Third time, last trial attempt. It randomly places you in the back 9 and there does not appear to be a way to switch to the front again on the watch, so you can't keep score anymore. In addition to the random hole swaps. Honestly shocking they want money for this. Im giving up. I would not trust this app to count my eggs at this point.

I've purchased premium but it will not stop asking me to get it and keeps this king I'm using my 3/3 free trial.. it does work after all if this and it is a great app. But the constant annoyance of this purchase bug is actually infuriating. (Samsung S3 frontier watch)

Thanks for the fixing. However, still the map does not show the 10th hole correctly. You should also look st that problem and fix it. Thank you.

This app is really painful to use, the app will not let me enter into my final score once round is complete. It completely crashes the entire app & says fix bug etc. Can you guys fix your problem so us Android users have a reliable golf app to use.

App is stuck in screen and no answer. If I play from 1st hole it is ok but if I start to play from 10th hole and after finishing 9 hole and when I play in 1st hole this app is not working. I have to stop the round and restart th app to use it.

Does basics well, with one major flaw. Yes, occasionally jumps a hole but found it good enough for yardages and maps, no issues. But. For some reason there is a forced 'break' between 9th and 10th. This means you CANNOT competely record a round if you start at the 10th and play the back nine first. I have absolutely zero idea why this demarcation was included, it has no correlation to any golf format I've ever played. Cannot recommend. EDIT: using on the Galaxy Watch Active 2 - Golf Edition

Don't understand all the bad reviews! Used it for a round today and it's great, it's actually very accurate which surprised me, didn't need my rangefinder which I normally depend on. It let me down on one shot only, I think the GPS lost signal and gave me a green 35 yards short, but that was one shot only, and signal strength isn't really the app or developers fault. Just the score counter function would be useful for a lot of people. Will very much consider buying the one year membership 👍🏻

The UI is lacking a lot. I paid the $40 membership and I don't feel like I have gotten my money's worth with its analyzing tools since there aren't many or are extremely basic that other free apps will give you, some with more detailed information than this one. For it to have a partnership with Samsung I expected a more complete app. Golfzon shows a very different UI on their website than what you actually get when you download it. Wish I had more space to explain everything that is wrong.

I am struggling with some of the options / lack of features on the app. So far I would say you are a 3 star app with potential but no ongoing investment. 1. Need a feature where we can turn off the auto hole feature. In many instances if you hit onto a different fairway it will switch holes and not give a distance for your current hole (if you try to move it back to the right hole, it still switches back) 2. Need a way to be able to open a golf course that is in favourites without playing it. As an example, in many instances I would like to look at the course details to plan out how I'm going to play it (especially if I don't play here often or if its for a competition) 3. There is no easy way to judge distances to hazards i.e. bunkers and water hazards. This is a serious problem as you can't judge how far the ball has to carry and pick the right club Finally, it looks like you haven't invested in this app in a while. What investments are you guys making on either a) slope information on the course b) green undulations for the UK

THIS app was working great for over a year. Suddenly, back in April I went to activate it for a course I've played many times and got nothing ! It won't activate and work using GPS ... and dit won't bring up the map of the course. it says, "go to the tee box" when I turn it on, but it remains a white screen. I currently WAS using it with my Galaxy 20+, but suddenly, it stopped accessing the courses I've played often in the past. What happened with the latest update?

This was my favorite app to use while golfing. It was near perfect until all of the sudden my Samsung gear S3 had a more updated version (1.3.1) and my Galaxy s8+ only had (1.1.2) available in the Google play store. Funny thing is, both devices say they have the latest versions. I tried contacting customer support about this but they have been negligent towards me and helping me with my issue. As much as I don't want to find a new app it looks like I have no other options.

