Clubs that are open show as closed. Regardless what the app has, if it cannot show something as simple as correct open and close times, it is pretty pointless.
I have installed and uninstalled this app so many times. When I go to book a class it goes to the next page which only shows dates on the top. I have to hold the edge of my screen and I can see the classes. Then I have to have tricky fast fingers to try and select a class and the screen just goes white with dates on the top again. I have asked other people that I work out with and none of them have this issue. I usually just login into the Goodlife website which is a pain Call me frustrated ugh!
It would be great if 'Favourites' was one of the filter options. I liked the version before that allowed us to add notes to our exercises.
Cannot get booked classes to sync to calendar anymore. So frustrating. July 2021. 10 months to perfect this app and it is still terrible.
Many things are not working for Android App. For instance "Direction" option for any Branch is not working. Also On-demand resources and virtual classes shows nothing on my Android Phone (Google pixel), tho its working on iOS on iPad. It has stuff, but what's the point if ain't gonna work, other than just booking classes 🙆🏻🤦🏻
I deleted my GoodLife app because it doesn't update with class changes even though I get a notification. I reinstalled it and still no change. What can I do to rectify this?
The application keeps asking me to enter a valid verification code after one has been entered. Even after a re-send the app can't seem to verify its own code on an account set-up. I can't create an account. Please fix this.
When the app is working it works great; super convenient and very handy. But about 30% of the time it logs me out and i can't get back into my account and I have to wait a day or two until it finally lets me back in. Extremely annoying. When this happens I have to go onto my internet browser and log in from there. BUT there's still problems. I cannot access the same or next day for booking workout times. It simply says there are no workouts available at the club. It's quite ridiculous.
I had to come on here to give my feedback because typing anything in the app gives me physical pain. On-screen keyboard covers the input fields. And God forbid there's a typo you have to correct, first you have to minimize the keyboard, tap on the text you want to correct, minimize the keyboard again to check if the cursor is in the right place, and if you have goodly fingers like me, goodluck getting it right the first 10 tries. I hope this is fixed real soon.
Trouble signing in - the app says there are two accounts with my email, then it makes me select one of them based on phone numbers, which are of course, both the same. Tried to set up one of the canned home workout schedules but that didn't work (even though it said it did). Then I tried to filter on "Beginner" workouts but it says there aren't any. Perhaps I need to guess the other 3 criteria too (days per week, number of weeks and intensity) to I guess it's just back to YouTube....
A very frustrating app to use because basic functionality members need it for, namely to book workouts, don't reliably work. As others have mentioned, it's slow, classes doesn't seem to be bookable even though there's availability, and it's unstable. Not very intuitive layout for features, like saving and unsaving favourite clubs, among others. I only use it because I have to, and unfortunately the website is just as clunky.
Unreliable, poor user experience. This is quite possibly the worst app I've ever used. Glitchy, poor design, awful user interface. The key function is to allow the user to manage their sign ups for workout sessions but it can't even do that well. My teenage cousin could have designed a better app. It logs you out, and won't allow you to log back in...no explanation you just end up looking at your login details after it fails. The booking calendar is poorly designed and frustrating to use.
I downloaded the app the other day and so far I have booked 2 work out sessions with no issues. My only complaint so far is that I'm unable to change the Calendar app that this app uses to record my appointments. I made a mistake on the initial set-up and chose the wrong Calendar app. I'm unable to go back and change that now.
After the most recent update, the app screwed up my favorites and home club list. I couldn't update the list in the app, so I went to the desktop website and updated my list there (for some reason the list there was also messed up). However, the changes are not reflected in the app. So I am stuck with booking through desktop or scrolling through a long list of irrelevant clubs in my app until I find my club. Very frustrating.
Very buggy. Booking days are misaligned (e.g. booking a Thursday session put it in as Wednesday, Saturday came out as Friday, etc.). Also, bookings arenot showing on calendar (though they are visible via the web browser). Tried to cancel a workout 2 hours before; app crashed but it the booking disappeared so I thought all was well, only to get an email later saying I'd missed the booking and was receiving a 'strike'. Interface and structure is very good, hence the two stars.
I have had to change my rating as the app has not loaded properly for DAYS. I can't even log in at this point. I was able to log in briefly this morning but all the classes I have book have been wiped off. Incredibly frustrating expecially when you have to book your slot in order to go to the gym. I have paused my membership as a result. I. Not going to pay for a service I cant even use.
This app is absolutely useless!! I used to be able to look at class schedules but now it just doesn't work. Same lame error message everytime i open the app. I can't even log out and log back in because it tells me my email is already associated to a memeber at the club! That member is me!! For an organization as big as Good Life this app and its functionality is as close to garbage as I can think of. If there was an option for zero stars, I would use it!
The worst app! Why did u update it?! It took me 30 min to log back in 'cause I got several error messages. The booking system is awful and I have no idea where to get the tag on my phone anymore. Picking a fav club is a very tedious task...once chosen, only information related to those clubs should be shown (e.g. hours,classes, special updates). Also, the calendar view is no longer functioning on the website. I use this app because I have to. Please go back to the old version!
When it works its great but sometimes it completely stops working or gets so irrationally slow that it's frustrating to use. You have to log in every time you open the app (and it takes ages for it to log you in after you enter your info) and after that basic features take ages to load. Occasionally doesn't allow you to log in because of "0.Unknown Error" or "1.Server took too long to respond" and won't allow you to log in for who knows how long (I've been stuck for a week)
If I could give it no stars I would. I get with all of the Covid restrictions in place everyone is trying to use the app/browser, but come on they had to expect this would happen. Considering you can't just walk in and get a spot (and if you do, the chances are very low someone does not show for their timeslot), this is the only way to secure a workout. Waste of membership fees when you can't even get the chance to workout.
Awful app with frustrating experiences, which we're expected to rely on during the pandemic. I am logged out several times a week and, more often than not, the app will not load properly. I've even incurred a booking sanctions because I could not get into the system. Please consider making improvements to the app and resolving the current bugs. Life doesn't always "just happen" - it's likely also due to issues with the app.
Wow. This app is compete garbage. Why does good life promote it? Get better developers and better testers to make something that actually works. It's nice to be able to book a class through here. But it only works 1 in 6 times. I work in IT. If we developed this piece of garbage, we would be fired.
