The workouts are fine - so far, 4 stars for those. The music? It sucks. Bad. I can't get into my workout when there's only one good song on a playlist and I'm skipping through the rest...until I come back to that one song. Every current hit is a remix, there's only 1 good hard rock. So far, the only playlist that has had more than 1 good song is the classic rock station. I love classic rock, but it's not workout music for me. Honestly, the app needs a way to link your regular music player in because otherwise, I can't see myself keeping this after the gyms open back up from the Coronavirus. I just can't get into my workouts.

Long list of problems 1) it keeps running in the background, even after I close it out, so I have to use my device to force quit. 2) It doesn't save my login. I tried starting a workout and it made me sign up again. Once I went into Google play, it recognized I had a subscription, but one shouldn't have to sign in there. 3) No previews. I have to actually start a workout to see what the movements will be. Annoying and long 4) many workouts are now missing the video guidance, which used to be..

This is one of the best apps I've worked out with. The trainers on here are pleasant to hear...real voices not a computer talking to you and the exercises hit every level of experience. Then comes the customer service. I had an issue with my bank canceling my card and I forgot to update....I was unable to use the app. I contacted customer service and they worked it out with me and kept me updated on what and where they were with fixing my issue. Great app, great, attentive customer service.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! I had previously enjoyed the app but after reinstalling and renewing my membership, I immediately had technical issues. I was never able to use the app because it kept saying I was not a paying member though it definitely charged my card. I tried contacting support who was not able to resolve my issue and then claimed to have forwarded my email to the main office, that was a month ago and no one ever got in touch with me. I am now looking for a full refund.

Downloaded to use. Great until the trial expired. I'm not a gold's gym member and had to use the other option. Choosing the non sub option resulted in no sub to the service. Tried multiple things to fix (uninstall/reinstall, rebooted phone, on network and Wi-Fi) it just keeps saying cannot connect to Google play. Clearly I'm in Google play right now writing this review. If you guys want to make money off this app you should fix this issue asap.

DO NOT BUY THIS! I have been trying to cancel this subscription for months. The "cancel membership" feature from the app does not work. It brings up an error message with a link to a "how to cancel" on the Gold's page. The instructions for Android and for Members do not work. I have emailed customer service several times for them to only link me to the same page. I have also called their 800 number multiple times, but it is always busy. They continue to charge me. It is a scam!

I absolutely love using this app with my workouts. kinda wish you could save playlist mixes and that the music showed in the notification bar at the top of the phone, but my over all use with the app has been so great that I don't care too much. I wish the coaches/instructors at the gym played music from GoldsAmp but my Coach didn't seem to know about it.

I contacted the developer immediately when I was greeted with two subscription charges immediately. I was told this would be resolved. It was not. Terrible App. Glitchy UI & billed twice for it immediately when attempting to sign up for free terms per instructions given to me by Golds for the coronavirus shutdown.

I have been trying to cancel this subscription since the week I downloaded it. The app glitches and times out and the routines are repetitive. Customer service said it was cancelled and then I was charged again, states that I have to request refund through Google instead of them. The cancel subscription button does not work and prompts you to contact customer service, but then they say you need to cancel with Google. Just don't download it, it's not worth it.

Got the app for free since Gold's is closed due to Covid-19. I would be angry if I paid for such a glitchy app. The workouts are either not loading for me or they suddenly stop in the middle, or the music stops, or the coaching and direction stops but the timer keeps going. I happy Golds offered an alternative, but this app is not doing the job.

Every time I open the app, I am not considered a premium user. I have to uninstall the app completely and reinstall it to sign back in. Even then many times I get downgraded again during the workout. I have battled this for too long. I'm canceling my membership and moving on.

My review is basically what everyone has been saying. The app continuously keeps telling me to sign up for a premium account when I'm already subscribed. Only work around I found is to unsubscribe then re-do the whole process. The workouts are good and the app would be wonderful to use, but clearly Golds Gym (or whoever is in charge of the technical side of things) doesn't care.

They advertised a free membership to those with a Golds Gym membership, however I was charged 2 times. I contacted the support team for a refund and to cancel my subscription where they told me I had to do it through Google. Google does not show their app under my subscriptions current or historical and their support did not see it either. I had to go through my bank to stop all payments! Their customer support was terrible to work with and I never should have been charged in the first place.

I was previously told to use a link provided in an email to use the promo (I was already signed up for Amp before that). I did as instructed and got a screen saying all was good to go and was still unable to access any workout. Now, google charged me $10 thru my google wallet because I inadvertently clicked free trial while I was struggling with the other button to even sign me in as an existing member. Then... after getting charged the $10 I still can't even access any workouts. Please rectify

Could be great if it worked consistently. Music stops mid song till you click back into the app and then it will start again. Nothing worse than being mid set and your music go off. I love the music mixes and the workouts are nice just not consistent.

the free trial was great.. not the best but i needed extra help... but after my debit card was charged the app stop working.... i email customer support I'm waiting now.. but i find it unfair that I'm being charged a fee when i haven't been able to use it since the free trial ended... NOT HAPPY

I love the workouts and the meditation. The descriptions aare very good and levels of intensity seem to be spot on. I am fairly picky about my music but don't find the preplanned music for the routines annoying in the least.

I really do enjoy this app! It has a few bugs and it freezes, but it is relatively new and that's bound to happen. The workouts give me focus when I don't really feel like pushing myself. I moved to an area that doesn't have a Gold's Gym and I am definitely missing this app. Can I purchase this app without a gym membership?

I was a paying customer for months and really enjoyed the service. One day upon opening the app it prompted me to sign up again, didn't recognize my subscription, and denied access to the workouts. Really pissed me off when I just wanted to workout. Literally unusable.

If you get bored with monotonous daily exercises, use this app. The application has many different exercises for you to choose from, especially, music from iTunes is a miracle to help you practice hard.

The notification won't disappear even if you swipe it away or click on the "x" to close it or close the app from the list of most recently used apps. The only way to make it disappear after you've stopped using the app is to go to settings and force the app to stop. Besides that, I like it.

The app is fine when it works, I use the bodyweight workouts and like them (though it would be nice to mix that cardio with weights), but the app has logged me out and I keep getting an error message when I try to log back in. I restarted my phone, redownloaded the app, but nothing is working

I love golds gym and this app is decent...however, i never would have signed up if i knew it was going to be so hard to cancel. I tried to cancel through the app itself but i keep getting an error message. And the customer service has been useless. I guess my next step is to go to golds gym and see if they can cancel it...if not, i guess i will report it to my bank and get them to stop payment

This app works about half the time. I have paid for this for months, and it is so frustrating that it keeps not recognizing my membership. When it works, I like it. But what a waste of time to stand around trying to get the stupid thing to play the workouts. It keeps telling me to sign up for a free trial. Ridiculous.
