GPS Tether

Nice work my friend. Just what I've been looking for. Just did a test run and worked perfectly. Had to change my settings to always allow so itd keep up with the app in the background but had I read more reviews would have realized that. Will only update if I run into issues. Otherwise seems to be right on. Using with Samsung Note 9 and Amazon Fire 10 11th gen

does not work. I tried , and tried but wouldn't work. installed the app on both the fire hd and my phone. set wifi sharing from the phone and wifi receiving from the fire, still it does not improve anything while the fire is connected to hotspot of my phone. does not even indicate whether or not there is any connectivity in between these two.

Thanks for great app.i using it for my raspberry pi to send gps from my pixel phone to it. My suggestion to improve your app is ability to run at background, because when my phone screen being off, raspberry can't receive gps information .(I use android 10) Please redesign your app for landscape mode,I think it's too big..

Now works perfectly sharing wifi from my Nokia 7+ and receiving on Fire HD 8 table. It took some trial and error to ascertain that both devices must be awake and on the sharing device, the app needs to be active (on top). Works fine with Google maps, TomTom Go mobile and Waze. Top class app for no cost or ads.

I just got this app so i could share my android phone gps with my kindle fire 10. I want to use the larger screen. First i did have to side load the kindle to run gooogle play. Not hard just be sure to load the files in the correct order. Next i downloaded this GPS Tether app to both devices. Third i connected the kindle to the internet via my phome hot spot. Last i set up gps tether, which is very easy. It works like a charm. Now im waitIng for my car mount to arrive so i can use this.

Just installed it 5 minutes ago between a Moto G9+ and Joying Android head unit. The Joying has a wired external GPS receiver but it very unreliable. The app worked very easily and was accurate.

Thanks for this great app. Use in conjunction with my fire tablet so it can have GPS. Been using for 3 years now and have been pleased with the updates. Stability has got better and background usage has reduced.

Great app! Is it possible to share via local network? Not just hotspot? Edit: For those who can't make it to work. On sharing device over bluetooth, you also need to enable WiFi sharing (hotspot does not to be on), it should work fine over BT.

Works but my firewall blocks it so i have to keep turning off my firewall to make this work. Solution: changed my firewall. So it works on Waze, but not on Google Maps though.

The user interface leaves a lot to be desired. It sort of works, however, I get an 'overflow detected' information message. There is no way to determine what data is being returned from the app; so impossible to determine what the root cause is.

Absolute junk. Started the app on my phone and then on my chromebook after setting it to dev mode - didn't see a mock setting. Both apps do nothing. There's 30 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

It literally does nothing. all is doors or turn on some icons from grey to color it doesn't look for anything it doesn't say there's anything happening nothing changes on either device it literally does nothing.

It works for my Amazon Fire tablet I added Google apps so that I could add maps to the tablet and then I Hotspot from my Wi-Fi of my phone along with this GPS app I'm able to use Google Maps just fine I'd even pay something for it if there was a paid donation way.

Works well most of the time, doesn't auto reconnect which is a shame. Worth perseverance tho'.

it works perfectly and has no ads. great for providing gps to car tablet and it works through the hotspot on my phone seamlessly.

The only GPS tether I could get to work. Simple and amazing. Using two android 10 devices (phone to smartwatch)

This app worked on my LG5G, LGG4, S5, S8, S9, window 7, 10 through GPS Gate. running XCAl, TEMS, microsoft streets & Trips, Google Earth, Delorme Street Atlas, Nemo, all at one time. must have app.

Worked like a charm, easy easy easy. I use this to connect my Fire HD8 to utilize Google Maps.

Saying it is easy to use would be an understatement, this app is a must have if you have a wifi only tablet and want to use it as a navigation device

LG G6 to Amazon HD Fire 10 working great! This was the only app that could install on both sides AND you can use Bluetooth or hotspot.

perfect over wifi with galaxy s10+ and toshiba satellite l55t over hotspot wifi TCP debuging ok nmea sentence ok position and bearings adquired just perfect. Thanks for this great job!!!
