I've enjoyed playing on Go Wars so far. It seems well-designed and I haven't had any problems. Some of the options require some trial & error to figure out what they do, these could benefit from help buttons. BGM = Background music (on / off). SE = Sound Effects (on / off).
This app worked fine for months, but today it won't open, just hanging at the HEROZ screen then crashing as others have described. Tried hard closing and reopening, no change. Cleared app data, no change. Restarted phone, no change. Uninstalled, it wouldn't reinstall until I had over 1GB of space, then it reinstalled, but no change. Pixel 3, Android 11.
The AI is incredible, like the Monks from Doctor Who, incredible. Heroz doesn't just test their AI out with Go. Go ahead and take a peek at all their efforts, you will be amazed. Not to mention that they give you several ways to save & replay play-by-play every game. Not just yours, even the 8 Dan pro's games in the Go Wars community are available for free to keep & replay! If you don't love it double your money back, some restrictions apply. 🤑🤔💸
The most amazing online Go game in any app store, perfectly matched with the greatest AI on the planet, to date. If you're playing another Go game then do yourself a favor: put away your credit card, take a break from Brilliant, and put on a nice suit/frock; this is the master's class of the Go world and you just found the golden ticket. There is no annoying chatter from the opposition. Just beautiful Japanese style backgrounds & animations. Skynet needs to know how to best remove liberties.💽👻

if it had a 19×19 board I would rate higher. 9×9 and 13×13 is great for beginners but not much fun for dans. AI is around 1 kyu
I like the quick pace that the game features and enjoy the back and forth battles in the 9x9 games
I can't even open the app. It doesn'y play just hangs there. Needs more work if you ask me.

How can I play in the light line board
Great for learning and playing against others! Though, more terms and communication options so others can review games would be appreciated. The graphics are pretty, the music great, the usability is clean and fast and it's easy to understand how to start up. 10/10 from a complete beginner. Also, please include point scoring and territory.
