I downloaded this app last Christmas and loved it. Loved playing the games and watching the videos. However this year I installed, uninstalled, and installed again yet I keep getting the error message, "Sorry this scene cannot load" for each game I try to play. This is otherwise a 5 star app. Please let me know if I can do something or if something is in the works because it looks like others are having the same trouble. Thank you.
I really like the 'feed' of Santa's travels. Ok, so 2019, there are a lot of games that appear in the app, except one needs to download a new app/game for each one. Lame. And the Elf maker doesn't load anymore. I don't need the extra stuff, just give me the Santa tracker.
Amazing! This game is the BEST and I definitely recommend it to others, all though, after Christmas when the holidays are over I have to uninstall it, mainly because I miss the holiday season LOL 😂 it's even better when you can see where Santa is, and that there are sooo many mini games to choose from!
I have fond memories of playing this in computer class on a computer and this app doesn't do it justice. The controls are terrible (especially for penguin run, which was my favorite) and it makes you download almost every single game as a different app.
Good app. Terrible chromecast support. I use this app every year to show it on the TV using my chromecast. It only works for about 5 minutes then crashes. Tried this on 2 different devices and 2 different tvs/chromecast.
the only reason I used to get this was for its Android Wear watch faces but they're not included this year. Sure, the other things are amusing but the watch faces were the best of all similar watch faces. I'll probably keep this on my tablet where I have a little more room, but without the watch faces I don't need it on my phone. Maybe next year. Merry Christmas!
I absolutely "loved" this app. Emphasize on loved. But now there is no countdown timer i camt play any new games and it is asking me to download all the old ones. The daily mail showed an upgraded version but mine isnt and i cant update it and when i went to help it says wait till next year santas journey is over so ummmm.... Please fix this Edit: i uninstalled it and the tracker popped up but im still not able to play the new games
Good app since NORAD didn't do their app this year. Like the chromecast capability but it causes my Chromecast to reboot itself several times. Wish that what's on the phone screen was the same as what was being cast.
I have to say that I was very excited for this app, but find myself incredibly disappointed. None of the games loaded when I clicked them, and although the graphics were pretty good (it's Google what else do we expect?!) I couldn't do anything on it but watch the time slowly tick away. No games. Just teasers and loading signs. I'm sorry Google but it just isn't good enough.
I love this app, its the perfect thing for around Christmas but when i try to play some games it will say that the screen cant be loaded. Most of the games dont work. Pleeeaaase fix this, then i will give 5 stars.👍
Im giving this three stars because I love santa tracker, but this app just isn't working for me. Everytime I click a game it just says the screen won't load. I don't know if it's just a problem for me or if other people but I hope it gets fixed soon.!
graphics are very generic, one would think Google would use the actual Google maps overlay instead of the simple design it has. Also the constant repetitive tune playing on Chromecast gets old quick.
I'm not able to play the new games. This seems to be a problem for other people. I'm really disappointed that it's not working, this has been my favourite Santa Tracker, however it can no longer be. I'm wondering if you can fix this as soon as possible, I will bump up my rating when it's fixed. Thanks
Had to change my review from 5 to 4 and here's why I changed my review. As I was playing snowball storm i caught a glitch of the cold water i Tried to fix it but I knew there was no way to fix this glitch so yeah, Thats all I can say.
Fantastic app, hopefully an update will fix this but currently the countdown clock doesn't display for more than a second for be before reverting back to the generic page we see all year round.
Both myself and the kids do not like the updates to the google santa app. We can no longer play the former games, like memory or ski slope race. Also, the app freezes often. Not a fan this year.
This app has games that you can play. Some of the games are harder then the others but they are still all really fun to play. I like it. I also like how this app tells you what country Santa is in and you can see where he has delivered to because there are pictures of toys on the houses that he has been to.
Unfortunate that there is no option to cast the santa tracker to my Chromecast. Strange for a Google app to not work with their smart home devices. We have Christmas music playing on our home hub max and the santa tracker on the TV would be perfect.
This was my favorite Santa Tracker every year that my family would watch throughout Christmas Eve. I am very disappointed that this year, they replaced the Reindeer Bells and Santa's Ho Ho Ho with Music! They also have cluttered the actual Tracker Map with a few things. I feel this part, (a very important part) of our family's Christmas was ruined! Why didn't Google leave the Options in a Settings section to have the "Traditional" sounds of Santa and his Reindeer or the Music? VERY DISAPPOINTED
It's okay, but very laggy. It's an awesome app, but there are often bugs and glitches. The UI is always laggy and jittery. Google Pixel 2 XL
Santa Tracker + FamilyLink for my kids' tablets Website: it's on the Chrome allow list, but when they go there, only the loading screen comes up followed by an error screen that redirects them to the village page. The same thing happens if they go to any of the sub-pages/activities. Installed Web App thing: same thing as the website, no surprise. Stand alone app: the app doesn't show up when searched for on the tablet. It does if I look for it on a computer (obviously) but not from the tablet. Whatever is breaking this app for children will hopefully be fixed within a few days so they can enjoy all month. Will update rating once fixed.
