As a Truck driver that works nights overall its fairly accurate and simlple to use.. The only draw backs are that the actual speed is smaller than the last version so its harder for me to see. The pop up adds are REALLY DISTRACTING at 3am. I undersand ya gotta pay for devlopment and id gladly kick you a few bucks just to get rid of them but i dont see anything in the app that allows me to get it "Add free". Over all a great app!
My favourite speedometer. Simple interface on black background that drains less battery. Free app with No ads! Would be nice if there's an option to show elapsed/moving time. Tks! Edit: also it would be great if what Richard Nicholls has suggested below could be implemented: "able to reset the average speed with a tap n hold"
Great App, displays the speed + average in easy to read way, handy for those areas when there are Average Speed Camera's over long distances to keep it in check. Edit Mar-2021: liking the update, including pinch zoom, thanks for adding my suggestion to hold and reset the avg speed. Have 2 new suggestions: 1) altimeter (maybe along bottom of screen?) based on GPS not barometer 2) paid version to remove Ads. Keep up the good work
Developer explained to me about pinch zoom. Not something obvious I would think to do, but it works and makes the numbers big enough to see 😀 Be better in settings for me (Im old and not tech savvy). 5 stars again! I still prefer the version I had in Feb 2021 before update. I see you have adds now, and I understand you deserve money for your work. Maybe you can have something in the settings ...'basic' (like old app), 'technical' (like current app), and buy app to remove adverts. All are happy
Not very accurate , speed will jump around when you are driving a steady speed by as much as 6 mph. The layout is great tho, it shows the clock which is great .
It was a great app but now the ads are too bright at night and to distracting. I would be happy to pay for an add free version but they don't have that option. I will have to find something else in the meantime
App updated mid-March 2021 but this is not (yet) reflected in the Google Play Store. Was initially disappointed as size of the display suddenly tiny whereas large, simple display was its strength. After reading similar issue mentioned in other recent reviews & response from developers I now know that large display is restored simply by pinch-zooming the screen. This should be mentioned upfront and developer would be wise to point this out when updating info on the Store page.
Only improvement I'd like is the units (km/h) to be below the speed as it's cut off if you have enabled screen magnification/zoom, otherwise perfect.
After the update, it loads much slower. It says its warming up. Before the update, it loaded right away. Instant speed.
Exactly what i was after, simple and clean, GPS speed only, no fluff, couldn't be easier to use. Thanks!
Brilliant! Simple and accurate app! Having the option for 'max attained speed' would make this app even better, would happily pay for this!!
Acurate and no bloody ADDS..thank you....since the update it is BLOODY USELESS ...INTERUPTING ADDS .it has been corupted FFS. RUBBISH NOW....tried to use on a highway trip adds adds blasted adds past useless....should be banned for use...TOTAL RUBBISH
Its straight forward & easy to use. Numbers are big and clearly displayed. I recommend this app for a speedo gauge
It works as it's description. You just need to learn. More about gps workings. For this app. Other than that it works perfectly

Works like a charm actually more accurate than the one in my dashboard then again I'm more accurate than my dashboard (it's broken)lol

It kept resetting average speed every few seconds.
It simply does one thing it does it well: show your current speed.

This app was amazing! Very simple display and large. I used to love it! All the other apps for speed are garbage. It was great for 3yrs that I used it because my van speedometer is broken. After update today it is just like the other apps, its useless. I can't even see my speed anymore. Looks like I am going back to google maps with same small numbers for speed that I cannot see 😔 Please change back to old display, or at least give an option for this in the menu!
