GPS Widget - GPS Coordinates
The altitude is queried from open MapQuest API which yields in a more accurate result than receiving the altitude by GPS. So this widget is also interesting for hiking (altimeter).
GPS coordinates can save lifes in emergency situations (e.g. when you get lost in the mountains).

Locked features (can be unlocked with some Good Karma ;-)):o Share your location with friends via SMS, Email, etc. o Different location formats are supported (Latitude and Longitude in Decimal Degrees, Degrees/Minutes, Degrees/Minutes/Seconds, Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM), w3w (what3words.com))
Note 1: To save battery power you should switch off the widget when you do not need it. You can force the widget to switch off automatically after some time in the settings.
Note 2: This is no GPS toggle widget. You can not turn on and off GPS. You simply get clear information about your current location.
To add widget press: Home->Menu->Add->Widgets->GPS Widget

I just installed this app and It works very well. I am very satisfied that the widget physically shows whether the GPS is on or off. I especially appreciate that it actually shows the status as I was originally had a Windows Phone and I was very used to that system's live tiles. Thank you!
Does the job flawlessly. Well designed app! If only there was a way to hide the settings button (config could easily be done when setting up the widget and then changed by removing it and setting up a new one)
Position must show degree, minutes, second But this one only shows degrees. Pro version also not so standard. Please fix all.
I would rate it higher if I could display the units in feet rather than meters.
really good widget. my request is there is a widget shows coordinat in notification bar like internet speed, its very usefull for surveyor who use gps app
So far so good! Adverts only on set up page so that is very good.
No UTM, it is locked, you can earn "carma" by downloading apps, but doesnt say if it unlocks it...
i have it for years and love it. it works even in the outback.
You have to have good karma points to change the latitude and longitude settings

It has auto switch off. It cool!
It's very helpful, but takes a lot of battery, and offline it is not very efficient.
Its neat. Not nearly as useful as I thought it would be, but I think that's because of where I am in life. My only complaint is that I wish it showed US measurements instead of metric.
Just what I needed. Wish I could get rid of buttons off the screen. They are too big. could be accessed with a tap and not clutter Edit: buttons are still too big. Wish I could adjust font size.
