Category : Board
This is a good app, but it lacks one important feature: to edit a board without making it on a move-by-move fashion.
A very functional go program. Multiple board sizes. Free tsumego for all difficulty levels.
The white or green text in a lot of places is unreadable against the wood texture in the background.
Comes with some good sgfs for review, but I can't figure out how to load arbitrary sgf files :(
This is the best Go game with GNUGo engine
Cant istall gnu go to play. Please help!
Nothing to tell you how to play the game
Best SGF replaying app for android
For one reason, the last button and next move button are so too close together. still not fixed. accidentally mispressing the last button in the middle of reviewing a game ruined everything. so for a 200 moves game, i am reviewing it slowly to move 100, suddenly misclick last move button and i am now at move 200. how can i go back to move 101???
I want more tsumego! Edit: there's tons of tsumego! Thank you
Favorite free offline go study app. Reviewing pro games is easy and exploring commented trees are not intrusive. Has file storage so you know what you are opening. Easy links to download more problems, professional games, all for free. Unfortunately smaller problems, like scrolling through a comment will leave text in the background and scrolling creating a mess, and being particularly picky about sgf file format. Maybe I just need to learn to use sgf better...
SGF writer, huge database of pro games and commented games, lots of Tsumego problems (easy/med/hard) that update and links to various references. Also have a video tutorial for using the app. Apparently it includes a GNUGo bot to play against, but I've never played it. Not buggy and UI is decent too. All this for free and no adds. Thanks Ligi!
It would be all 5 star, esp for gameplay if you make feature to versus computer/ bot in different difficulties
I'm a complete novice, and this app is helping me learn. Thank you to the developer for the generosity and hard work.
Love it!!!
this game very slow? And how want play this game??Very very very bad
Great app The best I have find for Go so far. Apart from just playing Go, it also has many features that are very useful for learning the game and strategies. It has three levels for Tsumego (usually 1 to 5 moves strategy problems to solve), it also has recorded games of masters to study. Another big plus is the fact that it is Open Source. Also, the developer is very helpful and responds fast.
I would have found these MUCH sooner if they were listed on F-droid! How about some instructions? Maybe simple strategy? Alternate rules? EDIT: I found this app on F-droid (woo-hoo!!) where's the GNUgo add-on?? ..On F-droid.
In tsumego, taken stones with 0 liberties don't disappear, not possible to finish many problems, e.g. Easy #3. Maybe stops working if you backtrack or take hint.
When gnugo level 10 starts losing, it stops working. Otherwise, the app is ok for playing with friends.
The app seems way more stable than Elygo for example, and which is my hallmark for graphics, I wish you could implement better colors and other textures for the stones.
The best go app I have ever seen
Just a little question is any way to get tsumego in the app thanks!
Not easy to navigate sgf with variations. Love the concept of gobandroidTV but would be nice if the pause for reading the comentary is on the move itself, and not the one after it.
It have tsumego, it's have review, more important it allow u to play ai or 2play . No ads, I give u my respects😉
I cannot just load and view sgf with this app!
Biggest complaint is doesn't have landscape mode like screen sharing with my TV but it's small screen since app doesn't rotate. But other than that great app.
