Great when it works. After a few rounds the maps would stop loading especially on the green heat maps. Very irritating.

I have used this app for 7+, years and have always loved it. Always thought it was cost effective especially because you would get a discount on golfnow for every tee time. Now they just recently doubled the annual subscription.

I have been using this app for many years. Initially I used the free app and then went on to the premium version. Because I wan't using many of the features, I went back to the free version but the constant pop up ads were distracting me from my game. I paid the subscription to remove the ads but now the problem is the amount of time it takes for the app to pick up the satellites. The numbers come up all over the place and often the final result is inaccurate. It's not the recent Samsung phone

Old review: Worked great for me yesterday on course. Galaxy note 20 ultra. Responded to mapping request in about 2 months. Just wish they would develop a watch app companion. Updated review: this app frequently stops working during a round, especially when the green view comes up. Also, on the tee box, it gives me the distance from my position to the back pin and then the distance to the pin. I really want this app to work better. The view of the green is great when it works.

bought the premium and it worked for a short time. Contacted customer support and sent them a copy of my payment and they have yet to correct the problem. it used to be a very good app but they changed the presentation and I find it very difficult to get the information I want it. I bought the premium to avoid the ads and that never happened. I contacted customer support several times to no avail.

Disappointing app. I'm sure it's a great app when it works. I paid for a one month subscription and constantly was invited to subscribe again as if it didn't know I was already a subscriber. It also suppressed functionality I had paid for. I tried it out specifically for the green reading feature which worked ok. But the GPS it uses is accurate to only about 2 to 3 yards. It doesn't know exactly where you are when you're standing at your ball. You have to estimate that yourself. I won't renew.

The app doesn't give the correct yardage when in approach view. It appears the yardages on the green from the approach view appear to be yardages from the tee box. Also there are issues with the app loading when jumping ahead to other holes. Also there seems to be no way to turn off the green view. I have contacted the apps technical support department by email multiple times over the last 3 weeks with no improvement.

This app has some potential features but it's too slow. it takes 15 seconds to load a new hole and then another 15 seconds to load the green map. Even then it's too hard to figure out how to use the map. I used it for two holes before giving up update: thanks for trying. it may have improved slightly but it's still too slow. I don't mind waiting on the first tee for the course to load but not for each hole. You need to load the entire course and green maps once

The latest update (to try to sell us more stuff) made this app nearly worthless. When you try to enter a score it skips holes then crashes. I had to restart the app over a dozen times during one round. The evermore intrusive adds and breaking the app to provide even more adds is making a laser rangefinder look good. Save your money for something puts the effort into helping your game, not trying to sell you additional services. This is the second time that they broke the app for more ads.

The list and approach settings work ok. when using the hoke view it shows a nice picture of the fairway. However, when you cluck on a festure in the fairway it is supposed to show the distance from where you are to that feature. The problem is, it doesn't appear to know where you are. it shows the dustance to the feature frim somewhere off the fairway. I never use the putt break feature. Toi gard to use. You have to manually set the position of the ball and pin which is not that easy.

I was only able to select my first club on each hole, so no yardage was being tracked. Every time you get within 250 yards, the view changes to "approach" and only gives you info on the green itself, not anything else around it. I don't see how current distance with a gps app was any easier than point and shoot with my laser. I had to unlock my phone every shot and wait for the app to figure out where I was first. Maybe I'm an idiot and just don't "get it" but it wasn't helpful for me at all

UPDATE. Advise **against** buying this app. The company has stopped responding to service requests. I have an issue that has been unresolved for over two months. I am guessing that the company has gone, or is going, out of business. Buyer beware! === Original: Usually it's great. But periodically it locks up at 5% loading after the tee shot. I'm on the 8th hole right now and i have to stop, clear cache, and restart the App at least 10 times. Frustrating!

I have been trying to resolve performance issues for about three months. The app locks up my phone, shuts off and reboots several times during a round. I have contacted the support team several times over the last few months. All for naught. It's as if they don't really care. They at one time suggested that I delete the app and re-install it. It still does not work after several tries. It's a shame because at one time it was a very good app with no problems at all.

I used to love this app using it at my home course in California and my vacation course in Costa Rica. After an update in early 2021 they lost the mapping for my home course in California. After a half dozen calls and several emails it still doesn't work. They're response now is we are aware and will let you know when there's a workaround. 1 year. Done, looking for another app.

I'm a casual golfer who rarely plays even 2 9-hole rounds/ week. I use the free version for that reason. I find the free version speeds up play; not only for me but also my playing partners. Added 6/2021: I've been playing w/o app due to gps wasn't working so I emailed the developer who quickly replied. Cleared storage and cache, then reloaded as instructed. My history wasn't lost. Added 7/9/21: app worked once after clearing cache, but has t worked since. I think I'll look for a new app.😁

Very poor! Won't load in timely manner. Continues to give "permissions need approval" even after all approvals allowed..Not usable..Im not wasting anymore time with POS.

I played Whispering Willows (9Holes) on May 2nd and this App worked excellent. Liked it like I used too👍🏿.

On Note 10+, the app won't load. Just constant loading screen

I've been using the app for past 2 years ..has worked great till recently. Doesn't show the tracker to select the distance to a lay up shot . Have been a bit annoyed with it and then it freezes pretty often . Other than than great layout and great features. I also wish I could use it with my smartwatch..would be a definite plus!!

this was a great app on its day. I've been paying the yearly fee ( started at 9.99 then the last was 19.99). for that cost it was well worth it. move ahead to now. I get a notice that after my subscription ends it's now 49.99, BUT WAIT It gets better. I call them and I get a screw you, for you 4 years of subscriptions, the app doesnt even work any more. popup says I need to pay either the 49.99 or 9.99 for 1 month. but. my subscription doesnt end until June 9, 2019. gready company.

I was a premium app user and decided to use the upgrade to putts on free trial. used the app and found that the app would freeze when going to green reads and was too slow to respond. Before free trial ended I wanted to cance free trial on website. It did not go through and my account was charged each month for 4.99. I then tried to contact though phone. multiple times I could not get through. finally I got through and was able to cancel free trial. now I lost everything in my app.
