The first app that will allow you to pay a bill with taking a week to send it. The plus is if you send it electronically it sends it in a few days, no cost to you. I've tried over 15 bill payment apps and most of them have to make your payment into a check and send it.
READ BEFORE INSTALLING! WARNING: THEY FALSIFY THEIR RATINGS DATA! Every rating is 0/5. Tried getting the Uber debit set up and ran into an appalling amount of problems, all of them saying I'm still not registered even after I registered. So I try to call them and their support is non existent, I waited 10 each time and they immediately hung up on me every time without even saying a word. Do NOT trouble yourself with this pathetic excuse for a bank app. Everyone thinks it's worthless.
If you lose your card, don't expect to access any funds till the card arrives. Don't use the in app chat feature as the app logs you out after ten minutes, reps seem aware and will use the time out. Companies that use plaid to verify the bank don't accept this bank. Wanna pair PayPal to the account? The two small verification deposits never show up. Calling gets you placed on hold and hung up on. Added May 23 22 "bank" refuses to transfer funds to one of my other accounts. Review Removed once.
Everything is quick and easy and love the back up balance feature. It's saved me several times.
Do not leave money in the card! Always transfer or cash out!! I had fraudulent charge on my account and process is ridiculous.. no temporary credit until min 10 days and really hard to follow up. I had issue before with other banks it was easy and smooth.. if uvget fraudulent charge with go bank good luck!!
I bought a GoBank card and tried several times to register it online at their website. I kept getting some "We are experiencing technical difficulties" message every time I got to the very end of the sign-up process. So I finally registered the card through this app and it work. I had to exit the app and reload it to refresh the ballance. For moment, I thought I got scammed. Fix your website please.
Atm situation is a pain sometimes but it's not too bad. The biggest issue is that it's not accepted by other apps like venmo, or cashapp.
Absolutely can not reach a human for assistance. I received my card and can not activate it. Im an Uber driver and they could not help me either.
Not particularly the service Savvy Bank I was hoping for when there was an issue they made me go through hoops and wait which created a very bad problem for me and my finances
This app helps me a lot. I love the backup. That $100 helps tremendously.

Only thing I don't like about this app is that it doesn't offer a way to contact customer service through a number or email. I've had issues with unknown companies taking money from my account and this bank doesn't seem to really care if you don't get it back. They do advance $100 if you have direct deposit and receive $1,000 monthly deposited. That does help in times your broke after paying bills.
Love this app. The backup balance has saved me so many times, no fees is such a relief. Convenient! Only issue with it is mobile check deposits take AT LEAST a week for the funds to appear. I think it would do them well to notify their users of this BEFORE they endorse and write "For Mobile Deposit Only" on the back of their check. The first time I deposited a check this way, I didn't know it would take so long, and was very frustrated that I then had no other option but to wait.
If you never have an issue then the app is great and easy, but if you do have an issue (like with a pending authorization not falling off) then they basically give you the middle finger and tell you to shove off. The help section in the app has a list of problems and you go down the line to find yours, but no matter what the problem is, the faq just says they can't do anything and call someone else. Customer service 1 out of 10. No number or email anywhere to contact them through the app either.
When I first got it, it was great, but I've had it now for 3 months: not-so-great. No cust service contact info, it doesn't always give the cashback rewards for purchases, and the "help" feature only gives you info about "stimulus check" deposits, nothing else. I haven't had to deal with cust svc yet, but after reading other's comments, I'm not looking forward to it. Not able to deposit checks thru app. I've had no problem getting/sending $$$ from my regular bank to/from this one.
I've been using this bank app for a few years now and at the beginning it was decent. But more often than not this app constantly kicks you out of the app without any notice and you cant access your funds that you have stored in the vault. I had to go many hours a few times without any money because the app randomly decides to shut down and tell you to log in later. And bonus, you cant get ahold of anyone in costumer service! I'm definitely switching to a new online bank card. Poor service indeed
Just turned HORRIBLE. I have used this banking app for several years with no issues at all. I actually preferred it over the app my big name bank uses. Just recently however they decided to take away the online bill pay feature from the mobile app. That was the best part of the whole thing. The bill pay was the best and easiest to use. So now to pay all my bills i have to log into an actual computer. From a PC you can still pay bills, but seriously.... what year is this??
Never had a problem with this app for years until this last update. Since this last update have had problems we ms getting no on. For the last two or three days I haven't even been able to log in at all getting error feedback. Have tried all hours of the day including the midde of the night. Once I got in long enough for a fast glance as it flipped back to error. I have enjoyed online banking but this is very aggravating to the point that I may move to another online bank.
This "bank" is garbage. Started off pretty average, but after a few months I had numerous days when I couldn't access my money from the vault. That feature is supposed to be an Instant transfer. The last few months my VA deposit keeps taking longer to post in my account. It's not possible to count on when you'll actuallt get paid. Then, to top it all off, when you call their customer service line after choosing the prompts to speak to a "gobank guide" the service hangs up on you. No email either.
The app has immediately crashed on launch since the Sept 6, 2021 update. All the typical troubleshooting procedures were performed: forcing a stop, clearing the cache & data, and reinstalling the app. Three emails sent to the help address listed under the developer contact have gone unanswered with not even an automated response. I cannot recommend this app. I will delete it and change banks if this is not corrected by October 6, 2021.
The app is ok. My only problem is that when you deposit a check it takes for ever to clear. At least 7 days.
Horrible if your an uber driver. I got my card 3 weeks ago and both uber and go bank can not fix the linking. I gave them 3 weeks to fix the issue so I can do free cash outs. But they both say they can't so at this point they lost customers because I had a few people I was gonna refer. They clearly don't care about customer satisfaction.
I like the app. I just wish there was ac way easy to request a new card through the app since mine is falling apart. The process to dispute a charge is convoluted too. You can't just flag it in the app. You have do download a form and send it to them. It feels like they make it just difficult enough so people don't bother. Overall it's a good app as long as you don't need assistance with your account.
Very convenient! I love that I can even hold my money back (in the 'Vault') . One day, I didn't have enough money in my account, so I hurried to transfer my money from the vault to my account. It took seconds, if that. It was immediately there! I did everything on their app, which is super easy to use. I have NOTHING bad to say about this bank. They've even helped improving my credit score. I'd you're looking for a change - use this bank!! I hope I've helped you decide on something great!
Nothing is ever up to date or correct in the app. Everything is always pending. I havent had access to any of the money I put in this bank for days each time and every time I refresh the transactions or balance it changes. There is no way of knowing where your money is at or how much you have or when it will be available. Not one single transaction in almost 2 weeks now has come out of pending status.
I had an unrecognized charge and tried to file a dispute through the app but it does not let you. It gives you a number to call and go through an automated voice message, then finally gives you the option to connect with an operator only for them to hang up on you 3 times without saying a word, but you can hear them in the background of the call. Terrible service. Take your money elsewhere.
