You would be required to enroll your device with Google Device Policy App if your IT administrator has set up Mobile Management in your company. The app allows your IT administrator to mandate security settings like screen lock or device encryption and keep corporate data safe. In this app, you can review all the security policies applied on your device at any point of time. The IT administrator can also configure corporate WiFi networks or work apps, that are auto-provisioned upon device enrollment.

Note: your personal information like geolocation, photos are not tracked or collected at any point of time.

Constantly says "device policy has stopped working." Then it gets into an endless loop of trying to open the app, with the same error message each time. Once I uninstall and install it again, the app then works to access my work email, but only for a week or two. Then the app somehow crashes again and says it has "stopped working," requiring me again to uninstall and reinstall. Please fix the bug!

So incredibly inefficient and unintuitive!! I have installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled this app about four times now. Each time when trying to log in to another account, it wants to create another work profile. It deletes the profile, takes me back to the app / home screen, and nothing has changed. I try to log in again, and the cycle begins anew. I would really like this to work so I can communicate with my coworkers, but it looks like that won't be happening. Less than worthless!!

This app is pure trash. I can't deactivate it even though my company have deactivated it on their end. The app will not let backup my app data on Google drive so I can put that old data and messages on my new phone. My company's IT admin tried everything to get this app off the phone and I they deleted my records out of the system but still can't stop the app from stopping my sync and or backup. I can't even use Smart Switch or AT&T's data backup app. This is totally ridiculous and unlawful

Update stuck at 98% whenever I try to update it, as a result it keeps giving me persistent notifications and IT'S SO DAMN ANNOYING. If you can't fix it for now at least turn off the notifications so that it isn't such an unpleasant experience. I only downloaded this app for work and I hate that I have to deal with the clutter it adds to my notifs. It seems like other users have also been complaining about this!

This app has worked for years a s suddenly for the past 2 months I cannot access my non Profit's email or anything else because it will not let me log in or sync or do anything...YouTube even.. cannot sign in. Basically this app just turned worthless. Unsure what changed but you need to change it back. I have literally been using it seamlessly for at least 5 years for my non-profit.

Why I can't sync in my school account? It's says that I don't have internet connection or network error even though my wifi is strong. I do some troubleshooting yesterday and uninstalling and installing but still it doesn't work. I can't access to all google apps in our school. Please fix it now since we'll be going back to use it on Monday. Big Company Google but they have trashy apps that they don't even want to fix.

I'll change my ratings once you fix this bug, Google. I can't access the google classroom because of some "network error" that appears whenever I register my account. Please fix it, Google. You have been doing your job effectively and efficiently for those previous version. I hope you quickly fix this bug (I guess).

This good for MSP and MDM purposes. I like that it creates a work profile, but it can get a bit confusing for end users. It also sometimes takes way too long to setup. If you do not do this on a new phone. You MUST "factory reset". That is NO GOOD!! Use only when issuing new devices don't even use on already formatted devices.

What is this garbage. It doesn't sync, it doesn't work properly. Everytime i switch networks it stops the sync and now I can't attend my Google meets through my Gsuite account because this thing doesn't work at all. And then one day i rebooted my phone and it disappeared. I came back here to re-install and now it won't install. Such a beautiful piece of garbage. And btw...how can this app have a 4-star rating.

Great when it worked in the past for keeping work and personal profiles separate (if you have G-Suite/Google Workspace), but I tried to set up on my new Google Pixel 6 today and keep getting 'Network error, please try again later'...so pretty much useless right now. And looking at other reviews this isn't isolated to me. Pretty bad for a Google service that works a pro Google Enterprise system not to work on a fully updated flagship Google device. I how this can be fixed soon.

Disables downloading apps even through personal account, you can't switch accounts (even to the work one), has many administration-related issues overall and when you want to uninstall it you need to dig through tons of settings to actually do it. Recommending to use separate device entirely.

