Still use my HP25 (non-C version), nice to have the same calculator with me all the time. But the poor key response makes it unuseable. Uninstalling.
Was 5 star, but with last update it crashes on samsung S5 when haptic feedback is enabled. I'll see if I can revert to 1.0.6.
Exceptionally true to original! One get into (and out of) program mode by tapping the display.
Thanks so much for this! I still have my HP25 from the 70s and this app replicates it beautifully. Love it. 😊
Just like my old HP25. Even better since its in my pocket ready to use
The name GO makes me think of HAL. Well done. And the calculator is excellent.
Fantastic. Just as I remember it.
Exactly like my old HP25, from 1975!
I loved my HP25 and my 25C. The most important aspect for me is the way its RPN logic works that added to the fact that i got used to handle it with one hand. I can now do that with my XPERIA ST15a. Great job.
Originally bought my 25c in 1978. Over the years it's disappeared. So nice to have it back. Thank you for such a great app.
Works best with leisurely key entry, just like unbuffered 1970s analog keyswitches. Easy to read snd works great on Samsung Note phone.
There were many programs in books and magazines for the HP-25 that were very useful for real engineering problems.
This is a great emulator. Thanks Olivier
The keyboard need unreasonable precise touching in order to work.
Thanks so much.
On a Nokia 6 running Nougat I can't get to Settings (was LHS button on my Samsung S3). Any chance of a fix?
I miss my HP25 I used all through college, and for a few years after. I lost it many years ago and can't bring myself to replace it just for nostalgic reasons. This is the next best thing. Looks good, works very well. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the keyboard could use a little improvement. Some inputs are missed and there is no haptic feedback or click. Otherwise I would rate it 5 stars.
Yes, yes, it's pretty good. I got my first HP calculator nearly 40 years ago. And the go25c looks and acts nice once you can be sure you've pressed a key. But it takes a long press on each key to ensure a valid key press has registered, which makes using it just tedious, unlike Due Smit's 41c. A click after a tap would be nice.
Checked against the original 25C owner's manual and every function works perfectly. The keyboard issue is of easy solution: just remember that it is a 70's product, when the fingers were not so anxious and touch the keys with 70's speed.
Keyboard unreliable. Vibrates but doesn't pick up all keystrokes. Too unreliable to use
Brilliant! I loved my HP-25c back in my engineering school days and now I have it again. Works like a charm on my GS4.
Good for nostalgia , but the sticky keys get to be a pain after none too long.
Does not respond to key touches on Droid mini xt1030. Also, option bar (...) at bottom covers the 1, 2, 3 keys. I also have my hp25 at home-- my first HP and it still works!
Press a key and the phone vibrates but the digit often doesn't show on the display. Not really working is it?
I have an HP 25 and this works just like it. Minus .01 stars for not showing a program switch
Not quite the HP29C I used to have, but the retro vibe is great. I'm using this on my phone since the HP25 is clean, simple scientific calculator with red (simulated) LEDs! (To be honest, I do prefer my HP15C when I can reach it.) Thanks for a great program!
Made me feel young again; The HP25 (without the "C") was my first HP calculator many many years ago. Tnx Olivier!
Excellent fidelity to the real thing. And my second most-used app. Love it. That said, the last update has introduced a small fault; using haptic feedback crashes the app. It's easy to workaround though. Touch the display area; choose Settings, then turn off haptic feedback. (I am sure there will be a proper fix soon.)
