Google Assistant Go

Hey the developers very grateful o had this type of application but a thing that might be disgusting for some of users is that this application cannot recognize song this feature contain some bugs and head tail coin feature please 🥺 remove bugs and do best in configuration of reconization of song for us thank you if you work on it🥰

I love the app overall it's great. The only thing I would like to be added to the Go version is the voice match so you can access assistant from whatever screen you're on with "hey Google" or"ok Google", without having to go into the actual assistant go app Everytime you need it. Other than that it's great so I really hope you can add this soon. Thank you!

This is a nice app. You just need to add some features that can be accessed without an internet connection. Also, why can't it play music? The farthest it can get is opening the app that has the song. And, you can't open it with just saying "Ok/Hey, Google". But long pressing the home button is good enough for me. Please fix these problems and someone explain to me why the Go edition has more problems than the normal.

Super easy to ask Google a quick question when something comes up in a conversation or when you are doing your homework if you are to lazy to type something in to the calculator. Contains no ads unless you go onto a website with ads. When you first go into the app, though, you have to wait a second to be able to speak even if it says you can.

Needs the ability to be programmed to the voice of the main phone owner/user as the way this pre-school age user equivalent app to the full featured Google Assistant app. This one recognizes any voice that speaks to it. It does it register up to three users. That is why it is pre-installed on the Assurance Wireless handsets. (1 device/household). Cannot uninstall to replace w/full version for added security. Needs the option to add voice profiles to thwart Gmail account theft via GO apps.

I make use of this app to connect with my family and friends far and near. I thoroughly enjoy the use and will continue the use thereof. My only concern is that some words are changed after i have checked the texted message,thus causing confusion to the receiver of my message and my having to send another message to correct the error. I am looking forward to the continued use of the service. Thank you

This is a beautiful app but it does not work sometimes. Gives incorrect information. Weather news gives mistakes. There should be more features and solve the problem.Its voice quality needs to be further improved And must provide the right direction at the right time . Then it will be much better.

I like the app and I understand the limitations compared to the full version I just bought a Nokia C2 for my work phone, something that I can drop and not be too worried about. The problem is the phone comes with a dedicated Google assistant button. But I can't use it while the phone is locked. Seems a little counterproductive. I hope this gets fixed in a future update

This app is awful for one simple reason you're not able to use the Google Assistant without holding the home button, opening the Google Assistant go app, or pressing the microphone icon. The biggest convenience using Google was using the hey Google feature and I hate that this app does not have it. You're not able to remove the application so you're forced to use this feature which is ridiculous. Very disappointing.

It randomly fails to open, it randomly crashes, it is incompatible with my device even though it says it came from the Play store and it was pre-installed, and it doesn't process anything. All it does is loads and loads and loads.

App is horrible!!! I look up several items this app provides no pictorials, no tutorials, no suggestions, and it always went to Amazon. What the bleeeeep it's going on. Don't say it's my settings because I set suggestions on, profile, etc Regular Google Assistant was doing just fine!!! I can't get it back because it says there's a similar app already on. Google Assistant go is interfering with my regular Google assistant app. And I want it back Google Assistant Go?????...BOOO!!!!👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

It helps though,but doesn't have more features like the "assistant app".And even though I have downloaded the assistant app,I cannot use it because I also have to download the Google app which I have tried a thousand times to install but does not respond.For me I want to change the "Go " version.Or better still this go version can be upgraded to contain more features like the assistant app. thank you.

It works well despite the small size. However, setting up alarm with voice doesn't work, I was late for two lecture because of this. Please fix before someone miss their plane. Edit: With the help of developers the problem is fixed. Thank you and keep up the great work.

Can't turn off the Google Assistant when working with my headphones in. Everytime I move as I work outdoors with heavy machinery it thinks I'm trying to say something and cuts my music off constantly every few seconds. Sometimes telling me the time, or saying it can't understand what I'm saying. It's driving me insane. Tried everything but nothing works.

