Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

I paid money... for this? It looks great and plays okay but it keeps crashing in the middle of missions losing the progress. Pointless and a waste of money. Plus the graphics can't keep up with the speed of the car so cars on the road ahead suddenly appear out of nowhere. I'm on an S22 Ultra, I'd expect it to run smoothly without crashes. Waste of money.

Would give it 5 stars because it's all there, the entire game with it's wonky graphics and hilarious npc in all it's glory just like it used to be back in the days. My only issue is the controls dynamic with the camera. Not being able to control the camera at all times and the controls being a bit wonky makes for some rather frustrating times trying to navigate the map. But for being a mobile game this is worth it's money.

I have 2 problems: 1st It's extremely hard to aim with this commands (moving too slow). Plus when I shot, it happens that my aiming is moved away, so sometimes it's hard to shot multiple shots at one target. 2nd There are bugs and it happens sometimes that my gas padal won't work. It make it hard when I am running away, racing against time or flying. Other things that I am missing from original game is such as riding bike on rear or stopping on front wheel. Overall, I love the game.

Yeah it's a very great game, graphics are pretty good, love it. But that bloody boat Stunt Challenge is truly driving me insane, I've searched up cheats on how to make it fast and nothing is working. It's really giving me the sh*ts and wanting to make me uninstall the game. Please, please make the boat faster. Or I am gonna uninstall this game cause it's seriously annoying, I've attempted the Boat Challenge not even kidding 27 times I've counted. And everytime, I'm off by like 1 or 2 seconds. 😤

After completing the game, I thought that I should make a review. The gameplay is good, the story is fun and entertaining, the missions might be a bit hard at times. This may be a bug, but everytime I do a stunt jump, it holds me in a cinematic view that I'm trapped. And committing doesn't work. Other than that, Good game though.

This is a pretty bad port of a, well, a fine game i guess, but this port needs work, constant crashes, glitches, bugs and the like, making the game impossible to play, some missions are broken! The stunt boat challenge, is literally impossible, for some reason, the boat is stuck going way to slow causing any attempt to fail when you eventually run out of time. This definitley needs to be fixed

The controls are absolutely horrible, the permanent set auto aim doesn't allow me to target enemies that are a major threat to me. In fact I would rather have my own ability to target enemies. I wish gyroscope was added as when in scope mode everytime I try to fire, the sight goes to a completely different place when aiming. The overall control of the player is extremely difficult and atrocious. Please fix this as soon as possible.

Brilliant game but does have its issues. As everyone else has said the boats are slow but you can complete some of the boat missions it's just if your being timed. What a throw back to a game you used to have to have a games console and big block TV to play! In my eyes it's worth the money just to mess around but it does have its issues 👍 if your looking to buy to complete then this isn't for you, if your looking to buy to waste some time and reminisce then go for it

The game works well however it is missing a few things from the original version. Ambulances and fire trucks don't respond to events like they use to. The spawning distance for cars and people is very close which is probably the most disappointing part of the phone based game. Overall I enjoyed playing it and finished the game

The controls can be difficult especially on certain missions. The bonus time given on side missions such as 'firefighter' isn't fair either. You'll be given roughly 1 minute to travel and to rescue multiple moving people that takes around 3-5 secs just to put out the fire. The water doesn't slow them down and to top it off sometimes they come running directly to your moving vehicle and you'll end up failing the mission.

Can't drive properly,making missions horrible. The handbrake is irrelevant to sharp turns.Even during the motorcycle mission the npcs couldn't steer and crashed. If the steering was fixed, it would be a much better experience. Not to mention you drive faster than the cars in game loads. The nostalgia is there until you see the flaws in the controls. As for other posts, I have a s20 FE so I highly doubt my specs to be the issue especially for a mobile game and highly doubt it to be a user issue.

I love gta one of my favorite series of games. Problem with it is not just the controls, but certain timed missions are impossible like the 1st mission for the Cubans which is the boat race. You get 3 minutes on what's SUPPOSED TO BE a fast boat but by the time you get to the last 2 checkpoints time is already run out. I tried that mission at least 5 times in as many different approaches as possible and it's STILL the same exact thing same time out so you still fail the damn mission.

I have never played this game on any other platform and on the Android platform it's all touch screen and I find it very difficult to control the avatar and move around the environment and driving is even harder to control the vehicle. This game really needs to have a second controller because touch screen is terrible. The graphics are great and the sound is great but trying to control the avatar is the most difficult thing about the game and I get very frustrated trying to play it.