First of all, if you're a new user figuring this app out for the first time, read these Pro-Tips - First, ensure that the app is up to the current version (1.6.4 as of this writing), do this by connecting your phone to your watch and selecting the galaxy store on your phone, then the watch tab, then update apps. If while playing you find that your watch is vibrating while trying to hit shots, this is because by default your watch is set to alert you when it is separated from your phone. You can turn this off in the watch settings if you're someone who keeps their phone in their buggy. This took me a long time to figure out so I'm happy to share what I've learnt. You can also mute your Watch's other vibrations and sounds from phone calls etc via the watch's settings. These options work independently from your phone. Review - This app has a sharp learning curve with lots of growing pains and as a result I've had to update my review here for the fourth time now. However after 14 recorded rounds using this app on my watch, I cannot be without it now! Gone are the days of trying to figure out how far you hit it with a scorecard or range-finder. Two simple button presses and it can capture your driving distance plus every other shot you record in your round. You can also see your average score per round, your total rounds tracked as well as putting average all from the home-screen. Upload your round to the cloud after your game and you can even get more in-depth with the use of the Golfwith app on your phone or PC to get a hugely in-depth analysis of your game while having a beer at the club house directly after your round or while eating dinner at home later that night. The analysis includes a birds eye view of each hole with distance markers of your tracked shots which is fantastic. From the PC or Phone version you can also see more detailed stats. Like your scorecard, hole-analysis, and average scores across pars 3, 4 and 5. However, the most unique feature of this app is the development team behind it. They truly care about the quality of this app and will update and respond to any issues you might run into. In my case they have helped me to understand and navigate the app more thoroughly while also updating it on my behalf. When I purchased the app each of the four tees at the club house of my club (36 hole course) were colour coded instead of displaying the unique course name and whether it was the back 9 or front 9. So I wrote to the Developer and to my surprise they have now updated it so each of the tees displays the correct marker for each courses unique name! Talk about love! My only gripe left is that the app should never assume when you've finished a hole which it currently does. This is because many people take their bags to the next tee before going back to the previous green to finish putting or chipping. In some instances I could still be 50 metres out but because I'm so close to the next tee the app thinks I've already finished the hole. It would also be nice to have the green undulation information for courses outside of Korea/US. Once you get to the green the app can't be utilized to it's fullest without this information. However, with all the unique features plus a passionate dev team behind it. I can't even take off a star rating for this minor inconvenience. 5/5 stars a must-have app with tonnes of future potential still to explore!

It is quite good except that csn you make ir stay on the top screen of my Galaxy Watch 4 after it turned dark? This is important when playing golf Otherwise, when I turn on the screen, I have to touch thr small button on the bottom screen of the watch. Most importantly, the auto score function does not work when the app minimized to the bottom of the screen.

Great app. Wish the automatic hole detection could be turned off/on manually. Sometimes the holes are close together and a small draw/fade is enough to make the app end the current hole and jump to the next. Scrolling back sometimes confuses the app all together and the whole round is basically ruined. The rest of the features are great.

Work well during my rounds and I love it great for game plan but just this month I cannot review my round history. It shown A temporary error has occurred. updated; After try with your suggestion still not fox the issue. Let me know what I should try next.

The app looks much better with the new update. It still need to get handicap calculator. Please update the map for golf course qutub golf course Delhi ... The course got renovated and the app still shows older map.

Since the update, constant crashes and bugs have not allowed access to any stats. Please fix.

Not great at syncing to the phone app for more details. Not very intuitive. Could be easily improved. Great to have the maps on the watch but poor attention given to fixing bugs. I can see similar issues have been raised for a long time.

Doesn't record shots for back 9 holes. Only records front 9.

Love this app and my active 2 watch with it, if the course info is correct then it makes planes so much better. There are two courses by me that are messed up because of the whole number is switched with another so it messes up the rest of the holes but other than that it's perfect and spot-on with yardage if you know how to use it correctly which it's not that hard to figure out 😆 lol I double checked yardage and it was spot on perfect.

I can't connect to my Samsung watch 4. I just purchased this app tryin to get it connected. My watch keeps telling me I need to purchase a subscription. It's not working. Please cancel my subscription

So, tried to use one of my 3 free trial rounds but it stopped after 9 holes and wanted me to use another trial round. Bit of a con as a round is 18 holes. I wasn't really fully convinced after 9 holes and was not prepared to use another"round" on the back 9. Why is the round split into 2? I'm not bothered about"plays like" as i can guess that pretty well. The app isn't great, takes a while to catch up after leaving the green before letting you put the score in. There's better out there for less

I don't understand why it can be so difficult to make the premium app work after payment has been made? I purchased this on 30th August after the trial as I was impressed with the app. Now after buying a year's subscription and it initially activating after notifying golf on through the app, the service had deactivated itself today when I went to play a round. I've emailed the account details across for reactivation. Such a shame as the app is decent but the subscription service is abysmal!

This is the best golf gps app for your Samsung watch. Every course that i have played has been available. Yardage is spot on, you can see a hole layout as well. Some courses have the slope of the green included. I had an issue with upgrading to their premium unlimited, but i emailed their support team and they fixed it right away.
