The app is pretty basic, which is fine, but it should at least allow users to be added or moved to their correct OU. Without this functionality, this app is really only good for organizatione of about a dozen people or less.
Would give 0 if possible! I've just moved from iPhone to Android and I can't login in to the Admin app. "I keep getting the following error: This service is unavailable for Google Workspace for Education users who are under 18 and children under 13 (or the age of consent in your country)." This is despite the fact that I am an admin and am logged in to the Admin console on Chrome (which is very un-user-friendly as a mobile interface). Very surprised at Google. iPhone better than android again.
App is broken 4/19/2022 App keeps asking me to login after pin input. Leads to a page that says JavaScript is not enabled on this browser (it's own admin app is the browser) login fine on chrome (default mobile browser) Needs serious fixing after last update.
The user experience is OK. But the design can be improved and the app could get more functionality.
I am unable to upload a photo, whenever a photo is chosen from the gallery, the app crashes
Not able sign in only. It just says cannot sign in on android phone.
It does not work at all. It does not let you chose or enter account id as the keyboard does not pop up on the login screen. I could not even go past the login screen and worst thing is that I am using this app on pixel 2 which is a Google phone. Seems it is made available on the play store without testing. I would not recommend anyone to waste time on this app.
Steaming hot fresh garbage. I thought it would be useful to reset a user's password and the only option after auto-generating was to notify by a link that expires in 48 hours... I don't understand these UX developers. I don't understand how somebody can come up with that and then genuinely think, "perfect!"
Gives you great over view of users, groups, and some other of their services bur functionality and features are pretty limited. I know you can't fit everything from the main admin panel in but the app and menu feel hollow. Users. Groups. Devices. Basic audit log of everything with no ability to filter. That's pretty much it.
Horrible unethical practices. I'm a sole-member of my business and registered to use the service without completing the process. Someone at google added two additional licenses and charged my credit card without my authorization. I have a startup company and no employees so who is using the other two licenses? It's unbelievable a global fortune 10 company would steal. Also, once you add your credit card the system will not permit deletion. Under no circumstance would I recommend this service.
This app is just terrible and useless. I am unable to pass the login screen because it asks me to login to a Workplace account (which I have) but does not recognize that it's on the device and won't let me in as it only detects my personal account. It's just embarrassing that a company as big as Google won't fix this issue, this is just pure stupidity.
No longer works? Cannot login, says no admin (I have multiple accounts on my device, 2 are super admin for different domains), prompts me to add an account and when I try it says that user already has an account on device and then I'm stuck. I ot sure what happened but this app is no longer functioning for me. Used fine for years prior to this. Hopefully it's fixed soon.
Apps kees saying authentication failure...I would appreciate some help here.
Actually had part of email address wrong sent an algorithm command when cricket service's Nokia who's preinstalled email app now so prehistoric that's outdated beyond belief came across when trying to add a dress. Microsoft exchange. Every step involving the safeguarding or clean up of seriously damaged accounts and identities of users has anybody noticed all leads right back to Google? There's no app or email address that's going to fix these problems so might as well stop trying
Absolutely useless. It does not connect at all. Hilariously, the iOS version DOES connect, but offers only 10% of the functionality on offer for pc users. If you MUST use this, go through the webapp.
I downloaded it multiple times but keep getting the same error code. I even got as far once as to reset my PIN, but when I tried to log in with it it flashed the PIN request then instantly returned to the error code before I could do anything. I would reach out to support except that I see others are having this same problem. The app would be fantastic to keep up with administering Gsuite but if I can't log in, it is of no use to me. I look forward to trying after Google returns to full staff.
Been using Googlegroups for years. Love it for grouping for organism-izing for larger issues. Its weakness lies in its root technology - email and those just being compounded. Coaching is always needed On the plus side, it does enable some discipline & hence structure lacking in other media.
Same as all the recent reviews. Worked great and now I can't use it. I have my Google admin account set up on my phone, but keeps cycling through the login, saying account exists on my device. Hope they update this soon. Update 4-23-19: They fixed the issue and I am once again able to use the admin tool for my work's domain.
Doesn't work. It took several attempts to log in and when I finally made it, I received "insufficient permissions" messages every where. Very disappointed since this is a service I pay for and having an app that allows me to access G Suites on any device would have been helpful.
same as other reviewers... I'm in an endless loop of being asked to log in, then a message saying "account already exists on device". I'm tried uninstalling and reinstalling. no luck! worked great for years before this happened. fix this issue and it's back to 5 stars.
I'm guessing my former school now uses this. I graduated over a year ago, but a notification on my device keeps telling me I need to sign in with my school account, which I no longer have. I never installed this app but cannot get rid of this "Google Account Action Required" notification nor can I find where to delete my old school email, since it doesn't show up on my actual Google account!
Can't login. Keeps going in a loop. Accepts my login details, then says the account already exists and sends me back to the start of the process and doesn't actually login. I can't use this at all. Google devs, you need to check all the negative reviews with the same, or similar, problems. Not that they will, typical Google couldn't give a $#1+.
Worked fine for 3 years and now just sends me into an endless login loop with the message 'Google Account already exists' error with no fix or instructions on what to do. Tried reinstalling the application and deleting/re-adding the ID and it still refuses to work.
Downloaded for the first time today, Can't log in, shows errors saying it's for administrators only, but I I'm super admin. Seems like a common theme here, irritating the Google is releasing software in this condition at this point in their existence. Everything they made used to work pretty well.
App is currently unusable . As with soany others, can't login App searches for then asks for my email account, then says it already exists on my device. Cannot get past the login screen. I am a GSuite administrator. Have used this app for years with mo issue. Developers need to fix this.
Sign in issue finally appears to be fixed. Excellent app, but I'm disappointed in how updates occasionally break it. The last debilitating bug took weeks before a fix was released. Not cool.
The app is now broken. I see other reviews with the same issue. I went to open it today and it stated only Gsuite admins can use. I have a work account and a personal gmail account on my phone. Next, it asks for my device login, then my work email. After that, it starts to loop all over again. I don't know how as tech gets better, they make changes to an existing app that dumb it down.
Kind of surprised to see it say it's been recently updated. It's VERY basic functionality and hasn't changed in the last 3 years or so. Useful if you need to disable a user or create a group in an emergency but that's about all it's good for.