The game can be choppy from time to time but that's to be expected from an old pc game. I find some issues with the animation such a the vehicles especially the bigger ones such as planes, tanks,and the apache helicopter. The controls are a bit bugged usually varies depending on what your doing. Despite these minor setback it's been years since I've played the original and I have to say they really did an amazing job porting the game it's almost exactly like the older version in every aspect.

It played ok on my LG z982 but now I've upgraded to the galaxy s10 and it plays almost exactly like the playstation version I remember. They had to cut out a bit of the story, but it is still great! Every now and then it will "force close" and go back to my home screen so I have to load it all over again. I have not figured out why. There are no other apps running at the time, and there is no way it could be a memory/RAM issue. I will go back to my 5-star rating whwn/if this stops happening!

Overall a good port of Vice City. If you don't like the mobile controls(which I didn't), you can hook up a controller and it will work. I used a ps4 controller with bluetooth and it worked great. A word of warning though. DONT TRY TO GO FOR 100%. The fire truck minigame is broken: hitting people with the water stream won't knock them down, making it impossible to finish, and thus impossible to 100% the game. It seems others are also having issues in other parts of the game.The bugs bring it down

Vice city is one of, if not- my all time favourite games. Love having it on my phone. I feel like they've made some concessions to help the fact its harder to play on a phone screen, as apposed to a full controller. But there are some bugs. The boats seem much slower than they used to and little glitches here and there. The Skimmer sea plane- wont take off. But all in all the game, the story the feel.. are all still there.

The game was amazingly great just like the PC Version and I like it because I really didn't expect the game to be pretty much the same as the PC Graphics and all other experiences of the game. The Game even does work with missions quite well, no glitches, proper gaming and nothing much of bugs that I have recently came across. For those who don't have a PC with a stable RAM or CPU to hold the game while playing on the Computer then I would recommend the Mobile Version because it's just the same.

Three negative things: 1. Vehicle steering is sluggish compared to 3 and San Andreas 2. Combat is not great, but doable. 3. The building in front of the Malibu club seems to be glitched as the front of it is clipped a little into the streets. Other than that I thought it was good. I had no crashes or performance issues like others have had so idk what theyre talking about. Cheats would have been nice but without them I feel like I can respect the game a little more and actually try to 100% it.

A truely incredible game unbelievably available on a phone now. From what I have experienced ,every aspect of the original product is present. The graphics are very good for being played on a phone with no noticeable lag or glitching. If someone would have told us 18 years ago as we hooked up our Playstation 2's that we would be playing the game on a cellphone now, our heads would have exoloded. Fantastic work!

Very smooth texturing and cut scenes!!! Much better that ps2 and xbox. Nevertheless, the controls on any handheld touchscreen device are particularly tedious, so it takes getting used to. That being said, drone, bike, and piloting missions can be difficult. SAVE YOUR GAME!!! every mission I mean that. Last you want is to play a hard mission and the game crashes or your phone dies and you have to play it again not remembering how you beat it. When in doubt, save save save.

About a 3rd of the way through the game and, like each download on android before, the screen blackened, leaving only the time and a pink circle where the map is supposed to be. It's done this on every android device I've owned. Closing the app and restarting doesn't help and the only other option is to reinstall it. That itself doesn't help because it just does it again. Help?..

I played this game on PS2 and a few years ago on an iPhone. Never had major issues with those. Since I'm using Android now I purchased it again and man it has been a horrible experience. The game is plaged with bugs, cars maneuverability is awful and I'm currently stuck on mission "Spilling the beans" since the right hand buttons are gone, I can't get into a car nor can I run or shoot. I'm running Android Pie on a Galaxy S8 if that helps. Highly considering a refund now.

The overall game is good. Just minor problems with the controls and theres a graphical downgrade for the textures in my game for some reason. Like text and wall textures are pixelated even with max graphics settings. I know it's not supposed to be like that because I've seen the comparison on youtube and their textures are fine. Please fix this, its annoying. I was hoping unistalling and reinstalling would solve the problem but it made worse by deleting all my progress.

After failed download in the first attempt I was able to install it in the second. When I started playing the game believe me the game is full of glitches and bugs. I can't play the game properly. The controls are self operating always steering right. This really annoyed and the second is all images go dark you can only see the road. No buildings or houses so better to play in a pc nothing special.
