Very Glitchy when trying to enter score that is not default such as a 5 in a par 4 - 5 strikes 2 putts... unable to hit Save Score... tried changing chip shots/fairway etc still no joy... cancel and then try to enter default score (par) and saves fine. Absolutely useless to use for scoring and unable to turn off scoring in the middle of a round - couldn't even exit without saving if round was incomplete... RESPONSE TO DEVELOPER... What I'm supposed to be able to do and what I was able to do
Great and easy to use. If I played more I'd pay for the premium option but for now the free version is spot on. One course was different to the score card, sent the details over an updated within 48 hours. Excellent response. Keep up the great work.
The premium app is the only way to go. With that being said, having a difficult time getting premium app working once reinstalling the app. Still unable to reset my password. This app is far superior to Golflogix. No problems loading, keeping score is easy. I only reccomend adding enhanced features to the satellite view and adding more options to the driving options, such as block, pull, top, short, etc.
Great app, the free features are nice but if you want the full potential you have to pay. *Update* they just added the shot distance to free features!
Upgrading to 5 stars since I have become more familiar with using the app. Probably really deserved a 5 but it can be a little clunky to use at times. I'm sure I wouldn't have so much trouble if I used it more, and if I actually paid for a subscription. But our season can be short in Michigan so why pay for 12 months when you're lucky if you get to golf for 5.
As a subscriber I would expect a little more consistency while on the course. I find the wind calculation is really bad. You can feel the wind blowing and it shows, zero wind! Also the layout of the course is not consistent with other apps. Overall, pretty disappointing
It was very close to the GPS system on the cart. Only problem I had it had a delay from Tee Box to my drive a few times. I like it and just got it and plus the other day.
For a free app it's very good compares well to a SkyCaddie for the GPS. I purchase the premium and the Club selection the wind direction everything is very helpful my scores are steadily dropping
Lots of courses to choose from but a little glitchy on yardage accuracy when comparing to golf mates using same app. Love it though.
App works great on my phone, not so much on my Galaxy watch 4. Tried everything to get it to work but it doesn't. Used the trouble shooting tools on the swingu site but they didn't work
It does not show my correct handicap and there's no way I can edit it. I find Miscore far more user friendly.
Awesome app, easy to use and usually accurate within about 3 yards depending on your cell service.
Great app. Accurate. Good Google Earth satellite view. Highly recommend. Should really be a 4.5 Stars, as only thing I don't like is it's sometime slow to respond.
Updated April 2022- for some reason ever since I bought the PAID Version of this app about 4 or so months ago it will not read the hole for me to enter my score or my partners score. I thought maybe it was just a glitch and let it go for a bit but it has not fixed itself I have to manually enter every hole which takes a lot of time. It also takes away from the fun of the game and defeats the purpose of this app let alone the paid version... BTW it worked fine at our regular course for free! :-(
I have been using this app for over 5 years. Recently after an update it won't adjust the scorecard at the green like it used too or move on to the next hole.
I have had this app for over a year. I finally decided to pay for premium and I still get ads and no additional features. I have verified payment and subscription, logged out and back in, updated the app. Really wish I could get it to work because I don't want to give a bad review but I'm getting a little frustrated.
I love the app! Lately it has been acting up. But what I'm not happy about is I have premium and it went up to $60!! Last year I paid $30. Dont see what the extra $30 is for. But my main complaint is you just charged me $60! I know I know it's Auto pay.But a courtesy email text letter something stating that instead of just taking it and not a word! Not at all customer friendly!!! A $30 credit towards next year would be a start! Thanks. Update. Adam with swingu made it right. Thx Adam
Worked perfectly until an upgrade to a more expensive version became available, now the GPS doesn't work. I've been in contact with uswing for over 2 months and still hasn't been rectify. I WOULD NOT recommend this app at all.
Probably my favorite range finder app based on features. My problem is with the performance moving the map around. Images lag terribly on my OnePlus 8 Pro with 5G speeds. Same problem I've experienced when I first tried the app some 2 years ago.
Absolutely love this app, however the last time I played a round the wind direction was completely wrong compared to where it was actually blowing, therefore the plays like yardages were incorrect the whole time, hope this gets fixed soon!
Been using this app for a while and it's great. Only problem is I have a new home course and the layout is wrong. Can't fix or even figure out how to report the problem. If they could fix that 5 starts no problem
I recently switched from Apple to Android. I bought a Samsung smartwatch specifically to use with my Premium SwingU account. Unfortunately, the experience is not even close to being the same as it was on the Apple Watch. First, the Par number is cut off on the samsung watch. Ive tried adjusting font sizes but it does nothing. Secondly, the Android SwingU watch app does not show me my recommended clubs. This was the single most useful feature as a paid customer. The Apple watch displayed it.
Good as a scorecard and taking distance readings from the phone, could be better. Main gripe with this app is it only gives distance from GPS on the phone. When I'm on the tee box and my phone is in my trolley, some 30 yards in front of me, the readings are obviously not accurate! This is, of course, if the app hasn't gone to sleep on my phone which means the watch app doesn't connect to give me distances. Rendering the watch app pointless, shame. Setting the phone app not to sleep doesn't help.
