Google Play Services for AR

I don't need this, I'll never use this, but I'm forced to have it taking up space bc I can't Uninstall it 🙄 I wish they'd stop putting pre-installed apps like this that some people will never use.... It's bad enough they charge you for a phone W extra space, just to fill it with garbage I don't want

This is ads as many have said. I can understand ads is needed to make money, but forcing it on people without a valid explaination, bad. You literally made a passage of info of which no normal person could understand your whatever experience.

Remarkable how Google made the best search engine of it's time, and then proceded to pour out garbage tools for years. I guess it was monkeys with typewriters instead of lightning in a bottle.

This app works fine for me. No update problems. People are mad they can't uninstall this but that's ok because the devs just decided to make it an app to make it update faster. Otherwise, no one would know about this and it would be part of the camera firmware.

It's a useless app that you're forced to have taking up space on phones that can't have expanded memory anymore...I play pokemon go but can't stand the AR functions at all so please make removable

Every AR app using ARCore closes on my phone - other AR apps are fine... I would love to develop for AR using Unity with high school students but this bug prevents me from doing so. Disappointing.

Game says I need latest version. I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice to be sure I have the latest version. Still doesn't work.

Don't know why but since last 3 days I am facing issue on my one plus 7 mobile device,each time when I open my ar app Google AR services pop-up and unable to access camera,so app is not working. Already tried with updates and factory reset my device but still it's not work. My AR app is working perfectly on other companies mobile devices,so please look into this and help me out.

It has a bug for several years that makes in unusable on some devices with obviously no intention fixing it.

Not supported on Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro - Please add support to the redmi 11 pro. Issues with AR using pokemom GO. Please fix black screen or issue with brightness.

Love this app as it allows me to quickly find places I visit often. Also allows me to find things like restaurants when visiting different places that I am new to

Not everyone wants this application. It had automatic updates checked. I unchecked most all of the apps on my phone so that I can choose what to update. It updated 5/2/22 😡 This comes pre-installed on our phones & we have no way to uninstall 😒 We should have the choice of what we want. I've noticed some bad reviews & the developers don't bother to respond to people for help. They apparently don't care or they would respond like most companies do on playstore reviews. I DON'T WANT THIS APP!

Some AR apps are still useable, most are not. When I go to use an AR app, it tells me that I need the latest version of this app. However, I am using the latest version. I've uninstalled the updates, yet it always tells me to update once again, but still doesn't work for the AR apps. I'm using a new, recently purchased Galaxy S10+. PLEASE fix this because I love using the dinosaur AR apps, along with many others. PLEASE FIX!!!

After the recent update, a notification appeared to uninstall because it is no longer supported. I clicked to uninstall it, twice. Yet, it's still taking up space on my phone. Very few apps work properly if at all, now. More apps fail with each update. It's almost as if Samsung and Google are sending out these updates to cause issues on purpose, to force people to buy new. I'll be ditching the smartphone altogether, instead.

Still not in favor of having to have apps on my phone to add ears to selfies. However that it is a also used for Google maps is objectively useful and an increase to functionality.

Someone in here finally told me what this app is for. I thought it was for games. But obviously it's for a lot of stuff. Thanks for the info down there. As for the other person down there who thinks this app was just "slipped into their phone" LOL, you must've slept with your phone under your pillow or something. YOUR MOBILE CAME WITH THIS APP. IT'S PART OF YOUR SYSTEM. Hahaha

All animations take way too long! And I should be able to choose when I want to hatch eggs!

AR core is installed yet none of my apps recognize it. I have the latest verison installed and my device is also Arcore compatible

Please read the small print on what you're agreeing to, it's BS this app was put on my phone without my permission and had auto update checked off🤷‍♀️ which I never agreed to. Then you go to the bottom and read what you agreed to 🤦‍♀️ this isn't right, even if the app didn't have a bunch of glitches 😠

I haven't initiated download of this app..but it is happening on its own... Now it is in pending status (niether downloading or cancelling). When trying to cancel the download, Google play store stops working.

So far I've used this app while shopping or browsing to look at item in 3d before I purchase. It is so cool. It can show you what the actual size is. Like if you are look at a pixel phone to buy in the Google store, you can aim your phone camera down at say a pop can and see the actual size of phone compared to pop can on the counter. on your phone screen is the pixel phone you are considering , like you can touch your screen and move the phone around to view it from all angles. So cool

I have been trying to update this app from past two days but nothing is happening and whenever I try to cancel it, playstore gets a glitch due to which I am unable to install any other apps.

It's Simply Amazing, since Google forced another useless app , I froze it and pulled it apart and seen how very useful it is with the new exploits I added to it's code , who knew it could be modded so easy . It's like the developers just got out of kindergarten, this thing looks like it was designed exclusively by 8 year olds , but with the mods I added, I can do something they can't, like delete it entirely from my device and add it to a pretend device lol

YOU STILL HAVEN'T FIXED THIS I turn off auto update because I want to manage the process on my phone and you turn it back on with every update. EVERY other app or service I have installed leaves that setting alone once I change it.

This is not an app. It's embedded software that cannot be removed from the phone. All it does is hog up memory that you could use for something else more important to your phone usage. Give us a way to uninstall.

When is someone going to address the myriad of issues here? Especially the part where I can't uninstall it. Pisspore service that is becoming the norm ...
