GPS Benchmark
GPS Benchmark app quickly benchmarks the accuracy of GPS and network-based positioning technologies within a mobile device. GPS Benchmark is a quality-control tool for mobile location providers, including:

GPS Benchmark is the ONLY app on Google Play to compare a ground truth location (provided by the user) against the phone's location data to calculate the true error of the positioning system. Other apps can only show the estimated location error that is calculated by the device, which (as GPS Benchmark shows) can be far from accurate.

* To use GPS Benchmark: **
The ground truth location of the mobile device is set by tapping on a satellite map (or manually entering lat/long/alt). The app then measures the error of positions calculated by the phone, generates various statistics on these errors (e.g., min/max/avg horizontal and vertical error, percentiles, etc.) and attaches the results (printout, CSV and KML files) to an email. GPS Benchmark supports benchmarking for GPS and network location providers such as cellular or Wi-Fi network positioning.

In the fused test, the gps no is not showing although running on gps. Also, what's passive?
Just kept crashing every time it was opened.

Used it to check as advised by your GPSTest app and works great. One of the few apps that does give me a TTFF BTW :) Thnx for your great apps dev.
Best app found to robustly test GPS accuracies for Android devices. Full statistics included with output report and CEP/1,2 sigma range KMZ circles created as a bonus for reporting. A good app made by someone versed in GPS and more importantly, Android GPS.
This app is very decent and was extremely useful for me.
When you open it for the first time, you have a choice of what you want to test but after that your stuffed because you no longer have a menu, cannot even close the app, the only way is to uninstall, ,paul
GPS tools
It worked back in the earlier days of 8 to 10 years ago. Now it's worthless garbage. It constantly crashes upon opening on my Galaxy Tab A. It is a real shame that the developers just gave up on it.
