I've had this installed for a while but finally gave it a try today. Wanted to test some different maps on my car and just can't take the data seriously. Was mainly trying to do 0-60 runs and found that by the time you safely slow down it's already too late to "save" the run. 0-60 times didn't seem accurate from run to run. My car definitely can't do 0-60 in 3 seconds flat. LOL Also would sometimes get an 1/8 mile time but no 0-60. I did like 10 runs total. Only 5 were saved. Im uninstalling.
It has everything you could ask for a free app! GPS strength, changeable settings, and low to no adds. I've used in multiple phones. App gives consistent results
Exactly as described, setting the mph range is very simple and the timing is extremely accurate much more so than other GPS based timers on here most of which I have tried and are rubbish. This is a great accurate easy to use app.
I have version 1.72 and a good GPS signal, and still experienced that it only timed my driving once. Pressing Reset didn't help. Current and max speed are working and seem to be accurate.
Inconsistently working, no readings at all after reset. Have to completely shut the app down and kill it in running apps to get it to work again. Even then it was inconsistent. Had to do 5 or more runs to get it to work.
Nice app except that it doesn't work after the first start. I have to close the app and restart it to get it to work again. Reset function resets the timers, but the timers won't start once I start moving again.
No app that uses your phone's GPS is going to be accurate... But this one is terrible. Here is an example: good GPS signal, 9.0 second 0-60, and a 14.1 second 1/4 mile @81. In no world would a car ever have a pulled those numbers off together 9 seconds is slow and 14.1 is extremely fast. You're better off using a stop watch and a camera to record your 0-60 and marking out 1/4 mile on the road... Don't waste your time with this app or any other app that records your cars acceleration
the app is a little off to my onboard zero to 60 timer and quarter mile timer. my 2015 Challenger does 0 to 60 in 5 seconds in the quarter mile in 13 .58 at 103 miles an hour. the app had me doing 0 to 60 in 6.1 seconds but the quarter mile in 12 seconds at 96miles an hour. but all in all it's still fun to use.
Acurate. When GPS signal is at 100, the app is really accurate. My Honda Civic's official 0-100km time is 9.5s. On a cold evening, with intake temps reading @ 23C, I got 8.9s 0-100km using the app. The road was reletively flat too.
Never could get it to work. Other race timer type app worked fine though. Idk. Galaxy Note8. Edit: in response to developers response: yeah I left it on for like 20 minutes. Never worked. Other, similar app worked instantly though.
Can I rate it Half a star? I have 2 phones, I ran the app on both devices simultaneously, my 0 - 100 gave me 9.7 secs on the first and 6.2 on secs on the second cellphone. Conclusion: WOOOOORTHLEEEEEEEEESSSS!
Works well as long as you have a good gps signal. It's nice because one can set a starting speed so one can do rolling starts.
Please pay attention to this comment. If you are going to build an app with a race timer, you must ensure that the timer actually works. It's so disappointing because everything else as expected except for the one things that would have made this app a success. You guys dropped the ball! Smh.
Useless. Gives completely random figures. I didn't expect a GPS app to be accurat but 1/4 mile of 5 seconds and 0-100 of 9.1 is simply impossible.
Gps speed is accurate but getting it to clock 0_60 times is completely random and there is no way to tell it to start a run. Going to try another app.
Pretty useless , times are far far off and completely random as it guesses when to start the clock and there is no consistency even though your actual time is identical
it is a little off. my car is slow. it said I did 1/4 in 15 flat. but the car brand new did it 15.7 still all stock. and 178k on it.but it's free and works decent .I was in a valley maybe not good enough signal. I'll Rey it again soon.
Who needs to spend a few hundred bucks when this thing works great. I compared this to a dragy and it was identical! Wish they would just have a start/stop button.
Tried to run in to 0-60 today the GPS and the speed was fine and accurate but it wouldnt register the 0-60 so it's pointless. Uninstalling
Didn't work forever and when it finally did the times were a joke. 310whp 0-60 times of 6.7-7.8 seconds! My old gtech gave me 4.2 sec times. I haven't seen times this slow since my 89 shadow es turbo.
Easy to use. Seems like it is a more accurate way to get 0-60 and time to 1/4 mile than timing it manually
How do you start a run? It displays current speed, has a reset button that seems to work but doesn't record a run
Works sometimes. No telling about the accuracy seems to start late when it does work. Bye bye.
Didnt work and also showed higher top speed when accelerating (i.e. I topped at 62-63, but the app showed 70)
It does not calculate time correctly. The distance it said I traveled to 60 mph, did not equate to time spent. unless the time space continuum has shifted.
Completely useless failed to register a single 0 to 100kmh time even with 100% gps signal. Waste of time.
This didn't work. I had a full GPS signal, the current & max speed were running ok, but the timer in 0 - 60 mode didn't work. Both readings (time & speed) stayed at zero. Ran the car up to 72 mph with the sound alert on. No readings, no sound through 60 mph. Tried it with both modes on (0 - 60 & quarter mile) and just 0 - 60 mode on. Pressing reset didn't seem to work and tried closing and reopening the app. Nothing. A waste of time & fuel.
