Gogogate 2 -Open garage door-

Great app and product, but the most annoying thing is that ever since my phone upgrade to Android 10, notifications don't work, which used to be the most useful feature. I complained about this quite some time ago and it still hasn't been fixed. I was hoping the latest update would fix it, but it hasn't. A lot of other apps work great with notifications on Android 10, so I know it can be done. The email notifications still work, but I really want the Android system notifications.

Does exactly what you would expect it to do. Shows the state of the garage door, open or closed and allows you to change the state. The only things that would improve the app are; 1. The ability to set a threshold check, perhaps hourly that would alert me if the door was open. 2. The integration of the gogate camera functions and alerts into the same app.

Once working it's great but as others have said here you can't use the Android app to configure the Gogogate on an updated modern Android device. I had to use a PC and the Java app to configure. Once done it all worked flawlessly. I found an old Galaxy S7 and I was able to use that to test inital configuration and it work, but back to a new Pixel2 and it just won't configure it. Once configured it will work on all the phones I tried. This app needs some major updating but love that I can now use my phone, IFTTT and Google assistant to open and close the roller door.

Worthless app is supposed to allow me to open or close my garage door via smartphone. It came with my garage door opener, and there is no documentation. It won't communicate properly with my wifi router, which is how it is supposed to set itself up. Oh, and the website gives 404 errors, no telephone number. They maybe out of business...also installed pop up ads on my phone, even when I wasn't using the app.

I like the device and achieves what I need it to do. The app is meh and very basic. Would be nice if it had Android auto support so you can use you AA touch screen to initiate opening door vs using the phone.

Works reliably.. Strange interface on Web pages when you set it up. Excellent google home support, but you need to print out (or have a 2nd mobile device handy) to make setup easier..

App is outdated and does not perform install with newer Android versions and older versions are unreliable. Each device is also a unique account so IFTTT integrations are limited to a single device if you have multiple devices.

i,ve been using this app and hardware for almost 2 years now and im pleased. i just encounterd (my first issue selft inflected but google found" the resolution is posted on line - a reset will resolve my forgotten password issue. IT, just works opening snd closing my garage doors on wifi or cell and provides door status for me

Frequent False Reports. The app is constantly telling me that my garage door is open when it isn't. When you open the app the door status also shows as open. When you go to close the garage door, if it's already closed it will actually open. So if you are away and get a warning that the door is open when it's not, when you go to close it, you will actually open it for anyone to get in. You will have no idea that this is happening. The end result is actually worse than no device at all

my app always shows a connection error for the doors and i never know if a door is open or closed by looking at the app because they always appear red. is there a fix or update for this. i would give this 5 stars if it worked. the concept is great but for now it deserves 1 star.

Works to run the initial configuration. Doesn't connect via the app after that on wireless or remote access. Better off using the remote web access and IFTTT.

No longer getting notifications when door is open or closed since the last update. Otherwise, the app works well and is good.

App does not work. Crashes and support thinks it's an issue with WiFi connectivity to the controller but the website of the controller works. Buy something else

Arbitrarily stopped allowing remote access, but within a day or two of this review, they pushed out a firmware update and now it works as well as ever!

As a result of new up date system stopped working. Getting-Timed out indication..if it ain't broke dont fix it!!

ive had issues witht this since i got it as a present. now the app just says the garage is always closed. might have to just replace this.

Easy to use, easy to add users, easy to control users access. Program allows you control your door from anywhere.

Excellent companion app for the gogogate2, works exactly as advertised but greedy to require a subcription for the video plugin.

Works great, there can be issues when it won't connect but turning the device off and on fixes it

Update seems to have fixed Android 9 notification problem. Great!

Couldn't be without this app. It gives me so many benifits as well as knowing if i have closed the garage door

Combine this with Google assist and IFTTT and voila! Love this product, easy install. Use it everyday.

Good up to 3/9/19 when the app stopped updating logs or image if door is open or shut.

Great app and product. I was in China and was able to open the garage in Utah to allow someone access.
