Still doesn't tell me the time anymore on the app and I have uninstalled and reinstalled it. You can't talk to someone except email which is a huge inconvenience! It's a constant back and forth which could be fixed or done in a 5min phone conversation. It's been about a year that this app has went downhill. I see where the car moves but the time doesn't show anymore and I need it especially when my daughter has my car!
So far I am impressed with it ability to alert me to problems. The thing is, for the price of the service. Your systems should be able to do a whole of less lot more. For example more diagnostics, remote key with smartphone to remote 🔐 or unlock, and or start the vehicle. If you going to be an alternative to OnStar you should match or bet what they offer.
Best app ever I love that it's accurate and you can see where your car is, when it got there, when it leaves there, it tells you the exact times of arrival and departure shows the full address and businesses in the area, you can even change settings to notify you of speeding, or if your vehicle leaves the designated area you chose for a geofence to set to. It even tells you if your battery is low and what the wattage is! Best app ever you won't be disappointed!
App has been stuck on April 7 and hasn't updated. I emailed customer support and they asked for my log in information to see what I see. I emailed screenshots of what I see in the app. Never got a response. I emailed again with screenshots and still haven't heard anything. What's the point in paying for a service if the app associated with it doesn't work?
Not worth wasting money on. It only tells you where your car parks & it's not even accurate with that. If your car is moving it won't tell you where it is & you can only see your 3 most recent stops. I don't know I just hoped for something more useful than this. Very disappointed =(
This app is awesome! To be able to know exactly where your car is at at all times is truly a blessing. If someone steals it, you can use this app to get it right back! (So make sure you make your normal car payments on time lol- if that applies to you, I'm guessing dealerships could use this app to make repo easy if they ever need to). It does make life feel a little more like gta online with being able to use a gps to find your car lol. Geofences with notifications are awesome too!
I hate this app. It works when it wants to which is rare. Makes me mad that I am PAYING for this "service" when I got my car from the dealership. When I first got my vehicle they were using a different GPS app that worked great. This one is nothing but trouble. Never updated the cars status. Showing my car is still on the freeway for 5 hours and been home for 4 hours already. If you have a choice, don't pick this one.
Yo this app is really perfect. It says where the cats at, all times. Set speed notifications and all that jazz. It's really worth it, it tells you the batteries info if it's low. I really recommend the app 110%!
This app keeps me informed about my vehicle whenever I want updates and need notifications. My vehicle's battery was low and wouldn't start; sure enough, I received a notification. I thought I was going to need an alternator, but it's my battery.
Its does not know where my car is or where its actually been. Went to check my trips and it said that I've only been home once in a week and only show like two places I've actually been in the past week. Compared to the actual like 10+ places I've gone in that week. I'm actually sitting at home now with the car in the drive way and it says it's at a place I went like 2-3days ago. Horrible app and security service.
70% of the time, the app performs as it should. However the remainder of the time the app fails to locate and doesn't inform you when the vehicle enters or exits marked areas. Contact Goldstar about it and they will reset it and then the app functions flawlessly for about a week. I have had this system now for 9 months. When it works, it is very beneficial. Overall it is not a bad system but could use some improvements.
