This app does what is supposed to do which is excellent. I have one niggle which needs to be sorted. I play at Walmer and Kingsdown GC where hole 1 misbehaves itself. Initially the tee position and flag were reversed but now they are both in the middle of the fairway a mere 16 yards apart! I would like the ability to be able to move the tee positions to cater for occasions when the green keepers have placed the Tees because of maintenance. Otherwise I am quite happy with it.
I started using this when my golf buddy GPS died. I really like the large-screen you I get on the phone in brilliant color and it uses very little battery. It would be perfect if it automatically updated to the next tee. But, in general, I think it's great
Quick to show course position and range to centre of green. Long press on screen will give split range to selected point and then green, though this feature is a bit slow to react to long press. Overall it's good and easy to use. I like it.
All functions r great. No need mention any more. But Need to improve only one thing. Hard to see course on screen at outdoor on sunny day. Some times i can't see anything. If screen is almost black, it doesn't need any good fuctions.
Nothing fancy. Simple to use. Gives accurate yardage to center of green. That's all I need. And so far hasn't blocked the screen trying to sell me upgrades. Only improvement I might suggest would be yardage to front, back, and ctr of green. Otherwise, leave it alone! 😀
Good app. I think it complies with the rules. Sometimes the picture doesn't load, but this can be avoided if you open the course rangefinder before your round with WiFi.
Every golf club I've played so far has been in the database although some are a little outdated. As I High handycaper it seems to have everything I need. Not sure if it would suit a seasoned player. But it suits me fine.
At first, this app worked great. But lately it has stopped working smoothly. The app shows a message after each check of yardage and then goes back to hole 2. This wastes time and is annoying.
I love the app yardage and how it gives you the lay out of the course. I would love to see it show the green slopes alittle and maybe the fairway level change as well i think that would put this app over the top!
I use this app to estimate distance to any point along the course. Helps me a lot in club selection. Excellent app.
This is the best free range finder on the market. What ever improvements you make will be great but if you don't its ok. Anyone complaining probably can't find themselves around the clubhouse. Great app. Thanks
This app easy to use and meets all of my needs. Courses can be downloaded quickly; the app is accurate, completely functional on the course without using mobile data.
Excellent App. I have tried many apps this is the one. I have only used it 3 times it shows the holes clearly and does not require an internet connection after the courses are downloaded
I really enjoy using this app. Faster and easiler to use my range finder out on the course. Measures the same distance as my range finder. Would like to see what the par is for each hole.
I have used this app for over a year and love it. GPS is very accurate and planning target distance is made easy.
Awesome range finder and easy to use. You'll need a descent cell phone reception, but otherwise, a great app.
Amazing app! Very easy to use. Even if i can't find the usage instructions. May have been designed for quick self learning so instructions not needed.
Constantly getting wrong yardage. When simply standing at the courses known yardage markers or standing with others who also have gps this app is at times 10 to 15 yards off. The app keeps shutting down.
Graphics are spot on. Loaded my local courses and away i went. Really helps playing courses with limited distance markings.
Very useful no frills rangefinder which is generally very good. Lost a star as occasionally course image wont appear, although ranging information does.
used to be a good app, & used to not have ads but they have started appearing, covering the greens and accidently hit them when trying to find distances to hazards... losing stars and a user

For a free app, it is absolutely brilliant. i was also pleasantly surprised when I requested a course not on the app and it was uploaded a few days later. Love it.

App description implies course info downloaded before playing however if no internet access on the course then no course images displayed - just yardage to the green. Needs mobile data to work properly - not good.
I have been using this app on iPhone for a few years. Love how easy it is to record yardage for each club with map graphic review of each shot recorded. Very easy to record scores. intuitive interface. Would like to see index info for each hole. Even has small community course in rural western australia. Able to use google maps for uncharted courses. Thumbs up from me. Recently changed to Android and very disappointed that there is no scorecard or club distance selector.
