Grand Gin Rummy 2: The classic Gin Rummy Card Game

**UPDATED REVIEW* This game used to be fun. It is rigged to keep you from winning so you'll purchase coins. Discarded cards reappear in the draw pile, and it is nearly impossible to level up anymore....been playing for months and haven't leveled up once! Graphics and colors are beautiful. Lots of rewards....but something has changed. Rarely win anymore. It is set up for you to lose everything so you are forced to buy more coins or gems. And what's with playing the same players over and over?

My original rating was 5*, changing this to 1. Having played on and off for many months, this game is far too heavily weighted. You could spend an absolute fortune and never progress to the bigger tables. It's fun to play as long as you're happy to lose! Have complained in game and received a standard response. Understand the concept of pay to win but ........ annoying!

I have now lowered my rating on this game for the second time and would give it a zero if that was available. This is a great gin rummy game if you don't mind losing and spending big money to play it. My rating continues to drop for this game as game play has become more unrealistic. Losing streaks are very common. Winning streaks no. Getting first card pass option when hand is dealt now only happens 5% of the time? That should tell you the game algorithm is messed up. Developers please fix!

I love Rummy. The interface is pleasing to look at and the mechanics easy enough for me to pick up. I've not been playing long, so I don't know how it will be on the micro - charge level yet. No complaints so far! Enjoying!

Fun game, but I can only get into it about one out of ten tries. Update: Got in and got free coins, but then it was frozen. Couldn't do anything else. Only app I have problems with. Update: tried to go to inventory and game is frozen. I don't see a "Help" option.

I enjoy the dame si.it doesn't really matter what level I am at. But u am convinced its rigged. I've played for a long time and always make it up earlier ranks but as soon as u hit a particular amount of chips the opponent always gets the better hand and easily wins. I'm sure this is to coerce me into buying chips. Thus is regular and consistent and impossible to be put down to chance or playing skill. It happens all the time without fail. No fun if losing is pre determined.

This game is conflicting. The UI and experience are amazing. Card randomization is absolute trash. I play several rummy games and have never had so many losses in a row. I've also never seen so many games where my opponents knock in the first three rounds. After dozens of games, I've never been close to knocking before round 3. On any app. It seems like it constantly pushes you down so it pressures you to buy chips to be able to play.

Horrible! You can literally predict what cards are coming up next each and every turn. The computer plays all the cards you don't want first (including your opponent), then it ends up playing the ones you need at the end. In other words, there's no chance involved. Some of the behaviors are ridiculous. One game I was at 197 points and my opponent had 0 points, but the game forced me to lose 8 massive hands in a row. Ridiculous.

Fun to play with others. Much better than just playing against a bot. Lots of rewards and incentives to keep you interested as you refine your skills and move up the Divisions. The graphics are so well done! The best Gin Rummy out there.

Great game-play; graphics are fairly "fluid", if you will (positive); Ads are marginalized, so, it seems as if the creator(s) of this game have taken nuisance ads into consideration. However, because of avatars being the only profile pic option, I'm not quite sure that I'm playing against a human-being each time.

This game is the best (graphically) out there...If only it wasn't so restrictive and it just seems kinda... Rigged?? Also when you lose, you lose so much that you're forced to either wait for more coins hours later or buy more... Which is pretty much a big money grab to me. Too bad. I really wanted to like this game.

Something's gone wrong! I've been playing this game for a long, long time and now it won't load no matter what I do. Cleared the cache, restarted my phone, I uninstalled it and now it won't reinstall! So frustrating because this was my favorite game, I guess it's time to move on.

I have no idea how this game ended up with such a high review, so many negative 1 star comments. Appearance is very enjoyable, the challenges are great. HOWEVER, I flatly refuse to fork out any more money to play, due to the algorithm pattern, has become ridiculously predictable and down right frustrating. I do realise, you are a company and need to make money, but honestly, pull your socks up guys and sort your algorithm out.

I like gin a lot, but to echo what so many other reviewers have said: this game is rigged. And it's not fun because of it. You can have a good luck streak and get tens of thousands of coins... And then the game will take them all away. And you can get just enough free coins a few times a day to play (and lose) one game. For days at a time. That's not fun. And I'm not giving them my money, so I guess I'm uninstalling in favor of a gin game that actually lets me PLAY.

The best gin rummy app, unfortunately the latest update made it unplayable. Can only navigate two clicks before the app freezes, constantly having to reboot. When I do manage to play, I search for a game for several minutes and no game found so I don't even get to play.

This game is so rigged! The players are mostly bots & once you get some coins, you lose the next several games & have to buy coins or wait 4 hours to play again. If you have a pair of cards & discard one, the one you need to make a set will show up right after you discarded. If you look at the stats of the players, no one has a winning % over 55%. This is unrealistic. I've played gin rummy for decades & there are good players who win 60 to 70 percent of the time. Not here. I just uninstalled.

I am enjoying this game. The only complaint I have is that players that have just started this game seem unbeatable. I have found that they often knock very early and win. I check opponents after these games and yup, new player. I have a question. I have experienced quite often that when it appears that I am close to winning the opponents disconnect. I then get the win, but do they lose when doing that? I have purchased some chips because I remember when shareware was offered and it right to pay

The algorithm is noticeably being unfair. You will keep winning several times after buying from the shop, then it will go downhill from there. Even when you think you'll surely win after 125-0 points, nah the bot gonna cut you up from there. Gonna spend whatever left in the game then uninstall it. Not worth your money.

You have to spend so much money on this game to compete. There is seriously something up with the dealing too. I've thrown cards away only to draw them again 2 plays later. I've spent money and not gotten the purchase. Spent 100 bucks and it was gone in a day in their competitions. You win win win at first to pull you in then you have people gin in 1 draw. I don't care how much they say their algorithms are fair, they're not....

Very addictive game. But all of asudde the game is not working. I tried and unistalled it and then reinstalled 4 times but the game does not starts. It is stuck and says that some more guests are arriving and after that it is stuck.

My win ratio was always around 50%, it grew over time with my skill improving, so I don't think there's anything but a random normally distributed algorithm at play, even though sometimes it feels like it. 😅 The game of course has incentives to spend real money on it: the entry-win ratio is 2:1 for example, but you have free chips every 4hrs and the cheapest game is entry-win ratio 1:1, so you can always play, maybe not 1st place in the weekly league. :)
