIS IS A BREECH OF THE AGREEMENT WE HAD WITH GO SMS WHEN WE PURCHASED A LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP TO THIS APP! DON'T BUY THIS APP UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE LIED TOO AS WELL! RESTRICTING PAID CUSTOMERS IS FRAUDULENT!

I subscribed today. I know people need to make a living. App is Getting glitchy. Theme page says check network no connectivity. And 9/10 times when opening messages get gosms initial white welcome screen. (Tap phones back button and opens gosms app) Waiting for fix . thank you. Android 10 ui version 2.5

I had the paid version and I'm glad that it still recognized my purchase after not using it for years. I used to love this app and so I came back because I needed its features again which I couldn't find in other apps. Sadly, this app is not performing as intended. I can't use the theme and font stores and I can't block messages. I hope the developer fixes this as it's a great app in my opinion.

I'm a GO SMS account holder for years now - now I'm not even able to send the app as my default messaging app There's no way to get into the messages that I already have saved - And the email I just sent to support got kicked back This is ridiculous If I could give it zero Stars I would

There are so many cool themes. I enjoy customizing each contact individually, there are endless possibilities. The only thing I would like to see change, is the amount of fonts that there are to choose from. I only see two options and there are not any additional fonts available to even download.

Ever since the new update I haven't been able to send and receive messages like I used to. For the past month or so now when I do get a message, icon doesn't go away or trying to login to an account and need a code, the code never comes through. It's getting kinda annoying tbh. It makes me wanna delete the app but I love being able to have my messages customized.

I love the themes that I can change according to my current mood. I'll love it even more if it's also fully functional or compatible with my Samsung tablet, not just my S21 U and can send and receive texts and mms in real time. Please fix. I'm tired of just a white or black background with the stock messanging app. Go SMS Pro app offers lots of colorful options.

I use to love using this quick and convenient app but with the recent fixes I am no longer satisfied with GO SMS PRO. Every time I open my messages I am confronted with a welcome screen. They delay is annoying and keeps me from answering my texts quicky. Even though I have used this application for years I will not renew my subscription unless fixes can be made to ensure quick and reliable service that I have been use to having!

This app, which i have been using successfully for over 7 years, has suddenly stopped working properly. People send me texts that I never receive. I'm not even getting texts from my bank anymore. There's apparently an update available, but it won't install. NOT happy. AND my emails to the developers are bouncing. 😖

I've had this app for almost 10yrs never had a problem, but recently I've been having problems opening it, sending and receiving messages, I have to force it closed to open it, can't update it so I thought maybe if I uninstall and reinstall it would work so I did, but now I can't even reinstall it. What's up with it??
