GovHK Notifications
Major functions include:● Receive notification messages from the Government of Hong Kong SAR;● Select categories of messages they are interested to receive; and● Share notification messages via SMS, email, Facebook, etc.
Note:● Notification messages are sent to mobile devices (with GovHK Notifications installed) through Google cloud services, namely Google Cloud Messaging for Android (GCM) for Android OS devices. Successful or timely reception of notification messages through their cloud services is not guaranteed by the service.● Using GovHK Notifications, data transmission fees may be incurred for transmitting data through mobile devices. You are suggested keeping track of data usage from time to time.● This app operates on Android version 4.1 or above.

dear app developer, now with the opening of the Macao bridge, we are getting many Wind Advisories in the traffic update. Please give an option to switch off such notifications.
Worked well until newest update. Now when I want to know more details about traffic alI I get is a blank screen.
"Improvements the notification" is actually a degradation. You can no longer turn it off. Is there a government app that actually works?

Please install a "Read All" (or similar) function in order to clear the number of unread messages. At the moment, users have to go in to ever single message to mark them as read. If not, the number of unread messages status on the widget icon.
After upgraded to latest Android Lollipop on Sony Xperia Z1, it keeps saying my android version is not supported... Cannot open app at all.
May I ask how to change the language from English to Chinese for this App, please? It is very inconvenient on understanding the name of the road for traffic message while it is not in Chinese.

For upgraded android, go to "setting", click "accessibility", click "dexterity", turn on "assistant menu". A grey/blue menu icon with 4 small squares will appear on screen. Go to this hk govt app. Click the virtual icon, click the blue logo with 3 dots "other options". You can see "setting" here. Choose "language". Thanks to Samsung help desk.
Cannot change the language for the notifications. Need chinese for the road names in the trafic news.

Can't find the setting on my LG G3 after installation of the app, can anybody help?
Can l have the choice for language setting? So, l decided to remove this app until to have improvement.

After the latest update, there is no optional notification ringtone function. Because the optional ringtone is very useful for me that as I hear this special ringtone, I can decide immediately that the just received notification is need to check up instantly or not. 2019_05_24 可否恢復“自選通知鈴聲“功能，或者加設“鈴聲音量控制大小“功能。
