App worked fine once... Then it just failed to open at all. It would freeze at the loading screen. Even after uninstalling it and reinstalling it, restarting the phone, and even clearing the cache etc, the app stayed frozen on the opening load screen. App hasn't been updated since 2019, and the creators haven't responded to requests for assistance for years.
App was recommended. But upon using, it seems to only serve the rich and the ones lucky enough to be able to have the nicest watches. My collection of Rotary watches seems to be below the standard accepted by this app (but not Timex or other cheap or badly designed, ugly watches) . It sounded so good though as an idea. And very heavily for the American audience as it doesn't seem to like being told to change to £ pounds sterling. Improve and diversify and I might come back.
Much better than the reviews suggested. The delays people mention are minor. The ability to store your own collection is great. Thought, the depth of the data available to draw on can be limited for certain brands. The range of news and information on watches is excellent. All in all well worth having.
Concept and design is excellent - but - it ends there. Experienced lag and freezing when using certain functions, it hasnt crashed yet but, judging by the reviews that'll come. The WatchBox function is very very limited, which is disappointing, as it was primary reason i got it, after it was rep'd by TGV... I am currently unable to add my watches, even when i can some how find one of them. The database is very week, and lacks many watch brands and models, even with-in the ones that are listed..
while the basic functionality is there, the execution is lacking. the app regularly crashes when trying to manually enter a brand. This would be merelycan annoyance if i was able to add them on my comouter instead but your accounts *existence* doesn't sync accross platforms making the app or the pc the poison youlk have to pic and all rhe bugs that come with it.
In short? It stinks, and I only gave it 1 star because Google Play won't allow me to rate it as 0 stars. It crashes EVERY TIME one tries to add a watch brand into your virtual box not listed in the app. The app itself is a great idea, but the execution of it leaves a LOT to be desired due to its total lack of functionality.
Within the first minute, trying to add my watches to the app, 3 of my watches were not listed in the app. Some of the watches were not even listed properly. I sort of found one watch in my collection and it wasn't able to be clicked. This app needs a lot of work. If WatchBox wants to be taken seriously by the community, they need to provide a quality product. Deleted the app. Maybe one day it will be a worthy product. As of right now it is garbage.
I downloaded and couldn't get anywhere, constantly crashing while adding a watch. Seeing the reviews they don't care about fixing it as almost all the reviews reflect this. Maybe I will try again once they decide to fix the bugs.
Awful app...stuck on initial load screen most of the time. Then if on a rare occasion it does eventually open up, the scroll effect while trying to browse through watches is jumpy and so takes twice as long as it should. Pointless application
After 30 minutes of trying to add two watches I've given up out of frustration due to the app not letting me enter the details of the watch after I select it or the watch not being listed all together, you've got something good going you just need to make the experience smoother
The update brought a lot of nice features but it constantly crashes; I can't tell you on what exact process because it happens all the time throughout the whole interface. Would be good if it was usable again 🤔
it does not even load anymore on my Note9. A page of error text come up then freezes. Watchbox, sack your developer, a perfectly working app is now stuffed! when will this be fixed? all my watch data was loaded on my profile!
This app doesnt work. It's really that simple. Such a shame too because the concept is very useful. Too bad the app barely opens and times out when it finally gets past the startup screen.
I got the app, entered 6 or more watchs, a decent amount of work, now it does not work, just closes when you try to look at your collection. Sent into on crashes, nothing from Watchbox.
Constant bugs, almost never shows my watch collection without forced shutdown. Repeated loss of market value, showing zero dollars for my several $4000+ pieces. Rarely use this app when Watchville and Chrono24 work every time without problems.
Try to add my watches - it crashes. Try to update my profile - it crashes. Try to do anything - it crashes! Would be a great app if I could use it for more than 5 seconds without it shutting down. (Using Google Pixel 2)
while very basic functionalities like looking what's for sell is working, the app crashes as soon as I apply filter to the search, try to change the country or the language or the currency. just stick to the website.
Pretty poor App so far. Very slow, not responsive and times out often meaning information on my watchbox is lost and must be re-uploaded. Very disappointed!
Useless, spent time adding watches to my box, then app promptly crashes whenever I try to access my watch box. Uninstalled and moving on. TGV's plug of this app looked good, but get it fixed.
Couldn't get the app to load. Tried uninstalling the app and reinstalled it. Would only show the watchbox splash page.
should've left older version alone. doesn't show my watches. this version doesn't even open on Note 8. getting "no such column" error message on a black WB background screen.
The concept is good however, app is almost unusable due to lags, bugs, issues, does not find my watch. What a wasted potential
Doesn't work half the time, only saving grace is the presentation. Also missing many watches, couldn't find a diamond index datejust option and selecting my UN straight up didn't work.
Same problem as the other reviews. App used to work but is not functioning on Android anymore. App does not start and stuck on the logo and black screen.
This is a good app for a dumpster fire. Can't find most of my watches with this and support hasn't responded back in a month about two issues. You sure you wanna uninstall? ✅ Yes!
Rarely works. When it does work it's very useful. Crashes frequently. Will repeatedly throw a "request has timed out" error. Personal inventory will occasionally disappear only to reappear a minute later. This app is a mess and really a shame. So much potential here. I came to check it out based on advice from the Urban Gentry. He's missed the mark on this suggestion. FIX IT!!!
