Some controls could be better sure, but I'm on the last island, halfway through those missions so if you are a had review because there is an "impossible" missing due to the controls, it's because of players inability to pass them. Great nostalgic game! Also, swimming and jumping out of cars wasn't in gta3, that didn't become a feature until later versions.

What a nostalgia fueled rollercoaster! Absolutely excellent port and worked perfectly fine on my Pixel 6 Pro. I've seen comments complaining about controls, either you need a new device with more screen real estate or maybe you aren't the programer you believe yourself to be. No issues with any missions. One small bug, lights and trees act odd when you're at the Airport (look to the right) and in Stanton Island coming towards the park. Other than that, exactly like 2001 all over again!

(coming from using a PS4 controller) The second best GTA mobile port. Problems found in GTA 3 are "solved" more or less in GTA Vice City. While camera, combat, and driving much more difficult to control using a controller compared to it's console version, the lack of punishment for failing missions alleviates the frustration one would having playing on it's original release. circle+up changes camera & circle+down opens the map.

it takes me back, really enjoying the game so far, but. it gets laggy and glitchy sometimes, even on my new Galaxy s10+ on moderate settings. Another problem i have with this game is sometimes when i save the game, I'm just staring at a blank screen, it also happens when i fail a mission and go on to hit replay, it doesn't let me, the options are there but faded, and that's where it gets annoying, it doesn't even let me back into the game. it's just stuck the on the retry mission title 😐

Such a good game! Have loved this since early childhood and happy to report the Android port is excellent! I see a lot of complaints that the driving is impossible, I honestly dont know what they're talking about. I set the controls to analogue driving and dont have any problems navigating around, pulling perfect skid turns and threading tight spaces with ease, certainly easier than back in the day playing it on my PC. If you loved this game, you'll love this.

So Great! With a few minor glitches. Other than a few glitches due to it not originally being a mobile game, this is purely Amazing! I'm so glad because in many ways, this has better graphics than the original PS2 version (my favorite video game of all times). To my surprise, there's no loading between entering a new part of the city when crossing bridges etc.

The aiming is a bit clunky but you should get used to it eventually. Some missions are hard to complete but again, everything is possible with enough practice. However, unless you're looking for the old nostalgy, I would buy one of the succeeding titles instead (VC or SA), there's just a lot more to do in those actionwise, better gameplay and more content.

The controls are good, the driving is two arrows instead of a joystick but it's easy to master. Doesn't lag at all in my experience. There is one glitch, occasionally the menu will be messed up and won't register choosing anything and the only way to fix it is to clear cache so this is a little annoying. Great game overall though.

Excellent port of the PS2 classic! Even with the settings maxed out it still runs smoother than butter. The touch controls take some getting used to; sure. I myself don't own a Bluetooth controller; so I cannot comment on that aspect. Although I can say that if you take the time, the touch controls will feel like second nature. Great job Rockstar!!

This game is very fun to play, but there are some issues that stop me from rating it higher. The camera feels a bit too zoomed in, and really limits the field of view. The touch controls are a bit difficult to use and the lack of camera control makes this problem more apparent. The game itself is a great port of the original and the improved visuals are a great plus. The story is alright, a bit crude compared to later installments but still enjoyable.

classic game. great to play it after all these years however... the driving is near impossible on mobile even after I changed it to analog controls, however I can suffer that as I understand moving from console to mobile was always going to have slight issues. the biggest gripe I have is when I go to menu it is just blank. It shows me no options. also if I fail a mission it says 'retry' but doesn't show me yes or no so I can't click anything. please fix and I'll give it 5 stars like San Andreas

For mobile platform it's definitely a great game to have. The nostalgia is great with the upscaled graphics, it works well. i cant say i experienced any major glitches, but it did stop randomly onve or twice. Still, this is a good port considering everything works. The controls take time since its touch. However, with a Bluetooth controller everything is so smooth. would recommend to fans of the seris or even those who haven't had the chance to play the 1st 3-D Universe GTA.

