Combining daily Scripture with applicable readings of prose and poetry brings personal insights of those long ago with our needs today. God's Word is never worn but always applicable, then and now.
I think this book (and app) is very helpful for anyone, especially Christians. I highly recommend the app.

It's great, easy reading, but it would be nice to have the NKJV option.
Short, reflective little prayers to start your day or indeed to reflect on for a minute or two at any point during the day. Mindfulness and peace 😊

A simple way to start the day with a spiritual reading....makes you realize you are never alone when you make the Lord part of your daily life.

I think it's a interesting way staying focused on God daily.
The devotional have a scripture from the bible but the content after bible verse is a quote from someone, NOT God's Word.

I really like the app, well designed, and lovely images. the only thing that isn't 5 stars for me has to do with the content, not the app creator. Some books of the apocrypha are used as "scriptures"... not commenting either way, but other users may want to know.
