Buying premium seats in the app is not possible and in the website has numerous bugs, I had 8 to buy and took me 2h. After booking and receiving the confirmation email, the seats weren't changed in the app and boarding passes, had to go to a counter in the airport, show the email and wait 20 minutes for them to fix the problem. Not to mention other bugs in the app, like having to fill all the data every time. For me Gol is the worst airline in Brazil currently.
The app is heavy and data hungry, what makes it slow even when running on fastest phones available. The check in process does not save data and you have to enter the same data everytime. It also could have a better UI as the actual takes you through more steps than needed. Finally it seems the animated transitions between screens could be eliminated to make it faster and lighter.
Terrible app. Doesnt communicate with their own website where you can do the chek in but not on the app. You can add a trip but then tells you to go back to a web site pc. It crashes all the time. Honestly it does a lot of harm to the company. I frequently choose another flight just because of this horrible app.
Despite Gol is a good company, it hasn't been a compensating experience. Lot of glitches, without any updating of next trip. I prefer using the website.
You can keep the overview of your trips and see the time. But that's about it. E.g. when checking amount of luggage it crashes and redirects to the website (which doesn't work either). In general, the interface is confusing and lacks basic information.
App can not be put into English very disappointing as ive no idea in Portuguese
So, the new app arrives. I don't know why I thought it would be better. I checked in online, received my boarding pass then from then on, the app AND site said I had no booking and I was unable to change anything. Arriving at the airport I'm told there are technical problems. Isn't this what was supposed to be fixed? I actually like the airline and staff but again, I'm beyond disappointed with the digital aspect of the airline. :(
App doesnt close at all (always running on background). It has a terrible interface and doesnt allow any changes in checkin. It was impossible to checkin via app (had to use website). Never had such a terrible experience with an airline app as this one. Really disappointed.
challenging app. runs badly in background even when not in use after restart. difficult to navigate. Personal details not stored well and don't easily allow air miles transfer, check in etc. needs to be simpler, straight forward and not apply rules to international travelers that aren't required by local national government or by international aviation authority. look to other flight apps that get give star reviews. would have sent this as feed back but not an option in the app.
The app is very useful but I don't understand why I have to re-enter my details every time I fly. I would give it 5 stars if they fixed that. My name, gender, documents, frequent flyer miles number etc. are details that don't change yet I have to manually enter them every time I fly. Other than that it's a good app.
Crashes and can never finish my check-in. It keeps crashing.
Always freezes (using latest version as of 14 Feb 2019). Cannot switch between pages once boarding pass is received. Lighting on boarding pass is set at strong and cannot be altered. Have uninstalled and reinstalled app countless times, needing to do so in order to check in. The buggiest airline app I have ever used.
I rate it a 1 star because every time you switch to another screen to copy a number to fill in, the whole checking process start over again. Another thing is the order of countries. Netherlands is mentioned between the 'H' because maybe the programmers thought most people think it's Holland. And there are more countries mixed (not alphabetic).
The worst airlines app and we site I have used in my life, the checkin process gives errors when choosing seats but proceeds, then it said "baggage purchased" but when I check after the checkin was complete I HAD NO BAGGAGE CHECKED, NOW I AM PRETTY SURE I AM GONNA PAY AT THE AIRPORT. WORST of all is that if I want to change the seats..... It logs me out???????? I'm never flying on this airline ever again
Terrible app. Slow, cumbersome, cannot checkin if you dont pay fees that are not due (ie comfort seats), super slow to do checkin, does not remember any settings. Contacted Gol for support and did not get any. This app is free advertising for the other airlines...
The app does it's job. It's somewhat slow though. The country ordering is not localized, even though the names are displayed in English, the Netherlands is among the countries that start with H, which is quite annoying as it took a while for me to find it.
Ridiculous user interface. Error messages in amateurish English. List of countries completely out order. Password rules are not shown, so you have to guess and try several times before you succeed. Time-out, didn't manage to add trip or create user.
Não encerra e fica rodando em segundo plano, não salva os dados e tem de informar tudo de novo, não é intuitivo. Don't stop and keeps running on the background, don't keep the form input and you have to write them again every time, not intuitive.
Check-In with the app was slow, gate and other flight information was not updated on the boarding pass and there was no option to send the pass to Google Pay. In sum, the app was significantly inferior and more cumbersome to use than what's offered by other airlines worldwide.
The app is very simple to use but the splash is screen takes too long. Probably because there is a very heavy processing happening behind. That should be optimized.
This app must be the worst airline app bar none. it constantly gets stuck executing without proceeding to the next step. I long ago gave up trying to use the app to buy tickets. These people are so primitive they can't even take your money without errors. For some reason their website manages to do a check-in without major drama, but the app fails about every third time i try to use it for something so simple as checkin. Brazilians are capable of better than this pathetic mediocrity.
Do nada o app consumiu 20% da bateria em menos de dias horas, sem fazer nada, sem que eu tivesse ativado, sem transmitir ou receber dados. Só percebi o celular esquentando. Out of the blue the app consumed 20% of battery in less Tha 2hs, doing nothing, sending out receiving nothing, I hadn't used it for days. I just realized because the mobile got very hot.
It's been almost 3 months since the system change and still nothing works as expected. Online check-in not working, booked flights disappearing from the account, can't choose my seats. It's a shame on the airline that first modernized the Brazilian aviation market!
The seat selection error is unbearable. While doing a check in for a direct flight for one person it keeps giving me the error that I can't finish because I need to choose all seats. Doesn't make any sense.
App doesn't work properly. It is impossible to complete a check in, always crashing when we are being transferred to choose the seats. Really impossible!!!
Needs work still, the app doesnt save your checkin data even though everything is stored in your profile, so you have to manually add it every time, also it is constantly down and you end up using the web version
The app keeps crashing everytime I try to check in. I tried checking in online on the website but you guys wouldn't because apparently I'm 16, even though I stated my birthday to be in 1993. Fix your system! It's embarrassing you guys are one of the big airlines in Brazil. I'm sure I will be charged a hefty fee for luggage now because I didn't but it online when it's your systems fault!