Google Assistant Go is fun to play with when you want to waste a little time. I don't like the fact that you can't upgrade this almost worthless version to the full version of Google Assistant. Unless I buy another phone, I'm stuck with all these 'Go edition' apps because they can't be upgraded. I'd be happy if I could just disable all the 'Go' apps and download the full versions of each. There are features I can't use with my Google Assistant at home because of the limitations of Google Go on my phone (my Assistant is constantly asking me to '...download the full version of 'Google' to use this feature...'). I am disabled so my Google Assistant is a real help at home. I'm sure I'm not the only one that is fed up with the error message telling me the limitations and to update Google on my phone in order to use some features at home. I am a big fan of Google and always have been. I worked for Google and enjoyed every minute so you have my support! I sincerely hope you can fix this? Thank you.

Can't uninstall and change the permissions and data access keeps getting restored. It's not just this app but multiple preinstalled apps from Google including Duo are like this which I tried to delete and anything changed including disabling doesn't work. Factory reset and recovery mode is useless. At least one of the apps has a similar looking app preinstalled from another store while the legitimate one is preinstalled too and even more restrictions to what can be changed. Screenshots taken.

After updating the app won't rotate the screen. It's annoying factory Google apps can't be uninstalled because this one would go along with many others. Not a fan of original Google assistant either, always seems to open on it's own and do it's own thing. Hey Google let me uninstal your apps.

1% possible use 99% damned nuisance! and pernicious! i can't use my Spotify App.every time i plug to the headphone socket this app.switches itself on, takes control of my phone and switches off Spotify! I'm not interested in trying to make your gimmick work Google.i want the damned thing out of my phone,or at least,tell me how to disable it without crippling the rest of my phone as well! don't force your apps.onto me when i don't want them! You don't have to buy 9things you don't want at shops!

This is not an easy app to use. It’s too disgusting for a user that he/she should always tap on the icon/long press home button to activate voice command. But the original assistant app supports 'hey google / ok google ' but assistant go doesn't support it, so it’s totally bad for using. We want original assistant app & all the features in android go edition phones. So grant permission us to install the original assistant app. Please, do the job quickly . Thank YOU

I rated this to 4 star before, now the assistant is going to be worse. I use this Google assistant go when I've mobile data, then this app’s performance is good. But when I connected to WiFi it can't assist. The four coloured dots are round. I wait for the result but the dots round. So disappointing, fix it.

It really isn't that useful it only gives me something to do when I'm bored plus I can never use the voice tool it never knows what I'm saying it's annoying. But it doesn't show adds so it's okay if you have a use for it. It has a lot of fun stuff to do. Like there is a riddle game and the app also has jokes but some of them I don't really get. If you do choose to type what you want to say it is a pretty easy app to use. I don't really use the app too much but it is a recommendation for anybody.

I'd have given a rating of all the ✨, but the only seemingly problem that I'm getting is that when I write with the keyboard or say "default voice" and "assistant voice" nothing happens when I tap what I'm told to tap. So I'll change my rating to all of the ✨ when that's fixed.

Pretty good, but... I do wish that you could actually have this app hands free, it also would be cool if we could activate it by a call name, or the usual 'hey google'. It'd be nice to also customize the voice some more. I do wish it would play music instead of just opening the app, too. Overall it's pretty good. 👍

This new update is so bad, My assistant can't complete a single task

I hate the Google go. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because it's Google in general.. I can't set my reminded, use it for a timer. I prefer all the options. This one has none except for general searching. I can't even control my music. I would just have the regular one,. But unfortunately my POS phone is in compatible..

This app is too streamlined to original assistant I hope you add more features in the future update. Edit: your reply means a lot. We would like to see more function like hey, Google, screenshot, dark mode, better UI like original assistant and many more you can figure out.

I always had problems w/GA. Most especially when I was playing videos on YouTube. For some reason it cut the video off when the device (my phone)was jostled. Before I installed GA, the music merely skipped and came back on. After installation, every time it skipped, GA app's voice forced the music off with the statement " How can I help you?"It was annoying, to say the least.