This game has not aged well. I bought it and san andreas for some nostalgia as I loved all the gta games when I was younger and GTA 3 introduced me to the series. However, playing it now reveals a lot of flaws that I overlooked when I started. The missions are repetitive and a lot of annoying time based missions. The controls are clunky, along with the unbalanced gameplay mechanics (m16 goes through a magazine in 2 seconds) make it a flawed experience.

I think that the game is an awesome blast from the past. I connected the Stadia controller to the Pixel 5 using USB C cable and it worked to play the game, except for moving the camera while driving, but other than that, it works. Now, if only they would update the app to work flawlessly on the Nvidia Shield or Google TV, all would be right in the world.

I love the game just as much as when i was 10. So far threw out the game on mobile, i have found it very difficult and frustrating as i can not complete "silence the sneak". Ive tried countless times to land the granade in the window, only for it to bounce out , or go completely off target. Suggestions on how to get a more accurate throw

The controls are so glitchy, the game is hardly playable. While driving, the controls will lock up and not allow you to steer and accelerate at the same time and the gas will simply not work sometimes. Also, while shooting, the only option is the auto aim, which doesn't work. I've reached out to support and have gotten no reply. The link posted for web support is broken. I want my money back and I hope you don't waste yours.

Overall this classic from the GTA franchise brings back in a lot of ways the nostalgia of what I can only personally express as GTA in its prime age... A lot of the controls are difficult to handle with comfort on my Lenovo tablet, mostly because navigating through your surroundings is restricted to touching the touch screen from the middle and not freely such as the better setup of the GTA San Andreas app. What also stirred my boat the wrong way is that one is not able to personalise controls to your liking as I've experienced through the much appreciated Vice City game. Overall it still brings out the memories someone might experience from playing the game on its original Playstation 2 format and thats why I give it a much deserved 4 star rating overall; well done GTA!

This is a pretty fine port of a pretty good game, this version is easy to pick up and play but the game contains many annoting bugs and glitches both visually and gameplay wise and even the base game does have some annoying problems that are just due to problems of the time, like not being able to jump out of a car, and not being able to swim at all...the missions in this games are extremley frusturaring, but somehow extremeley satisfying to beat

This game sometimes crashes on my Samsumg Galaxy J7 Prime - like when saving games, or leaving it paused for a long while. I also find the main menu a bit confusing to find but the rest is good. Also, there's no motorcycles, but they do have unique stunt jumps. I would also like to add that I have both Liberty City Stories and Vice City and GTA III is the game that functions the least. Not too bad though.

For me its absolutely worth the small price, its nostalgia via mobile device. The controls are not good, even for mobile, i have zero coridination for mobile games, especially when the buttons are so close together, im playing on a S21 5g, i cant tell you how often im hitting the wrong button, or nothing at all, Im getting better, but your experience may vary. Other than the control difficulty curve, its fantastic, & just for a fiver you have the perfect time waster.

The Driving is Great, Its easy to turn and navigate. I love the graphics they look very good. The sound is nostalgic, however too limited and repetitive. I gave 3 stars mostly because of the shooting mechanics! they are horrible, I cant aim well without a controller (and I havent got mine yet). To mode the game was my only sollution since cheats on my device are not supported. Generally San Andreas is more succesfull from my experience

I love the game. However, there is one issue. When using a controller, instead of having the actual button showing up on the helpful messages, it shows the touch screen button. For example, it would still say something like "Press (virtual button) to accerelate" when using a controller. It should say "Press A to accerelate" when you are using a controller. Why doesn't it do this? It does this in GTA Liberty City Stories, so it should be possible here. PLEASE add this.

A great port of the 2001 original with improved visuals and runs incredibly smoothly without issues (Android 11). However, the camera is horrid which doesn't help with the shooting and the analog steering becomes irresponsible which screwed me up a lot of times while driving. This is why I rate it 3 stars.
