Almost perfect. It would have been 100% great if you didn't have to emulate the screen font resolution of the original. It is so pixelated as to be on the verge of being unusable for a smartphone user. It even looks to me it is worse than the hardware LCD, but could be my eyes. At least add the option for smoother screen fonts, for those who actually want to use the app, vs those who just want to nurture their nostalgia.

Exactly the TI-89 emulator you were looking for. No ads, no network connection, only the storage permission to access the ROM. Recent versions of Android let you limit the apps's scope to only one folder, so just leave it in that. My only recommendation: a higher resolution image for the calculator buttons. Also make it look better when scaled, since so many modern devices differ in aspect ratio.

It is a near perfect emulation of the original hardware TI-89 or TI-89 Titanium. I use this app quite frequently to check the solutions that students submit in various levels of mathematics that I cover. It is a great tool for reverse-engineering procedures or formulas when you forget them (the irony!). Unfortunately, it is also a giant crutch when used exclusively by students (as with any other graphing calculator with CAS capability). It is a great app that you can use during those random moments or when it is just convenient to calculate solutions. I always tell my students that using a graphing calculator, especially those with CAS capability, is like wielding something that could be your own downfall - I don't care that a student has it but a good student should know to be honest with oneself and use it to check work and not use it to just get answers. Besides, most colleges and universities, including the institution I work for, ban these emulators or calculators during crunch time (exams and lab assignments involving concepts).

Amazing emulator. Although, there is a problem with the scaling with the latest Android version. There's about 10% of the screen at the bottom that stays grey.

Need a ti-89? Don't feel like carrying an extra bulky device from the 70s in your pocket? Then this is the app for you. Works great. Just like the real thing. Only problem is the testing center probably won't like seeing a cell phone on your desk. So use this everywhere you're allowed to have a cell phone. Keep the real thing on hand for every case where you're not.

Outstanding Calculator App. Though it was complicated to make it fully operational, after figuring it out, it is the best calculator you can have. In many ways is better than the calculator itself. But you should have the actual calculator and a PC. The app is having the TI89 Titanium inside my mobile, I removed the batteries of the actual one and store it away. I don't have to worry about discharged batteries (4 AAA) or the leakage of this batteries damaging the calculator. I love the app.

faster than the actual ti 89 example the weird e thing for sum then (x,x,1,100000) takes 3 mins irl but on the app it takes a lot less time (approx 20 to 30 seconds) and yes emulation speed is at 100 percent but otherwise 👌

Great emulator; it's nice to have the TI-89 Titanium with me every day. It has all the potential that I need to make complex calculations and compare with my students. The only downside is that I couldn't load the ROM from my calculator, with my configuration. But nevertheless, great app!

I spent awhile trying to find a calculator app which could replace my TI-89 and be better. Eventually I realized the only thing that could be better is something that just "is" a TI-89. This app is the calculator (right down to the crumby 90's screen graphics). It's perfect. I can keep my calculator the way I want without carrying it with me. My third grade teacher always said "you had to learn this stuff because you wouldn't always have your calculator with you". LOL What now?

Seems to generally work except for one major annoyance--key presses often do not register. You'll often times have to press one of the calculator's buttons multiple times for it to register. Still useable though so I plan to keep the app unless I find a better option.

Is a good app and useful. The best skin is default but I can't see very well the letters I prefer using keyboard but is dificult to change the keyboard (needs shortcuts to access to functions) to return the skin and It isn't in fullscreen I can't hide the virtual buttons

nice to see one of the last and best calculators from the golden-age of graphing programmable calculator era available for android(at last with some perfection).The only thing that disturbs is the dotted menu entries;wonder if there's a way to make them solid and easily-read

I used to love this app, then it stopped working in Android 9. You have to hold down the buttons for a full second before the action takes place. Now it takes a minute for a simple math operation. Please help/fix!

I loved used a TI 89 as a student and it is nice to keep at my desk as an engineer. I love having this app as I can keep this wonderful calculator with me at all times now. This emulator is perfect as it even keeps the navigation shortcuts I memorized over the years.

What an excellent job! Takes a little time to pull the ROM off my Ti-89 but after setup it works like a charm. Faster than my old reliable 89. You have helped humanity with this. Thank you.

When I first loaded it, it worked fine. But the second time I loaded it, it now crashes. No one install it's useless

The best app ever. It's amazing be able to have a ti89 on my phone. I don't even remember where my real ti89 and ti89 titanium are. Probably in the bottom of a drawer.

This is a solid emulator. Make sure you have the ROM. Other than that, I'm lost without my Ti89 and this makes it always available.

Since this app emulates several editions of TI calculators, you'll be perfectly at ease using this if you're already accustomed to them. I'm using it for basic calculations, so for my needs this is more than I'd ever need.

works well. well written since app can be moved to external SD memory! but, you have to copy the ti-89 Rom from your TI-89 Calculator. to no longer lets you download Rom from thier site

This app was a life saver as my TI-89 Titanium was stolen while taking Calc 3 in college; I could do all my homework with this, and use the 2 hour free rental from the college for tests! Even now, years later, I love always having my favorite calculator with me.

I need an update. No longer compatible with my newer phones. Kills my ability to download anything from play store and I had to uninstall it. Please fix.

It's a list of terms and conditions that would take up like 6 pages of Microsoft word with 12 size times new Roman. Not actually a calculator

At first I was skeptical but it's better than the real deal as I don't have to buy batteries and can read the graphs better since it's larger display on tablet!

In play store it doesn't say that you have to have TI calculator. But it is useless if you don't have one. What is the reason of having a virtual calculator if you have a real one.
