The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) brings an enhanced version of its web application to your pockets, making for a better riding experience than ever. Working both with and WITHOUT mobile data coverage, you will be able to enjoy the app’s functionalities no matter where you are on the trails.
This app gives you access to the following *OFFLINE* features, anywhere, anytime, even in areas without cell coverage:
- See your location on the map through your phone’s GPS signal
- View nearby restaurants, gas stations, hotels, parking, and other services
- Access the trails conditions as per the last data connection available
- See the distance between you and a specific point
- Easily access a list of curated snow tours
- Quickly save and load itineraries

- Keep an eye on updated trail statuses for the best riding experience
- Easily meet with friends by sharing your position with each other (no one else can see your location)

Seems like there's an in-app update every day. not sure what's being changed as I cannot navigate the app without it freezing up for a second or two every movement and none of the menus etc look any different. All the "districts" are extra downloads on top of the daily update. Search function is extremely slow to load any results. Probably won't be buying this next season
This past year was my first time riding in Canada, and I found with this app it made getting around extremely easy. It takes the guess work out trying to figure out where you are on a map. Plus, makes it easy to a plan route since you can see where accommodations, dealerships, fuel and food are along the way. Another feature I found really helpful was that you can know how far your ride is to your next destination.
Works well but was not updated enough. Trail path changes due to logging for example were not updated in the app so there were times that we were 'on' the trail but the app showed we were not. This app should definitely show groomer locations for safety sake. It would be nice if the app showed accommodations fuel and food like the interactive map on the website.
Always asking to download for offline maps, updates get hung up at 99%, the A and B touchscreen for route planning is just plain frustrating. I really want to like and use this app....but I can't and don't. I won't be getting it next year. This app should be free when you buy your overpriced trail pass.
Pretty good for navigation but there is no option to leave the screen on. The screen saver comes up after a short period of time so you have to log back into your phone to see where you are. My phone mounts to my bars and it would be nice to be able to look down and see where you are rather than having to unlock the phone each time.
Second day and wants to update. Goes through update process and gets to end and app shuts down. 12/11/19 - After response from deveIoper I tried it again. It says update available, goes through the update process and at the end crashes. When I open back up again it tells me there is an update. No change from original issue.
Big improvement over last years app. The level of detail to zoom in is much better, making navigation much easier. Downloading maps is a welcome addition. Overall the app has been a pleasure to use!
Would be a more useful app if it didnt close and require restarting everytime you put it back in your pocket. It does work great and is a real help on the trail once it has loaded, just seems laggy/slow to load. Really dont mind the $4/yr if it gets better with time.
Zero stars if I could. No maps available offline, can't download and use GPS. Just now I thought I'd run app and check any updates etc, and it's disabled and you expect me to BUY IT AGAIN!? Disable and charge for same thing again, we already pay ridiculous price for trail fees, why isn't this rolled into trail fee? Not again.
App works great online and off The only negative that I have noticed when using the app there are not enough trail markers on the map Needs way more trail numbers to easy to get lost When you use trail status on the ofsc web site there are lots of numbers at every intersection this app needs to be the same as the ofsc trail status map Thanks
When I open the app at home and zoom in it asks if I want to load the district to go offline(district 14) but if I say yes it gives an error message. Must say I've had more problems with this app than any I've ever used. I am at v1.0.7 build35. When I open it says update available but get error if say yes. Was able to update previously using playstore but not now. I hope this app can be improved.
Same as one of the other reviews, cant load, tried a 187mb download 4 times. Crazy slow download speed and at the end it doesn't actually load the app, just asks you to start the download again. Completely useless at the moment...
Garbage!!!! App won't even load most of the time. Tried multiple times today and wouldn't work at all. And yes I had great reception!
Once i moved from the location i downloaded it at it worked much better..after using on the trail at many intersections it is very useful for not having to backtrack unnecessarily.
Don't like the constant, and I mean 9 times out of 10 opening the app I have to download updates. Also hate annual renewal and costs. Make it like the Polaris Ride Command or the fcmq apps. Those are 5 star.
It's kinda annoying having to pay for it every season but seems to be better this year. I would say it should probably be included with the season pass...
Update: problem solved! Thanks guys! Just paid for the app and can't even open it. Keeps saying map must first be downloaded over and over and over which ive done 4 times now....
So far a huge improvement. Not sure I feel the cost to be justified if next year they make you pay again. But if it's $3.99 for life it's worth it.
Good info and updates. The ability to use a map while riding...screen stays on, Gps location auto updates every 15secs group ride updates every minute would be nice.
Good app buggy sometimes but good for the most part. Do not rely on the feature that shows you which way you are pointing though
Hit update today. Now its been loading for the last hour. Unable to use it. Wish i didnt hit update. It was fine earlier
Always updates and slow slow slow....use the web based map. It is better.
Very poor app NOTE you cannot see your friends unless your have mobile phone service Useless in a great deal of places the trail plan runs Will not purchase next year
Great app just needs refining, zoom in on your location automatically would be an improvement
App looks great so far shows all the trails around my area. Will be great for sledding 🤙
Update, Never been unhooked from data for more than a couple hrs...but magically its workin good again.

This app doesn't work for me it won't let me download it. I paid for it and can't open it sucks I prefer not to give it a star
This is a very poorly designed app. It's very slow to load, it's laggy when trying to accept the agreement (which you have to do EVERY time), and instead of opening the map near your location, it opens the entire province. Then, when you attempt to zoom, you have to do it in 6 or 7 steps to let the map reload between. Oh, and don't forget the 80mb updates every single time you open the app that also take 5 minutes to render, then reaccept the agreement. Just really, really bad mobile design.
