Good News Bible (GNB)

It is a very good app, the language is straight forward and easy to understand. But I think it would be even better if some features can be amended in the app, such as; a next icon should be introduced in such a way that at the end of a chapter, one should be able to move to the next chapter. Also, last memory should be introduced wherein once you exit, you should be able to catch up with where you last read. Thanks a lot for the good work so far.

I simply uninstalled the previous GNB app for this . but please in the next update , the headings should be in different colours from the readings , the whole chapters in a books , eg : mathew should open together when clicked , but differentiated by headings , chapter numbers and verse numbers ; so that those who dont really know the chpters or verses they are looking for can easily scroll up or down and find it easily . and the books of apocrypha should be placed separately at the end Thanks .

Great app but would be nice to have a next icon or even list the chapters like the previous version so that one would not have to scroll all the way through to read chapter by chapter. Eg, the book of psalms, the list is way too long and a tad bit stressful to have to do that. I'll be using other Bible apps till this is corrected

Nice and understanding But it only shows chapters and No option to select verse unless you scroll it to the verses you want even if is verse 40,60 etc They should include verse option on next update. Thanks.

I really love Bible apps that can read to me and this feature unfortunately is unavailable. But it sure is simple to understand.

This is a blessing app to us,we wake up with the word of God and any time i can open it and read the word of God,get encouraged and even have a daily word to hold to for a day thanks a lot for this app will tell others about it, so that they can enjoy life too 🙏🙏👌.

Very nice interface and nicely simplified translation however, it appears differently in other devices, the new and old testament are not separate.

Too many ads pop up..., Delays to open. Aside those, it's a good translation with all the books of a complete Catholic Bible. 👍🏽

This is a really nice app its so easy to use and is not a selfish company using the word of god just to make money but a company thats spreading the word of god and am happy about that and there are not many ads in this app keep up the good work , if you make another app like this i will surely install it its a 5 star for me i highly recomend it.

Difficult to use the psalms without useless ads interferring and holding up a prayer session!! May soon uninstall it as it gets more frustrating using it!!

Sir The division into Old and New Testaments in the menu were useful. Please bring it back. For each chapter the verse number should also be brought back.

It is not arranged in sections. It could be divided Into books, chapters and verses. It could also be grouped into Old testament and New testament.

It has big fonts and organized chapters in the book. The best bible app, could be for offline. Recommend!

It's a good Bible but takes too long to open. Remove this sync and configuring before it opens.

Being able to read the word of God everywhere you go and not having to carry the Bible its very good, I can read it at work, during loadshedding

Finally I've gotten a bible in the simplest form and language. Very easy to understand. And the addition of Maccabees Tobit and Judith Wisdom Baruch and Sirach is wonderful. Thanks to the developer. God bless you immensely.

This is how a Bible app should be, simple to use and esay to understand. Infact u can write notes and share. I really love this app.

It is taking a lot of space when installed. It also took along time for deuterocanonical books to be displayed

When I read any other Bible you discovered some words in the Bible have changed..But the Good News Bible are the same as the one of yesterday..Simply love it..Simply the Bedt

This is a wonderful bible and has many of the 9 books of the missing scriptures that is not in the holy bible in the king James version of the original bible.

Easy to read,but doesnot contain cross references and word search

Lay out quite clear and neat but l dislike those other books not found in other versions added to it.
