HORRIBLE APP. Tried to re-new my non-resident parking pass. The first thing it asks me is for a zone number, which I didn't know and the app did not explain what it was or how to find it. So I went onto the Tucson parking website and pulled up a zone map. Simple right? Wrong. The map labels zones with letters but the app only lets you enter numbers. So I still don't know what to enter in the "zone" field and the app won't let me continue without it. Horrible.
do not use this app, you will still get tickets. Pay at the meter. You cannot buy more than 2 hours at a time. Then for 15 minutes, they ban you from buying more time after the period. This means you connot buy back to back parking with the app. You have to run out to the meter every 2 hours to feed the meter for the 15 mins where the app does not function. So why not just pay the entire fee when you are at the meter. TLDR Dont use the app just pay at meter. Tucson parking is preditory.
First of all park Tucson is the bane of my existence. Second of all, the meters without card readers require you to use this app, yet the app doesn't tell you that when you enter the space number you can't enter the first 0. so i drove around trying to find a parking spot that it would accept before finally calling the number and being given this information. ok so if you guys know this glitch exists why not fix it? all the money you swindle from Tucsonans and you can't afford to fix your app?
A convenience fee? Seriously? Debit and ACA transactions are so commonplace that this archaic notion of a "convenience," fee is ridiculous. some parking lots don't even HAVE a physical place to pay, which ultimately puts you in between a rock and hard place. Next time we wonder why people park illegally, remember that Tucson expects a convenience fee for using something that literally everyone has. that being said, app was nice. the $.25 fee on top of a $.50 spot isn't.
Crashes and auto closes app every time I try to navigate and search for a lot.
Paid for a spot and still got a $62 ticket from the City of Tucson when I still had three hours left. Zone and spot number were the right ones. No option to request a hearing or appeal in the app.
Used it for the first time today. Not much of a downtown guy. But I had traffic court to take care of off stone. Very easily explained. Very quick to set up had my meter paid for in round about 4 minutes. Thank you.
The idea is convinient and useful, however, despite paying my parking fee, I returned to my vehicle to find a citation. Not sure if I'm ever gonna be comfortable using this app again.
Great app. Only problem is that the app only works if the idiot meter maids check the app before issuing a ticket. Got 4 tickets and had to go to court to show receipt to get tickets dropped.
Needs some work, most importantly it tells you that the spot you are in does not exist. If the meter # is 0045, it will not recognize that number, you need to leave off the zeros and just use (in this case) 45.
My only issue is the icon is almoat identical to the other Go Tucson app and i have to hold my phone way up to my face to read the word "Parking."
It doesn't work. Every spot I tried it said the spot didn't exist and I clearly copied the information from the meter.
garbage...standing here looking right at parking meter and this app is telling me it is an invalid space. So what other rating would be deserved.
It only rarely finds the spot number, so this app is typically useless. Would be great if it worked!
Try to use it a 3 spaces and zones all say invalid numbers. Grwat way to make it harder on users just to get tickets.
Wow. Talk about no more pocket change , talk about no more excuses with the meter maid, talk about being alerted so you can put more money in and avoid a parking ticket. Technology has come out of the cave man after all. But I will miss the meter maid.
Unacceptable privacy policy. They need all this so I can pay for parking?
Convenient for paying for parking, especially when you don't have any change.
Zone 5205 on 4th Avenue is a trap. App does not show fee hour info for zone 5205, does not allow advance payment for parking, officers start writing tickets right after 5pm. App instructions for paying citation are incorrect - need to enter BOTH citation AND license number to find ticket.
The app doesn't recognize parking spaces downtown, what's the point?
Easy access without running to the meter
Easy and affordable parking
No way to update expired card
It more convienent than always having to look for change
Flawless and very easy to usr
What a joke. Kept getting Invalid Space number.
The only issue I have with this app is the spot number system. In my experience the zone system worked, but the spot number is not clarified. The meters all have 4 numbers, but the system sometimes drops the first number if it is a zero. Since this is neither clarified on the meters (where you attain the numbers), or clarified in the app (where you enter the numbers), it seems ill thought out.
