Golf Frontier - Golf GPS
Golf Frontier GPS is a premium golf application for your Android device. So much more than a golf GPS rangefinder, in addition to knowing the distance to the green and hazards from anywhere on the course, you can use the application to track scores for your group, record your statistics, and calculate your golf handicap. It's the only golf app you will ever need!
5 course downloads are provided with the app for free to test drive the application. To receive unlimited downloads, the applications must be unlocked (which can be done directly from the app home screen).
Over 30,000 golf courses are currently available for download and more are being added every day (visit http://www.golffrontier.com/GPSCourseMaps.aspx for a list of currently mapped courses). If your course is not already listed in the directory, then you can either create a map for the course online at http://www.golffrontier.com using our powerful online editing tools, or send us an email and we will map it for you. Unlike other apps, there is never any additional charge to download courses.

Golf Frontier Features Include:
- Easy to understand and read view of all targets for the current hole with Carry and/or Reach distances clearly specified.

I have enjoyed playing Golf Frontier for twelve or more years. I just use the distance. I had a little problem with it when I got a new phone. I like the set up. My problem has been corrected.
This does work offline but very inaccurate. On some tee boxes, GPS shows plus or minus 20 yards. That's a 3 or 4 club spread. Also, app has not been updated in 6 years and several newer courses in my area are not mapped. I bought the premium version and requested mapping support but my emails have not been answered.
Have love the app for years, but it's time to update your app to work with the new smart phones. I hope the update is in your works already Cheers and once again great app on the phone
even when uninstalling the app and re- installing, the yardage is not correct when the phone screen times out. I didn't have this problem 3 months ago. fix the problem
Phone auto updated to new version now I'm not able to keep score while playing Keep getting error, It will work without scoring needs to be fixed

This is the best and easiest gps especially the nil cost for 5 courses and only a few dollars to upgrade to multiple courses.
It worked OK last year. But after Android pie update it will no longer work. Uninstalling.
Good app! My only complaint is the apparent inability to save only 9 holes after starting 18.

Paid for the extra golf coarse download switched phones and now they want me to pay for the downloads again for this device.

Had a problem with this app today not being able to display the map screen. Reported it this afternoon & within one hour I had a reply to say the problem had been fixed. John thanked me for reporting the issue. I don't think you could get better service than this from a provider. Thanks again for your help
Not bad, but since I've paid for the app it isnt very accurate. One course I golfed was 40 yards off every hole. This last course I golfed wasn't that bad, but still of a little. I guess will see later after golfing a few more courses. May come back with a worse rating, or maybe better. Only time will tell.
Painstakingly taken 3 days to map my home course Saujana G&CC, added score cards (blue, red tee box) download repeatedly to test. Hit trial download limit, can't continue, did not even get to use my new map. Revenue should be generated from other means like ads in app, restricting advance feature etc. Anyway, the mapping program is awesome, I had fun adding features to my course.. since I can't use it, bye and good luck! How can I delete my map and score card?!
I was hoping that this app wasn't.good but.Unfortunately it prove me worng the designer or designers that created this really put some thought into it. Is very user friendly. The app works great I love the stats layout.very accurate distance. Lets be real no gps is going to be spot on. But the accuracy is 2-3 yards off, to be expected. There are 3 other apps out there like this one the only fault is stats for distance of putt made it doesn't give a summary of it after the round has ended. But fantastic job.
Could you adapt this app so we can see it in a panoramic view in tablet devices?. I got the pro version and have had the app installed in my Samsung S4 without any problems but once I tried it in my tablet Galaxy S device I could not use it in a panoramic view and that is very unconfortable. By the other hand I tried to attach my Rsi1 TaylorMade Irons but these clubs does not appear in the list inside the app. Thanks
I like the app, my brother told me about it. It keeps many stats and gives me the feedback I need to improve. I'm very precise with yardages for each club and shot type I'm playing, and for me the gps distances have been very good. Another feature that is cool is the ability to share scores and stats with other golfers of my choosing. 👍👍👍
