Gokstad: Norse Strategy

I was very excited to try this game, yet once I started playing it I was disappointed almost instantly. I read some other reviews and saw that perhaps having a newer phone/device would help. I have a s9plus and yet on multiple attempts to play the game I sit waiting for the AI is "thinking" for 10 minutes and nothing happening. I really hope something could be done to fix this. I look forward to giving this great game concept a second chance.

I wanted to like this, graphically this is the best looking version, but my complaints are this, first of all the center square (the kings throne) has no effect as a hostile square, that would be like coding a chess program with no castling, an important rule of the game is the center square, you seemed to make it right with the corner squares being hostile, so fix the center. The auto connect to google play services is annoying and unwanted, the AI has no intelligence, Lack of custom rules.

Wow! I had no idea what to expect and this ends up being such a great game! Deceptively simple rules that really require strong strategy to win. In the strategy family with chess, checkers, backgammon, but without the complex ramp up time for rules. You'll love this game!

I have been looking for this game with a tutorial forever! I'm so glad I found this, I started playing right away and love it. This is the best version I have seen. Thanks for making this game. There are a few Viking dice games that would be nice to see someone make into an app. Update: My initial love for this game has increased as I've been playing. You won't be disappointed if you download this amazing game. Thank you again to all involved in making this the way it should be!

AI needs difficulty setting. It becomes far too simple after a bit. Also AI glitches hard in tawlbyund and fitchneal tablut. Otherwise seems to run well and its been long awaited. Thank you and Ill rerate when things veg bett egg

Very well made game! I have wanted to learn how to play this game for quite some time, but I didn't know anybody that played, and couldn't find an online game with a tutorial. Its very easy to learn but you will never get so good at playing it that you can't learn more.

its a good version of the game, just needs more levels of difficulty. sometimes the king even surrender himself.

Game looks great and it's smooth, only issue is the online portion doesn't work which tells me the servers are offline and this may not be supported anymore.

I love the game but I haven't been able to actually finish one. Every game the AI will eventually just freeze up and never make another move

fun game, but glitchy. AI gets stuck, game crashes, repeat move warning without repeating moves.

beautiful game, when I first clicked on it it looked good from the start and I wasn't disappointed playing it 10 stars you should be proud of yourselves.

Good game but please add Copenhagen Ruleset which is the standard tournament rules for Hnefatafl 11x11 because the "Shield Wall" and "Exit Fort victory condition for defenders" , "Surround victory condition for attackers" brings more balance to gameplay.

I really enjoyed the game and appreciated the graphics, game play is also smooth.
