Old PC fun. However with the ads at the bottom the playing field is pushed up, and the classic controls are as well. The 7, 8, 9 buttons are barely accessible, and the wind speed doesn't show. I cannot scroll to see these things.

I enjoyed playing this game immensely in QBASIC, and initially, this version was a pretty good reboot of a classic. Then the latest version placed ads over the controls and rendered the game unplayable. I understand that ads support free apps, but they needn't ruin the use of the app. I will have to uninstall it.

Ads ruin this game. Can't see anything on the bottom of the screen. If you don't hit the opponent in two tries, you're done for cause the computer will. Game is a good idea but unfortunately the ads really kill the classic.

Gorillas takes you back to the MS-DOS days and playing the Basic game of the same name. It plays just like that old game and is simple and fun. The only negative thing is that recent updates now show ads banner which covers content and hinders game play. Areas of opportunity are. 1. Improve ad banner placement. 2. Allow for more configurations of game play. The fun of the Basic game was modifying the code. 3. Allow for online multiplayer play.

Nostalgia hit hard. You can play old school style by entering angle and velocity, or angry birds style by dragging a force arrow. Only complaint is add placement. It's messing with the screen on my mobile and making it difficult to use at times

faithfully recreation of your childhood if your childhood was both wealthy and sad. gorillas used to be the best game bundled in dos that you never knew about. great times. thanks for including numerical inputs id have been disappointed if that hasn't been a feature. update: can you adjust the difficulty. cpu gorillas didn't used to hit on the second try. it was like 3-5.

Scoreboard is obscured by ad Banner. Input numerals for angle and velocity are impossible to access because the top of the frame is cut off. I'm missing three digits on the virtual keypad. You've made this game unplayable. Uninstalled.

Good game play, horrible ad placement. Please update so that the wind speed can be seen, and update it for newer phones so we can see the angle and velocity instead of just using the arrow. Brings me back to my childhood.

Good memories. Nicely replicated. The ad covers the bottom, including the wind gage. If you just reconfigured the screen so nothing is underneath the ad, five stars.

I don't know if it's a faithful recreation or if they just stole the code, but it is Gorillas. The new controls are very handy; you can drag from anywhere to fire. For the ads that people are complaining about, while I did have Wi-Fi turned on, in the five minutes that I played I did not see any ads at all. Maybe they'll show up later, or if I use data instead.

A faithful reconstruction, but the ad covers up the score and wind indicator and knocks the top row of the number pad off the screen. Not worth the annoyance this causes.

Ad covers player options. No way to make selections. Great game when played on DOS. Playing on android phone is useless.

the best part of this game was having to type in your angle and velocity. this is super disappointing you might as well play angry birds.

Game was great until the ads started covering the score at the bottom. I don't mind ads in a free game but why can't they be more careful with where they're placed?

Can only be played horizontally and doesnt fit entirely onscreen when the classic version is used.

You are not paying attention! The banner ads are ruining the game. Sell the game ad free or move the goddamned banner ads out of the way. I'll give you a week to get out an up date before uninstalling. Edit: Too late. You pissed me off. Buh-bye.

The game has been updated and removed pretty much all of the complaints listed below. Now you can play it just like the old classic game.

The gravity is a bit off speed 100 goes nowhere while in the original game it will go off the screen most of the time

Just like I remember it. The ad banner gets in the way of the wind guage, though.

Stupid ads cover up game score and wind direction. Can't be cleared. Don't bother.
