I really like this app and I hope it continues to expand. Edit: They fixed both the landscape and pre-rendering issues so I'm bumping it to 5 stars. :) It's not 100% full width in landscape (it looks like they use the navigation button as the offset), but it's close enough for me since it's completely readable on a 5" screen without manual adjustment now. Thanks guys!
Great selection, easy access and interface, but bugged. I have premium, but when I am reading inget interrupted by pop-ups telling me I should upgrade to premium. It's very annoying. Fix that and its instantly a 4 star. For 5 I would like to see a way to save a series for reading rather than an individual issue, and maybe a way to follow publishers, or favorite them so they pop up more frequently on the home screen.
The app is ok but it is slow, the set up of the website and app are to much, If they kept it simple like tapas and webtoon I think it would look a lot better and easier to navigate. (I honestly don't like there mascot but that's just personal preference) Also having a forum to interact with others would be great too, its an average reading app with a few problems in app and presentation.
Solid selection of titles for such a new app. A few issues in terms of functionality (ex. the scoring system not working properly) that will hopefully be ironed out as it gets more users. Pretty damn neat--though we'll have to wait and see if it's good for the creative teams behind the comics that have been added thus far.
UPDATE: I'm still having trouble with the age restriction on the app Pretty good so far. The comics are good quality and there is a lot to choose from. That being said, it doesn't appear that I hace access to everything on the app. it keepa saying that I am limited by the age on my profile but I have everything up to 18+ set in the settings. Also there is no manga showing up on the app. I would love to use this more if the functionality can be sorted out. Thanks.
Almost every comic I try to read doesn't load, even some which are recommended on the main screen. I wanted to pay to read some BOOM! Studios comics, but I'm not sure if I'll have the same problems if I do.
Guess what! I'm having the same problems with the Premium Subscription service. A great idea in conception, and I enjoyed it while work, but with the popping up of ads every 5 pages and pleading for me to take a premium subscription when I already had, it has turned into a disaster of an App. How do I get my money back for the current months subscription? Who knows, there appears to be no way to contact developers for any kind of assistance. Recommended to steer clear of this mess.
2020 review.. you are still shoving so much ads that it makes enjoying the app not possible. It's pushing me away. Seriously... it's been over a year now. Fix the damn app. I don't mind ads, in fact I'd love to support the authors in other ways too, but each time an ad plays it crashes my phone and it's a S9 plus... not old or crusty. Fix your program and more people will begin enjoying this platform. The crashes and inability to read comics turns me away to Webtoons or Tapas instead
Update: got personal response from ceo, so back to 5 stars :) ---- Sorry, changed from 5 stars to 1, due to ongoing technical issues with my subscription and lack or responses to emails. I have cancelled the subscription now and expect a refund for the months I could not access the premium service. A response to emails would be a nice touch as well.
Your app really seems to be great with a wide verity of comics that I would love to read but I can't- all of the titles would show up but once I want to read it will not load. Hope this could be fixed soon I would love to use ur app!
Im not a fan of this app. I don't like the UI. It feels like too much on the first page. I don't like their logo/choice of color scheme either. (Personal taste). I DO like the idea of being able to read both printed comics and webcomics. I just believe they need a better UI and maybe marketing too.
I only used this app for 1 specific story, but for some reason the app stopped working. It deleted everything off of the app to the point of nothing being on the app at all. This is ridiculous and I wanted to send feedback to the company to see if they could fix the issue but eveytime I would try, i would get kicked out of the app. None of this is worth 1 story that I cant read on webtoons. If anyone isn't happy with this app try webtoons.
I'm running into an issue where it still tells me that there are X amount of titles from this publisher that I cannot view due to my age settings. I've tried setting it to 18+ as well as ALL but it still shows the same message.
This app is awesome! I can read (at least) most of my favourite comics! The experience is really great and all expectations met! Just a shame that you can't download the comics to read offline. (Or at least i didn't find a way to do that) That would be great!
Interesting variety of comics, webtoons, and manga, but the app is too messy and difficult to navigate. If it were cleaned up some (smaller icons, more accessible Info, search and filtering functions), I'd consider redownloading.
They offer a great selection and decent speed even on a s6, one downside is that even though I bought the subscription I get an ad every three pages or so. Unfortunately that ruins the experience for me.
It's a good app. It would be better if we could adjust the width of the comics on the screen (quite useful in full screen / landscape mode): to add in the options please!
Great idea, garbage app. Paid for premium, but still get ads. Randomly logs me out while browsing for comics. Fix that, and I'd probably give it 4 stars, but as it is, I don't think I'll renew my subscription.
It's a nice but!!! There are so many ads,I would prefer to pay for episodes in advance like webtoon app if they want to make some money! I've seen the call of duty ad 10 times already in 5 pages read! And it's so horrible because it's a violent game.maybe reconsider your way of earning money from the app
The collection is really versatile with all the manga and animations and all but after reading a few chapters, the app crashed and my phone got hanged... It was really annoying... Also, the ads are annoying too
Every comic I try to read says failing to load image. I have tried re-installing app, and it did not fix the issue. So this app is completely unusable for me.
Great app, even the free version. I can happily deal with the ads. I've tried the big two's apps' and dont much care for them. I think they could take a lesson from you folks.
It freezes after a few minutes of use..and too much adds..its actually frustrating when you have to watch adds for some seconds before closing it.. other than that collection is good..
I keep having issues accessing Graphite Premium despite being a premium member. It keeps telling me to subscribe and then it says "error, you have already subscribed to the item. It won't let me access any of the premium comics that I have. Is it possible to fix this?
This app is not suitable for reading. .. I try to open comics but it takes so much time to upload that i am afraid i will loose my whole data on it . Please fix this problem as soon as possible . there are some comics i want to read and they are not available on other platforms.
I paid for a subscription to read my favorite transformers comics and all the sudden the app claims that I need to buy premium again. Of course, Google Play says that I'm already subscribed to the service so I can't do anything about it. This app is either broken or a scam, I demand a refund.
Hi. I too am having the same issue as so many of us where my Premium subscription isn't being recognized. I've tried to contact you through your site but it wouldn't actually send any messages. I've e-mailed your support e-mail with no response. I honestly don't want to keep paying for a service that I cannot use. Please look into this, thank you.
Nice content. Until pages snap to width in landscape, it is still pretty much unusable on mobile. Still a great idea, just not there yet. Edit : They fixed the viewer, and it is great. I cannot recommend the program enough. The ad supported free version is great, and it is worth paying for.
