GPS Guard
GPS Guard need you to allow mock locations functionality to work properly. You can allow mock locations under DEVELOPER SETTINGS in APPLICATIONS. Android 4.3+ users need to enable DEVELOPER SETTINGS by going to SETTINGS-ABOUT and pressing 7 times on the BUILD before they can enable ALLOW MOCK LOCATIONS option. GPS will stay on, but the applications will get useless data.
Please note, that this app may not work on all Android versions and devices. If it does not work for you then send me an email.

i have the developer options unlocked and have done what the instrucktion say bit the app still will not activate
Crashes after it asks to open settings
It WAS working on my 5.1.1 devices but first one, a Kyocera device suffered GPS blocking even with Whitelist being ticked; then this LG has suffered the same issues recently. Yes, system was updated. Google's tampering I suspect. On OS 6.0 generic and 6.0.1 permission is granted, but a steady whining about it needing that done pops up. Look into it or it's uninstlled.
Don't bother downloading this app it does absolutely nothing besides waste space. uninstalled!!

Warning: I read in the details of another app that if you force down a process which is programmed to wake up and run anyway, it will drain the battery quicker. I also found that my phone got SCARY HOT while using this one night. Scrambled to uninstall apps and updates requiring GPS, then got rid of this one. Now having to reinstall what I dumped. :-(
Didn't work on 5.1 even though I white listed every single app.
Can not activate the Development in settings. Reason being, message pops up telling me my phone as well as the applications will not behave properly. As I have Operating System 6.1, therefore app won't work for me. Samsung Galaxy S7.
It only remove the GPS icon from notification. GPS is still ON in the background.
