My Samsung Galaxy S7 had a very bad GPS signal. The signal was always difficult to find and easy to lose. The navigation was useless. Apps which needs gps couldn't be used. GPS Connected seems to be an improvement. It is worthwhile trying. Need to test it more for the 5 star. But this tool is worthwhile to try out, with or without GPS connection problems.
I'm happy w/this app because it finally does just the job I need--turn on a notification icon (& keep it on) whenever my GPS is ON. This keeps me from forgetting GPS is on & using up battery when I'm not navigating. Android 10 & later won't show that. My only request to the dev is to make it start up/turn off only when I turn on/off the GPS from the Quick Panel button. But regardless, it's solved my problem. Thank you
It works! Totally. I would give 5 stars if it explained itself a little. No words except 'Lock GPS', 'Unlock GPS'. I don't know what that means but it solves all my problems with GPS inaccuracies. So 4 stars. But it would be nice if ....
Omg I've been struggling with GPS clicking on and off for the last month, I tried everything nothing worked until I got this app, waze and Google maps are now working 100% with no lag or drop out! This app is so good!
Very simply to use but as other reviews mention, it is crying out for a toggle widget. Unintrusive ads. If Endomondo brought you here, be prepared to be surprised; the GPS lock took off over 100m per km on a countryside route I have run many times without the lock.
Does what you expect it to do. It would have been even better if it has a toggle widget that turns green when app is active, gray-ish otherwise.
Not always reliable when screen is off. Edit: New version is slower because of ads.
Thank you for the app developer because it's a great help in my work as a delivery. When in the middle of the buildings will suddenly lose my GPS signal.
Terrific. Does what it says, no funny business. No hassle. Keeps the gps active while I switch apps and that's what I needed.
It actively runs in the background, and I can see the stats on the notification bar. Well done 👍
Easy to use. Seems to work reliably. Solved 'GPS Signal loss' issue.
I was so fustrated I thought I needed a new Android after upgrading to Oreo 8.1 now my prayers where answered. Finally I never lose connection with my Google Go navigation app. Thanks a million
sometimes i lost gps, i dont know if it is due to gps connected not locking properly or just lost signal. Better to have this app than not
Just what I needed. My GPS signal weak and intermittent. This fixed it.

This did not fix my GPS problems. I used GPS Status & Toolbox, specifically the AGPS reset to fix my GPS problems...
Adverts are full screen and too annoying to bother using the app
in mobile setting allow restart at back ground then work smoothly like who say not work. try and change mobile setting

Works, does use some extra battery, but accuracy is worth it.
GPS got really unreliable out of nowhere and I use it for work all the time. Tried updating rom, downgrading, clearing caches, reinstalling relevant apps, nothing worked. Really didn't want to go through a factory reset, had no idea if it would help anyway. Found this after a Google search, as long as it's active all is well now. Couldn't be happier.
