Grand Gin Rummy

The "flushing toilet" sound that begins each game is very appropriate! It would save time though if they just added a "give my opponent all of my chips" button. Think you can "earn" chips for watching a video? Think again! That feature has not worked for the past month! Games are supposed to be fun - not frustrating. Do yourself a favor and skip this particular game.

Nice layout like the old feel but, way too many poor connections, has to be their server bc I don't get them with other games. Holding a good hand then you loose bc of poor connections. Until that problem is fixed, stay away from this game.

I love the game. I do refuse to play guests but love the game. I have been debating removing the game, I don't mind the ads and I love the free credits from watching ads but the surveys have to go. The last set had my phone ringing all hours of the day and night so I refuse to do them and I hate restarting the game since you can't bypass it. Will give it a few more days

Not a bad game! But I like the original Grand gin rummy classic that had the practice mode! I don't always have the time to get on and play against somebody in case I get interrupted! As usual, they take a good thing and mess it up by updating and upgrading what was perfectly fine before. I believe I'm going to end up finding another site for gin rummy 🙃

it's a great, addicting game! it's easy to find and challenge friends, there are great quick games it's good all together. so why only 2⭐ u ask? first you're not really going to be able to keep playing unless u buy chips i bought more chips to keep playing, and i got my first batch, but then i bought the $4.99 chips and i NEVER RECEIVED THEM! I sent message after message, pic after pic of the Google pay receipt and they keep asking me for over and over again and then they don't find a resolution.

Slow, slow, slow, game is fixed to firce you to make an in app purchase, keeps freezing at critical points, keeps saying internet connection slow, doesn't happen with any other app I have!!!! Don't bother with this app. 😞

I have become convinced that Grand Gin Rummy is absolutely not a skill-based app. Over and over again it proves there is internal manipulation that prevents players to progress no matter what their skill level. I have been playing honest gin rummy for over 30 years. Yes, of course, there is an element of chance, as in all gin rummy games, but the consistency of interference is way beyond chance. While I cannot prove interference, I am personally convinced that internal controls are at play here. In my view that makes this app a lot less enjoyable.

It's a great version of Gin Rummy. I have 2 complaints: 1) You can't play against a specific opponent, it's entirely random; 2) Each player puts in a certain amount of coins, but you only win HALF of what you're opponent puts in...where does that other 25% go?

A VERY good implementation! I like the "practice" mode my version has and wish they would put it back in other/updated versions. However... I feel it cheats at times (do all games do this???) and is a bit frustrating. I'd rather lose fair and square. I know... blah blah whine whine 😂

Dont buy chips for this game. While game is easy to play and navigate, chips are lost to the maker EVERY match. i.e. 2 people playing classic mode in pro each pay 1000 chips to play with the loser losing all 1000 and the winner only winning 500. So every classic pro game is 2000 to enter and only,1500 is paid out. Not knocking the game itself because its a good one, just advising against paying for chips

Great graphics but unrealistic game play. Of the two gin rummy games developer offers this is the best for casual play. Don't play version 2 unless you want a more competitive game. Also, version 2 is a money pit. Only issue I have with this game is not a lot of live players. You play AI who is named "Guest" most of the time. Lowered my rating on this version because of this. Don't believe developer about you only play real people. That's a lie. "Guest" will beat you repeatedly. So unrealistic.

I think Grand Gin Rummy is the most fun of the Rummy games offered; HOWEVER, I'm disappointed that I am unable to load to my laptop (when I choose not to use the battery on my iPad). If this can be done, I'd love someone to offer directions as my inquiry always takes me back to my iPad, telling me I'm already installed.

again like many others my experience is that this is a brilliant game spoilt by the "poor connection" thing......there is no poor connection though🤔 I was on it at full ping capacity and it still lost me connection and I didnt move from the place I was at for an hour playing it fine.....obviously it's a game bug so it needs to be sorted or I'm going to go play another tummy game elsewhere. 😤sorry to be harsh but it needs saying.☹

I love this game but you only getting 3 stars because I am sick of people leaving half way through a game and also suspect with people winning hand within 30 seconds of starting, one guy won 6 games in a row in quick succession. ... start banning those who drop out or paying using the out of time which is also very annoying

Fun game, very addictive. Their bottom line is, of course to "hook" you then get your money. Nothing is as random as an old fashion deck of cards. Screw the oligarchy.

Game is stupid, you play have the winning hand and still lose. Don't waste your time. If you complain to customer service about the game messing up they just tell you that you don't win every hand. But when you undercut or beat the other player and lose that's a problem not just losing.

This is the best gin rummy game I've ever played! Good tutorial for those not familiar with the game. Love the graphic style of the game, hotel setting and the music. Relaxing.

it's a money pit. can't get enough coins to keep playing. check in every day for a few coins. can play about 3 rounds a week. found a new app that i can enjoy.

I enjoy this app very much. I like that I can play w real people. It also offers different levels & game types to appeal to many. i harldly ever have technical issues w the app either.

i love this game, but it has been saying that im not online. clearly that's not accurate, as I'm leaving a review. online. so... what gives? Edit: it was fixed with the most recent update. Ill give 4 stars, but i am annoyed that i used the chat feature and never received a response from your team. Better customer service would get you that fifth star.

The game is the Pitts. It cheats real bad and then it has the nerve to add 15 extra points to a already cheated hand. It doesn't like when you win a game it will start going down in one and two pulls of the cards and believe me in the 2 pulls you will never pull anything to help your hand.
