I had problems making this work, in part due to my lack of tech knowledge, as well as the app needing some improvements. The developer has been very patient and helpful and has gotten the app working for me.

Quick and easy on my Galaxy S3. Had to use the boot file for my Hero3 Black Edition, but the app made the file for me and the instructions are very clear.

It works well, however the GoPro hero3 silver won't show the lrv files, but it shows the full MP4 and JPEG images, and transfers them great. Developer is great too! Very helpful, thanks Tai!

I have the Hero3 Black which doesn't do WiFi transfer out of the box. The app made the needed boot file for me and after starting the camera with this file on the SD card it worked like magic! Can't believe GoPro won't let people know that their newly bought top-of-the-line Hero3 Black can do WiFi transfer! Make sure to read the instructions page so you won't get stuck.

I have my GoPro mounted on a tree, taking timelaps photos of a bird nest. This app saves me climbing up a dodgy ladder take the card out and get the photos. Simply connect my phone, download the photos, end of story. Easy!

GoPro promised wifi file transfer when the WiFi BacPac was originally released, but never delivered. Now I can selectively transfer those LRV files in the field, so I can show my clients their video preview on my Galaxy S2, right there and then! Thsnks Flat Possum!
