I tried to use this app but it wouldn't use the wallpapers I have for the background. It kept freezing up.
Do not bother installing Go SMS Pro. It's a rental. $10/month

I updated the main app (SMS Go) and now the theme maker isn't compatible with it anymore. I don't like any of the themes that are given to you in the main app, so this was really disappointing. You guys should probably check to make sure you update ALL of your apps at once next time, or at the very least make sure they're all compatible still.
I'd give it five if they would fix the interface glitch. Every time I try to change the interface settings like font or color it takes be back to step one and doesn't change anything! It's preventing me from customizing it the way I want! I can't even choose my own wallpaper. This application needs a serious update....
This is garbage. It closes me out and causes me to start over each time I try inserting a picture into a frame and adjusting it's size. I can't manage to make even one half decent theme anyhow, given it's lack of versatility. I'm really just making a wallpaper.
I like the idea of this app, but for some reason on the main messaging page, there is a white hue over my wallpaper. I turned the transparency up all the way, so it should be perfectly clear, but this stupid white layer on top looks horrid. 5 stars when that's fixed though.
This used to be wonderful but I got my new phone a few days ago and it stopped letting me pick my own wallpapers, it's just a white background after I attempt to pick a photo from my gallery. Please fix and you get 5 stars back.
I have the Samsung Stratosphere. This app was amazing but as soon as i updated the software on my phone this app stopped fully workin it changes the background and the pop up box works fine but the font,incoming n outgoing box color doesnt change im just having problem after problem i even tried to reinstall it.
I made a custom mass effect theme for my cousin and myself, uploaded them to the DIY theme store here it is almost a month later and still no uploads. This program is a joke. Doesn't allow for enough customization, and then forces you to upload to a server to attempt to share.....just wanbt to send it in file form to a friend but nope. Fix the DIY section, and it will be worth the time until then steer clear.
I use to LOVE this app but now it doesn't save theme you make so all the time you put in is WASTED. I've used this app for years and this is my first time having a problem with it. Please fix it so I can go back to creating my own personalized beautiful themes. So disappointed... Galaxy S3
I love the ability to make my own themes. My biggest problem with this program is the color selection tool. I would prefer being able to enter the color as a HEX or RGB number instead of blindly trying to select colors from the interface the way it is now. If there's a way to precisely control the color, my rating will be 5 stars! For now, it's 3.
It used to be a 5 star app, but now it just doesn't work on my note 4. It keeps telling me to download the newest version of Go SMS otherwise it won't be compatible, but when I follow the link to my Play Store, my Go SMS has nothing to upgrade. Please fix it, I really like this app
While i do appreciate that there is a theme maker its very limited. Like, no black or white? The use of a full spectrum would be nice as opposed to how the overlay on the top bar is muted. I don't want translucent grey, i want translucent black. its also quite buggy. As in sometimes an all over background won't even apply. Please consider actually reading your reviews and making adjustments based on what your customers are saying. After all, we're your target market
First, come on guys this app is free so please... you could tell the team nicely, that is why for every update you guys have to ost your review for the team to know any glitches on the update. Second, for those starters please do read, this is a plug in theme maker made for Go Sms only so if you are posting reviews that says it doesn't work then go F#$@ yourself. Third for the Dev. Team keep it up, thanks. Great job guys!
The content is poor quality. You should be able to change the color of preset themes and pictures, but you can either take the picture how it is or use a boring and basic solid color. The clip art is limited and childish as well. I'm uninstalling this app.
It's very cluttered and difficult to navigate around and hitting the back key doesn't take you back to a previous step but instead makes you start over. Customizing templates has about two things you can actually change and understanding the program is a challenge and a half.
I managed to make some really great themes, and the sharing ability is great, though I know alot of people would enjoy being able to PUBLISH them to the app store. I loved being able to tweek with my photos since I have hundreds. Im not sure if this app recieved an update or gosms did, but either way being able to use your creations is disabled. But in all itll be great once its usable.
I love go products because of their unparalleled customization. On go SMS, I was downloading a theme but completely changing them up. So I got this plug in. But let me tell you, it's very buggy. The interface seems clear, but when I set interfaces and save, it loses everything. I've had to redo themes over and over, but it still won't save my settings. Many times, the program froze my phone. It sounds like a great program, but it doesn't work. Better to customize downloaded themes for now.
I used to be able to make themes without trouble and USE the themes back before Go Sms was updated. Now when i wanna make themes, they keep getting me to "get the latest version of Go SMS" and I tried tons and tons of times but it still doesnt let me make my theme at all. Disappointing.
Tried to upload my own pic, in fact I tried several different ones, and it won't work. Won't load any of my pics. Hope this gets fixed cuz I don't like any of the other themes offered nor do I want to have to pay for them. Maybe I'll just go back to handscent.
Use to love this app but now this app no longer works once you update Go SMS Pro to the latest version. I can't make my own themes or use any of the ones I made in the past Please fix this ASAP and I will change my rate to 5 stars
