This app is great it's great for deep sleepers. Me being a deep sleeper it's very hard to wake me up in the morning but this app when the alarm goes off it's wakes me up within like 5 seconds of going off so I highly recommend getting it app
This app woke me up, but I only downloaded it to see if I snore, and apparently that cost money. So I was disappointed. I also thought that the price was way too high, it is $39.99, and that's way too much for me to see if i snore at night. I think you should bump it down to $4.99 or $5.99. I also thought that it was weird I had to pay money to play music for sleeping.
no longer able to access my own audios to use for alarms. super annoying.
I've used this app for years and really liked it. Recently the alarms keeps going off on mornings I don't have it set. I am positive it was off. Also it keeps acting like I've snoozed it in the mornings, when actually I've turned it off, and goes off 30 minutes after I've woken up. It woke my wife up the other day while I was getting ready in the other room. For now, it has become unusable for me.
AVOID, NOT FREE! (They deleted my review within 2 mins, somehow) its advertised as free but you get 5% of the app for free, the rest is $15 a month, incredibly stupid. The thing everybody is downloading the app for is not free, ans they dont even say amywhere which features are free and which u have to pay for before you waste one night on this app. Dont waste your time on this unless your money grows onto trees.
I understand the need for ads in the free version of the app, but I think this app pushes it too far. There's a banner ad that's always on the bottom of the app everywhere you go, including on the bedside clock that's designed to be on all night while you sleep. I can't even get a break from the ads while I'm asleep and can't see them, anyway? On top of that, while adjusting the settings in the app I randomly got a full screen unmuted video ad. Not condusive to sleeping. Uninstalled.
This app really does work. I have seen many elements which have clearly been thought through, such as the way you turn off the alarm- it requires a long press which takes about 3 seconds of open eye to make sure the alarm stops. That's just one thing, the second thing is, the actual benefit of the app. It has a 30 minute wake up range and it actually wakes you up at your lightest sleep level, allowing you to not feel groggy, and lol I don't even use the premium version. So you be the judge.
Beware!!!! Alarm did not sound!! Something changed with this app. It used to be reliable. I own a business and had an appointment scheduled yesterday at 7am. My alarm never went off. I was 3 hours late! This morning I set this alarm and a backup alarm. Thank goodness for backups! This one never went off! When I looked at the screen it stated it was due to sound in 23 hours. I've used this alarm for a few months prior with no issues. I'm uninstalling today. I can't take anymore chances.
Although I love the app and it's functions, it's missing a few things that would make it so much better. 1. I think it's should be linkable to music playing apps like Amazon music, Spotify, Pandora, and the like. Right now it's "music" option for an alarm is just saved audio files, which for me isn't music. 2. A small thing yes, but I think there's should be an option to turn off snooze. And 3. If it can't link to other apps for music, then it should at least have more options for alarms.
Good Morning was a really good app. however it recently down graded to an app called 'sleepzy' which is completely different and much lower quality. it is a lot less accurate than good morning. visually it is pretty, but all of the features that could have been deemed improvements are locked behind a pay wall and unfortunately it's just easier to download a competitor to get the experience you've come to expect of Good Morning.
The UI design is bad imho. It doesn't make things easy for user. In order to see different alarms I've set-up, I need to swipe to the right to bring the slider menu. If I want to turn off the alarm from the app, I need to press the alarm one by one and slide the button off. Very cumbersome and not easy for user.
Sleepzy crashed too much on my phone to be reliable for my primary purpose, which was as an alarm. The secondary purpose was to record what times I actually went to sleep and woke up, and Sleepzy doesn't display the exact times, just the graph with the hour markers (and it only shows those if you sleep long enough). Also, the free version occasionally plays ads with sound, which woke me up in the middle of the night -- not a good idea for a sleep app!! (responding to devs: Sure, I'll email you and give you all the info I can.)
It worked well, I got consistent results, design was beautiful, and was happy. Free and effective. Then I realized it didn't work. At all. I accidentally left my sleep tracker on for two hours after I woke up, and the app thought I was in deep to light sleep the entire time. Not sure how it works for alarms, but I'd recommend not wasting time or money if the trackers what you're looking for.
Used app at night with locked phone. When the alarm rang, I couldn't turn it off from lock screen, but rather first unlock and then search for where to stop it. No big button on the screen that says "wake up" like in similar apps. Also too much ads on the start before I could even make use of the app. Three stars - since it does work, did wake me up on time, but it's not comfortable so I won't continue using it.
