Free version has way too many and way too long ads. I went to purchase full version for the posted price if $2.49 and the price was double. I cancelled and received an instant $1 discount. I started the process again and cancelled and received an offer for the posted price of $2.49. That is a little sneaky and underhanded if you ask me. Good game though.
IT WAS FREE PREVIOUSLY! got new phone, transferred apps over, reopened, low an behold, I had to start again, my previous amounts and level depleted and to find out I had to pay to continue to other parts of the state, I really enjoyed playing this game, you can even play with no internet connection which is great! its a shame that I have to uninstall it, gutted! I hope the developers reconsider in making it free, definately will return to change my ratings at a later date if changes are made 😊
The game can be fun to play but isn't optimized for all phones. For example, you can't play it on a Pixel 6 Pro because the aspect ratio isn't optimized and so essential buttons like "next day" aren't on the screen at all to press so you can only play three games and then you're stuck on the sme first day forever
It's really bad when you lose a hand on the last card 90% of the time. Even when there's only 8 players in a tournament I still can't get a winning hand. I've also noticed that certain characters always gets the best hands and wins just about every tournament. I'll go 15 hands in a row having to fold every time. This game used to be enjoyable but now it's really stressful. Fix the damn game and I'll give you more stars.
ive always liked the game but rhis version is kind of crappy. You get a great hand and bet and then someone always has an unlikely hand thats better. I'd get pocket kings and someone would have pocket aces. Also, after all of the first round of cities, the amount that each player bets is crazy. You have to keep folding to stay in the game. Otherwise, you are out after the first few hands. Whats the fun in that? I wish it was progressively harder not impossible after the first set of cities.
Gets pretty difficult trying to leave the "yellow" cities. Seems like it wants me to buy some game currency to win a $3000 game. Don't go on the riverboat, it just goes to expert level areas. Despite Google Play integration, there's no apparent way to share my game progress across multiple devices or move my saved game to a new device.
Awesome game with a high attention to detail. Only downfall is the screen is cut off on the right hand side even with having quite a large screen on my phone. Too bad there wasn't display settings. Still a fun and entertaining game though!
The game is great, same as the pc version.. the only thing missing i think is the animation of the player walking out the room when he/she losses all his chips.. also the lights on and off when you skip the day is also missing.. and another thing, the oponents are reacting very fast so i give me lesser time to thingk.. but the overall game is really GREAT.. I think i will give 5 stars after my problems are fixed... Thanks...
Don't buy the full map unlock. I liked the concept so I bought the full map. Once you own the yellow cities, and move onto orange, the game becomes a grind. The buildings rocket in price and the rent doesn't increase by much. The tournament buy-ins are high but the rewards are miniscule. You don't get any rent while traveling. That just doesn't make sense. But we all know why they do it. To force people to buy chips. I remember when this was a flash game on Miniclip, it was not like this.
I have played this game on iphone se. And right now playing of poco f1. First the UI does not cover the screen properly. Its shifted to the bottom of the screen. I am not even talking about the notch area graphic. Feels slows and not smooth. As for game play in both ios and Android i felt it wasn't random.
Ad placements are worst..once ad is completed, you cannot even close it to go back to the game. It just keeps repeating the ad even after multiple restarts. Game is nicely designed but what's the use if you have to spend all your energy to figure out how to get out of the ad window!
I love the game. I loved playing it on the computer many years ago. I am pleased that it is now also available as an app on my smartphone. Unfortunately the resolution is not that good. Many menu items can either be seen off-screen or only partially.
It's a really good game, except that it glitches and freezes up when offline. When online everything is running smoothly, but after a complete day offline, it starts to freeze for a moment every 5 seconds.
Love the game. Played it on the computer when it first came out. One problem. I can't purchase the full game it freezes on processing. I've got good internet and have payment hooked up. Everything else works just not being able to buy the whole game
The positive sides to this game are that the graphics and gameplay are decent and the controls are fairly simple but waste of time unless you're willing to spend. Finish the first few games quite quickly to unlock travel to 2 different cities only to have a pop up tell you that to travel you must pay to unlock the full game. No point rewarding you with the travel really is there. Also the volume of ads is irritating and again it's to force you into completing any purchase to get rid of them.