This app has just become a trash app. I can't sign into my school account it says "Network error, please try again" what is the error in that? You people need to fix your apps and make them work because people have accounts they need to use for certain things. I wish I could give this app 0 stars but y'all are lucky. Please fix this problem.

Google can you please get the network error issue sorted ASAP. I can't access work emails from my new phone. This is totally unacceptable. One of the largest organizations in the world takes so long to resolve an issue for a widely used app relied by so many across the globe.

Why would you disrupt service for an application that many individuals use on a daily basis. I cannot add student emails without it asking me to start a Work Profile space. I just want it to work normally on the Gmail app and not to be segregated to its own space. Please bring back the connection so that I can use my student email like any other normal Gmail address.

Network error. No access to my work email, Google Drive, Google Sheets for 2 days. Account setup keep installing this app instead of newer Android Device Policy app. Why if it's not supported anymore?? Huawei P20 Lite.

Doesn't work, as others have written, gives "network error, lpease try again later". I have been trying again later for days with no result. Finally enabled developer mode on my watch and read the logs, and it looks like google has intentionally shut this off, but not removed the app?? The registration server responds with a 405 status and a message of "User registrations are not allowed due to SHUT_OFF_NEW_DMAGENT_REGISTRATIONS". Good lord, you're Google, this is your own operating system and your own account infrastructure, how did you manage to mess this up?

This app literally wiped out my whole email account. Also, this app needs a lot of personal things in order for it to work. For example, (for me) it needs to be able to CHANGE the password to my phone in order for it to work. This app is useless, and always heats my phone up. Waste of space.

There's a serious bug with this application it keeps looping giving an error that account action is required and after signing in it loops. If fixed it could be a good application, something should be done about it.

This application locks my work profile after almost every system update, requires the lock screen password but doesn't accept it. I have to delete the work profile, install the app and all the apps I use within my work profile. I totally do not recommend to install it if you don't have to!

since Android 10 update every few days after installing they sync stops. can't sync automatically, can't sync manually, can't sync over wifi, can't sync over mobile data!!! only re-installing the app is the only solution. fix this! this is a major major major inconvenience. I can't but use my University mail services so I'm stuck with this app either way. do something about it update August, 14, 2020: can't register my account at all. just can't.

Keeps notifying me for acc. actions when there's nothing to do. I tried to add my 2nd work acc. for admin. It lets me do that but shows a warning that there is already a work profile config'd and offers cancel/del. Cancel causes another notification. Now trapped in an endless circle of notify,configure,cancel/delete. After uninstall, power off/on the device,I reinstall. 1 config works but notifications persist. Adding 2nd acc. via Gmail shows: only one acc. allowed! App should do this from start

this is a poorly executed policy for private phones. I understand the ability to let an admin wipe work data, but giving a 3rd party permission to wipe your whole device if they want to is unreasonable if you just want to see your calendar and check a spreadsheet. there needs to be an option to protect private data.

I'm using Pixel 3 with all of the latest software and trying to connect to my g suite account, and I'm getting unending loops of not being able to connect to my account. I perform factory restarts to no avail. These are all Google services, including Google Fi, so I don't know what the issue is as every piece of software and hardware relates to Google. The IT administrator at my workplace has policies to not help staff with their phone accounts so I am stuck. Please advise as soon as possible!

Once put in my work email and cannot be logout out, decide not to use my current device to access but keep getting notification from play services said my work email account need attention. Just because there is no option to logout and it is annoying that keep getting the notification every few sec !!

Recursive system with no solution. I have my own business and I use G Suite to manage communications, files, etc. I cannot add my Google account to my device without this system interrupting setup with a recursive flow that won’t allow me to add the account without enabling this app. Nothing about this is user-friendly. I was better off with an iPhone.

I tried to add my work profile on Samsung galaxy A03 core device. At the time of registering it, it is showing a 'network error, please try again' message without giving any clue about what type of error and how to solve it. Pls guide on this or fix this.
