Go X - Ride the Future

The most comfortable bikeshare bike I have tried. Loved how easy it is to adjust the seat with the spring loaded post, nice sturdy kick stand, wide basket, and super comfortable grips on handle bars. The software is easy to use, but sometimes freezes. I have found if you turn off wifi it works better.

GPS cuts out and then you're unable to park the scooter without additional charges. It sat for five minutes before it reconnected and then they charged me more for waiting. GPS was working fine with Google maps but the app refused to connect and update.

It was the first time I ever tried one. Although it isn't very warm (around 35 degrees), it's still fun. I've seen mixed reactions from other cars and trucks. Some are happy to see me smiling and others despise the scooters. I can move better and can beat traffic even at 15 mph. It's a lot of fun. I recommend it to anyone who is interested.

The app shows scooters available but we have never been able to find a scooter via the app. If I come across one I can use it but the map is incorrect and the scooters on the map do not exist. Either the GPS on the scooters are bad or the app does not work. Would not recommend if using to find a nearby scooter.

This is such an amazing concept, and I love the scooters. However, I really feel like the scooters shutting off at night is a mistake, especially since similar companies (Lime) allow late-night rentals. I’d even pay double at night. I’m a bartender at a brewery in a college town (Ann Arbor—Go Blue!), and I relish getting to leave my car at home and not harming the environment by driving 1 mile to work. Getting off at 2am and being able to ride a scooter home would be amazing. Other than that, you guys are amazing. Thank you!

Very smooth, very fast, and very stable in comparison to other scooters. The app is very easy to use.

Doesnt work. Cant even add payment info, so can't use. Also, there are not enough designated spots to leave the scooters.

They actually were much faster than I expected and very fun everyone should try them out it was a fun experience.

Excellent product. Last year, the pricing was better by another company. It seems too high for recreational use.

installed app, demanding my phone number, I entered it, demanded consent for age, confirmed, then access denied on Android. No support.

Tried it out for the first time, took about 30 minutes of the app not accepting the tokens it was giving me and then finally connected only to find out the motor was busted and wouldn't move. Granted since it's my first I was unaware that there was actually parking places for this scooter so I'm probably gonna have to eat the $50 fee for leaving it where I found it which was at a park. Might try again in the future once the system is more optimized

I payed for a scooter and it didn't unlock. Wasted 30 dollars trying to unlock it before moving to another scooter.

Can't add payment, app crashes every time a scooter is selected.

It would be nice to be able to rent multiple scooters on the same card same app same phone

Although it was a bit pricey, I really like the scooters that are available in the park.

Terrible experience. You have to ride on the streets and you can only park in designated areas which are only convenient if you want to stay right by the beach. I ride it to leanard's only to find out that I had to go back a half a mile just to park it in one of their parking areas.

It's not loading it's just stuck on the loading screen

So I ride Go Xs pretty often, everyday for the most part. I know what the prices were for certain destinations and overnight without any warning the price went up it doubled in fact. Some Go Xs will start up charge $1 then shut down. You don’t get that $1 back. I’ve been late to work several times because of Go Xs and there issues. They are super convenient but when they want to be, that’s just not going to fly. I can’t depend on them to be there when I need them.

Lock/unlock features did not function properly. Did the Diamondhead trail and when we got back only my scooter unlocked. (2 scooter 24 hour package) Noone to speak to at GO X. Sat for a long period of time pondering what to do. Decided to re-rent them all over again and just argue later on the situation. Discovered the 2nd scooter brake line cable was not connected since we started. Used caveman techniques to reconnect brake line so we could get back. GO X needs a lot of work to be better

I tried Go X for the first time. Good experience. Give it a try without pressure. There were little rookie mistakes. I walked around the block trying to find the bike in the alley. My phone didn’t fit in the holder until I found the adjustments. I tried to lock it with the reflector in the way. I found the bell. I figured out the gears. There is none.

Almost every scooter I've touched seems to have some kind of problem. Also you can pick up scooters in no scooter zones and it lets you end the ride in this no zone and later charges you an extra $10. The only way to get out of this is to either pay the restart it fee or walk it with the locked front wheel out of the zone. Frustrating.

Overproced and clunky. The scooters are heavy and clunky making them difficult to ride in the city. We went on a 1.5 mile ride and it cost 24 dollars each, 14 each for the scooter and 10 for a parking fee. We were notified we parked in the wrong spot and had to park in a go-x spot, but the app didn't tell us where those were, so we were kind of stuck. A lyft for this ride would have been 12 dollars and covered both of us. Worst scooter company and experience I've ever had. Would not recommend

Heading to the MN State Fair, a friend suggested we use the Go X app and save ourselves $40 in parking by parking our car about a mile away and finding some Go X bikes to ride to the entrance to the fair. We were a little skeptical, but downloaded the app anyway. Parking at the fair is usually stressful and costly, and our day today included neither of those words. The app was easy to install and set up a profile/payment option, and the bikes worked great! The best part was we didnt have to find a docking station, we just dropped them right next to the sidewalk and walked across the street to the entrance.(I think everyone else was jealous). Upon leaving the fair, we found a bike and a scooter to ride back to our car a mile away. The scooter was really fun! We will definitely be recommending this app to friends looking to save money on parking and to those just looking to have a fun activity to do!
